    Thank u for video
i would like to share my story daughter
my 15-year-old daughter has eoe, the biopsy showed that she also has reflux, she has been on oneprazole medications for 2 years, the medications are working, the inflamation has decreased, but too many side effects have occurred and unfortunately the reflux is worse. How should she be treated now? I supplement my daughter with iron, vitamin B complex, vitamin D, magnesium. If it weren't for my awareness and deepening knowledge, my daughter would feel worse Why doesn't the doctor talk about side effects, I'm looking for another herbal method, I don't see how my daughter would be on ppi for the rest of her life, it causes deficiencies The stomach must have acid then all the vitamins are absorbed Maybe someone here, you use different methods and could share
i got question if this eoe could be connected with family history as well

Thank you for sharing your daughter's story. We cannot provide medical advice but suggest you consult with a GI health care provider with your questions. I believe I may have provided info on another video you commented on. Is your daughter under the care of gastroenterologist?
Highly suggest you watch this episode with a Pediatric Gastroenterologist from the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Sophia Patel. She provides excellent, patient-focused education/insight on EoE treatments for children. There are some new treatment options/indications available that she explains. This information may be helpful as you prepare for the next doctor visit as it has names of the treatment options you can ask your doctor about and what may be helpful for your daughter.
