please compare with moondrop dawn pro, also a dual 43131 without second stage amp (i am suspicious about this one doing 310mW@32 ohms with extra amp) at the same specs and price i'd rather go with moondrop a better known brand
Hey! Yes i would like too to. But sadly dont have the moondrop dawn pro. Andy from dongle madness has both and he prefers the Akliam over the moondrop, he said that Akliam edges the moondrop. Although both are good so i dont think you would loose out by going with the moondrop. As for the company reputation, yes i do understand that. But from the few aliexpress reviews i have seen. Akliam seems tp be very responsive and helpful with the customers. hope i have helped you 🙂

@@hokagoteatimereviews Yes i did. Friendly maybe, honest not. They said that was the error with the first batch. They didn't offer me a replacement, not even a SE dac only. They have send me 25dollar cuppon for the new 90 dollar dac. So i have had bad experiance with that brand.
I am so sorry you have to go through that, I will have a chat with the brand rep once they return. I still suggest contact them once again and speak about the flaw and ask for a refund or atleast for a $50 coupon. They are in holiday in China right now if I am not wrong.

I have both, I prefer the PD4 Plus more. It’s very subtle but is slightly better than the Dawn Pro.
The onboard controls is a huge plus.
