when u find a bike (or any draggable item) in the dumpster.. you have to put it first in your own lot. then go to build buy and put it in the household inventory for the game to consider it as your own

For the White Cake situation, it's the Foodie NAP. Get rid of it, and disable NPCs from voting for NAPs in the options. This is why I don't play with any of the NAPs, most of them just cause really annoying stuff like the white cake making to happen.

The pressure cooker requires chopping up for making food. I don’t think you can use it on the table. Although plain rice might work. Ice cream might be good in the summer. I don’t know how good the return is
There was this guy at the marketplace Alon Sadya, who bought and ate 3 portions of the poorly made food, which would make such a great storyline for a romance - it was a love of first sight, so strong that he risked with food poisoning for her. 😃 He could take over the marketplace and cooking(potentially opening a restaurant one day) , she could be the landlord-boss-lady.
With the animanga inspired stuff in High School Years, figures for example..! Dog and cat figures with that pack, toys, etc. It's like they completely forgot it 😅
Meanwhile, we have like 8 drawing tables for kids 😅 I appreciate how many different styles of drawing table we've gotten, but it would be nice to see this passion for other objects too!

For those who doesn’t know halo halo is a shaved ice with milk and lots of different toppings. Usual toppings are ube, leche flan, pearls, jellies, sweet beans, and coconut meat.
Ravasheen has a set called filthy fabulous and there's a spray bottle that lets you repair burnt furniture for a dollar. I think the sim sprays the object to fix it.
Helpful Hint: For the best profit on the food stand, I've found that Challah (jewish bread; cooking level 2) will sell for $189 at LEVEL 2 and it goes for like $500 up at higher cooking skill😁 good luck getting rich! P.S. imo "give sales pitch" is useless. It just distracts the sims from buying and it just takes longer ... Running the food stand and just standing there is the most effective way to make money😂
The give sales pitch thing has repeatedly gotten sims to buy, in my experience. (And IRL I just got done with a challah sandwich...mmm I love challah...)

Also why is it kinda really easy to make money in this game by just scamming your landlord and spreading secrets? I swear this is the strongest start for any of the bigwallets

If anyone has the 'have the property owner visit your unit' bug where it doesn't fulfill even though you asked the owner over, instead invite them to your lot via the relationship panel, not the phone, that should make it complete the task
9:54 the burnt furniture can be recycled and then you can use the materials to craft new furnitire on the fabricator. When you start getting random dyes from the dumpsters you could use them to fabricate furniture in whatever colours the dyes happen to be.
Are you planning on having Laird save up and buy that $20k run-down apartment building you built a month ago? It’d be cool to watch you slowly renovate that build through gameplay.
I think if you have the recycle challenge trait that you'll have a better chance of things getting tossed in the dumpster. Namely, because the regular bins will get filled up pretty quickly. And then you can use the (almost) infinite rummage trick to get more parts for repairing and upgrading. Here's how it works: Rummage trashcan. Trashpile appears. Scavenge trashpile for parts. Rummage trashpile. Sort recycling or compost until trashcan is empty. Throw trashpile away. Repeat.
I feel like James should be able to replace replaceable appliances and cheat the money back in certain cases (like the YumCooker, since it was a random event, and the grill, because Glenifer McGlorbin was the one who set it on fire). It's ridiculous to use Laird's money to replace things she didn't break in the first place.
For the selling table, you can put woodworking objects in the home chef hustle table. Add a carved dragon or horse along with the rice to give your customers variety. Also, take advantage of the “convince to buy” option when you have multiple things for sale. You can try and get them to buy the most expensive item (similar to recommend dish from dine out.) Putting food in the fridge means your neighbors will eat it. It’s better to just store the stuff in your table it will keep longer than in your inventory and no one will eat it. I haven’t played this part time job yet, but it looks like the pay is glitched the same as streamer. In that job you’d get $10 for work at home and much more for going to work.

Also, a tip, whenever you can upgrade the dryer to lint-less or clean the lint because the neighbour's keep starting fires all the time Since you get burnt items from the dumpster, does it mean you can make the landlord fix it for free? hmmm

I was also playing with the handyperson career and to complain about objects, you need a used object, doesn't need to be broken but that's easier to see, and you need to select the object itself to complain about it to someone else. Used objects seem to be a new feature, where over time certain objects will get worn down and need to be "freshened up".
Not sure if you’ll see this! But since you’re using mods for this LP as well- LittleMsSam has a NPC mod so employees will auto spawn if you have the lot trait on. It’ll be helpful in the community space so the bartender will spawn without you paying for it! Hopefully you see this. The mod is called “Auto Employees”

I actually think she can make it as a spellcaster, with the cauldron she can make mac and cheese and chilli, plus she can make a lot of it. Then with the first 3 spells, she can scruberoo the mold and water away, repairio the electronics, delisioso the food, and make the potion Plentiful needs to keep her needs up. After that, she can sell whatever she has left over at the Night Market.
I’ve been using the fabricator to craft things in my Rags to Riches - I think it makes more money since the cost is just bits and pieces. Plus I’ve used it to craft furniture for my tenant units once I had my own property!
I’ve only had the white cake glitch when visiting a lot once and it was in a household I made of Mr. Rogers, Levar Burton of Reading Rainbow, and Steve from Blues Clues 😂 It was kind of cute because wanting to make cake anytime someone visits is a very wholesome thing but literally every surface in the house had mixing bowls and cakes on it 😂 It is odd that the glitch hasn’t been fixed yet and that sims do it in the shared space in the rental space

Not surprised you got an insurance payout for the grill. Tenants can freely build, and sell existing items, in shared spaces. I did a bit of this myself about 2 days ago. Sold off some ugly little planters and set up woodworking bench and nectar maker on the lawn of the building run by Thi Linh.

The game will eventually return the bike to you if it gets left somewhere, but it takes a little while.
