Forest department kuch nahi bolta hai dry broken lakdi k liye, bonfire se koi environmental hazard nahi hai ( in fact ash is good for vegetation as it contains phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and Potassium which are crucial for flora and fauna). This is the reason forests are actually put under controlled fires by Forest Department. Na yeh log alcohol consume kar rahe hai aur na hi kuda faila rahe hai, this is as environment friendly as it can get. Agar ap solo overlanding karte ho ya group mai b karte ho, it is best to take permission from the locals first, pahadi log mana nahi krte vese bhi.
