The woman in Islam is the mother, sister, daughter, aunt, aunt, grandmother, wife, partner with the man in bearing the responsibilities of life. One with the man in honor and homage. Muslims believe that Islam gave women their rights after they suffered in the pre-Islamic era of their loss, the most important of which is the right to life. Muslim scholars largely agree that at the beginning of Islam and specifically in the early sixth century CE, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ extended the rights of women to include the right to inherit, own property, marry, alimony, and other rights. The Prophet Muhammad also forbade abusing women and ordered them to be treated kindly and compassionately, so he said in the Farewell Pilgrimage: “Treat women well, for they are with you helpers who do not have anything for themselves, and you only took them with the trust of God and sought permission from their private parts with the words of God, so be mindful of my words, O people.” And in Sahih al-Tirmidhi [1], the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, says: (The believers with the most perfect faith are the best in character, and the best of you are the best for their women).[2][3][4] The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, also said: (Oh God, I embarrass the rights of the two weak, the orphan and the woman) meaning, treat them with kindness and compassion, and do not burden them with what they cannot bear, and do not fall short in their right [which is obligatory and recommended.] The history also mentions that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, a few days before his death, went out to the people and was seriously ill, and delivered the last sermon to them, and among what he said and recommended: “O people, God is God in prayer, God is God in prayer.” Meaning, I swear by God Almighty that you preserve prayer, and he kept repeating it until he said: “O people, fear God regarding women, fear God regarding women, I advise you to be good towards women.”[6] Islamic law took into account the differences between male and female, and based on these physical and psychological differences, Islam established the frameworks that govern the relationship of women to men and vice versa, and defined the rights and duties of each of them towards the other. Because of these differences, the man has become responsible for the care and protection of the woman and the provision of a decent living for her, which is what is called in Islam the guardianship.[7] Islam also emphasized the equal rights of men and women long ago. As it came in Surat Al -Hujurat: O people, we created you from the remembrance and female, and we have made you peoples and tribes to know that I will be blessed. Maryam A. was muslim.
They included only the women alive at the time of Muhammad (SAWW)'s call to prophethood or born after that. Otherwise, Maryam (AS) and Asiya (AS) would have been in this list.

No muslim women from Indonesia and Malaysia? We have some of the greatest women in the Muslim world. Kumalahayati was a great navy and feared by European. There is also Ratu Kalinyamat who attack Melacca which at that was taken by the Portuguese. Ratu Hijau from Patani also a great queen who led into the golden age of Patani. Don't forget Acehnese warrior who lead the resistance to the Dutch like cut nyak dien and cut Meutia. There is also several modern figures for woman emancipation like Nyai Ahmad Dahlan, Dewi Sartika, Rasuna Said, Kartini, etc. We might be far from Middle East but that doesn't we are not part of the Muslim world.

The Prophet Muhammad also forbade abusing women and ordered them to be treated kindly and compassionately, so he said in the Farewell Pilgrimage: “Treat women well, for they are with you helpers who do not have anything for themselves, and you only took them with the trust of God and sought permission from their private parts with the words of God, so be mindful of my words, O people.” And in Sahih al-Tirmidhi [1], the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, says: (The believers with the most perfect faith are the best in character, and the best of you are the best for their women).[2][3][4] The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, also said: (Oh God, I embarrass the rights of the two weak, the orphan and the woman) meaning, treat them with kindness and compassion, and do not burden them with what they cannot bear, and do not fall short in their right [which is obligatory and recommended.]
The history also mentions that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, a few days before his death, went out to the people and was seriously ill, and delivered the last sermon to them, and among what he said and recommended: “O people, God is God in prayer, God is God in prayer.” Meaning, I swear by God Almighty that you preserve prayer, and he kept repeating it until he said: “O people, fear God regarding women, fear God regarding women, I advise you to be good towards women.”[6]
Islamic law took into account the differences between male and female, and based on these physical and psychological differences, Islam established the frameworks that govern the relationship of women to men and vice versa, and defined the rights and duties of each of them towards the other. Because of these differences, the man has become responsible for the care and protection of the woman and the provision of a decent living for her, which is what is called in Islam the guardianship.[7] Islam also emphasized the equal rights of men and women long ago. As it came in Surat Al -Hujurat: O people, we created you from the remembrance and female, and we have made you peoples and tribes to know that I will be blessed. It is noteworthy that the historic declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly regarding women and human rights, which states: (All people are born free and equal in dignity and rights) was approved on November 10, 1948, which means that Islam has preceded many contemporary global legislation on the subject Gender equality for at least 1,000 years.[8]
