This question should closely mirror what you should expect to see in the Mathematics Knowledge (MK) subtest of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) as well as the Pre-screening internet-delivered Computer Adaptive Test (PiCAT). #grammarhero #ASVAB #AceTheASVAB #ASVABVersion #PiCAT #algebra #afqt #asvabexam #asvabtest #asvabmath #asvabmathknowledge #asvabmathprep #asvabtutoring #asvabmathhelp #arithmeticreasoning #asvabexam #asvabtest #asvabmath #asvabmathknowledge #asvabmathprep #asvabtutoring #asvabmathhelp #arithmeticreasoning

    All you have to notice is that the answer is going to be even. 256 is the only even answer. No calculation needed.

      Honestly, more than half of the questions in my short videos can be solved mentally, including this one.

    Interested to know if the answer could be any of the other choices if a different formula is used? If so then you must also see the problem with a question like this

    Add first and lat number, its the only number choice divisible by 4. Logically it's 256.

    It has to be an even number, even if can't multiply you should be able to figure that out. Only even number is 256

    After you get 4*4*4*4
    you look through the options A B end in 1, D ends in 5, so
    the answer must be C...

    Maybe you could add thr explanation that 3125=5^5 this we got 3^3 blank and 5^5 means we miss 4^4

    1 à la puissance de 1 = 1. 2 au carré = 4. 3 à la puissance de 3 = 9. 4 à la puissance de 4 = 256. 5 à la puissance de 5 = 3125. Voilà!

    It's an aptitude test

    • @GrammarHero
      @GrammarHero  7 месяцев назад

      It is, but you can brush up on your core math skills to improve your score.

    • @PeterSmith-b2e
      @PeterSmith-b2e 6 месяцев назад

      @@GrammarHero It's an aptitude test. It's testing your natural talent for certain kinds of tasks. People who have an easy time with the math questions will be more likely to be given a job that requires more math skills. Brushing up on core math doesn't really help you.

    • @GrammarHero
      @GrammarHero  6 месяцев назад

      @@PeterSmith-b2e I disagree. If you haven't done long division or worked with fractions since elementary school, it is helpful to brush up on those skills by practicing, especially since you can't use a calculator on the test.

    • @PeterSmith-b2e
      @PeterSmith-b2e 6 месяцев назад

      @@GrammarHero I agree it's helpful in general. But the ASVAB isn't that kind of test. It's an aptitude test. It's trying to match your natural talents with jobs that use those talents. If you don't have a natural talent for math-heavy work, there's no point in brushing up just to get a "better" score on the ASVAB.
