Today you've made another Aussie proud. You are one of the pioneers carrying the tradition of a shoey, outside of Australia 🥹👌 Oh and congratulations on the win 😃
You missed the 6th one, luck!! 😜 Or don't roll the car, not sure which one helps more 😂. Congratulations man, amazing job this rally, I was looking forward to bringing the fight to you all weekend, but it'll be next time!!
It is so true! Luck is always in play...I'm sorry yours ran out. I was also looking forward to our battle. I dug deep on stage 4 to see if I could catch up to you.
@@Teamoneilrally If the crews wanted to bother with it for such a short, mostly inconsequential stage, could they have opted to run tarmac wheels and tires for that special stage, or for parity's sake did the ARA demand full gravel only setups??
There are a few Honda's out there and they are usually fast. The ground clearance is lower than a Ford Fiesta would be my biggest concern. VW had factory support and around 2012 the Fiesta entered the market with Ford support (Team O'Neil and M-Sport). I think there is more of these cars becuase there was factory support. We met a team this weekend rallying their Civic and they finished which was great to see
This is not a homologated car (which is what qualifies a car to be in a certain class) but it is close to the spec of a Rally4 car but has a stock gear box
@@Teamoneilrally The Mk7 & Mk8 STs are over the FIA displacement limit for boosted cars, hence why the base, 1.0 3 cylinder Ecoboost is used in the homologated Rally 4 Fiestas.
Sure, it's a lot of work, sacrifice, and skill required to win an amateur rally race, but the winnings create a secure future for your family for many years to come. Oh, wait.
Nice work.
These recaps feel super down to earth and personal, I hope they continue!
Thank you! These are going to continue but in process of shifting this content to @ChrisCyr965 after the next rally (LSPR)

I'm just happy to have both of you battling it out in prepped versions of the car I drive every day to go get groceries!
Keep it up!! 😄👍👍👍
Congrats 🍾
Preparation is key, check and double check things. Failure to prepare is to prepare for failure.

More rally content for us starting rallycross and amature rally
Congrats on the win! I saw you guys at the Speedway Saturday night. Did you almost spin on on the oval????
That was intentional...Just trying to show off for the crowd. We just posted a reel on Instagram about it...Glen my co-driver was suprised too
@@Teamoneilrally Glad that was intentional! haha

unrelated question: why don’t more people use the Hondas to rally?

Does this Fiesta qualify for WRC Rally4 class?
