Also salmonella isn't as dangerous for dogs as humans. They have a very fast acting and tough gut. No dog has ever died from salmonella. Some dogs will chew on some cooked beef bones and not have any problems, but it is not worth the risk. Don't do it. Certain process of baking the bones can be ok, but still more dangerous than raw.
