A porcelain set of schwasrika (yes I do know how to spell it properly) salt and pepper from 1938 sold, in 1984-6 for something in the neighborhood of $11,000. Somehow I don't believe a couple hundred Euro would even get you in the auction.
I still have and use 6 of those steak knives!!
