Good morning, Leslie. This would be a good video to upload to your LIVING WITH DEMENTIA channel. Maybe just change the title to, "A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH JASON." Love and peace to you and your hubby.
@@ginavea5465 lol, I ALMOST didn't post it, cuz I thought it was just me! I'm glad ur just as nutty as I am. They are so lovable aren't they? I don't know where she gets all that energy!! Plz take care 😘
@@Glimmeringrainbowcrystals I do too lovey, I'm glad to see another Leslie crossover with Jenny. What a small world. Kyle's videos have been killing me. Ugh. We gotta support Leslie just as much, because in most ways, Jason is already gone and ppl don't understand that. Plz take care of yourself out there❤️
So much respect and admiration for you. Being a caregiver is not for the faint of heart. God bless you as you love and care for your husband so well. You are in my prayers.
I am a cancer survivor and I totally get dark humor. Jason feels safe with you to actually say what he thinks but it's still dark. It's very hard to not be in control of your life. Also hard to be close to someone in this situation.
Infusion for her and being a caregiver wow a whole new respect for her, I know how exhausted I was being caregiver to my dad w kidney failure and my husband's cancer at the same time and I wasn't I'll not making videos, FB etc. Haven't seen your recipes but I will support you 100% I pray God's love and patience over you, may His peace bring you strength and His presence grant you peace!
I absolutely adore watching you both. I love seeing the old Jason come out like stealing cookie dough, he is like a cheeky school boy 😂, his grin and cheekiness is endearing. You commitment, love and adoration for each other is beautiful to watch. Lesley your strength and determination with undying faith is commendable. Love and strength to you both, from New Zealand 🇳🇿❤️🇳🇿😘
I rarely comment, but on another video you asked what content we would like to see. My vote is for this right here. Probably budget friendly for you, and wonderful content for your viewers. Seeing snippets of real life gentleness and kindness, in your very stressful life being played out …. is gold! It is also so very much needed in this day and age. I know you can edit out -not so lovely- moments. We all have them, even without your and Jason’s particular trial! (s) Anyway, if you are reading this, I will say this: You will not lose subscribers or viewers no matter what your content is about. Your calmness, humor, and giftedness and ability is… …Charming….to us all!🌿🌹🌿
Leslie, I understand your day. My husband of 58 years is a 22.3 year AF disabled vet and sixteen years into major health issues and I feel your energy levels and perhaps for different causes but it is real. Be sure to take care of yourself as well. I need to remember that myself often. God bless and have a beautiful week. Your cookies look delicious!!!
My husband went off Aricept after 7 years. He was getting agitated and did better off of it. What helped was Seroquel. I am not a doctor. I don’t know what would work for Jason but his doctor will give good advice. We are at year 11 after diagnosis and not much helps at this stage but he is very sweet and that helps. Hope it goes well.
Leslie, sometimes it may be helpful hearing about medication’s from others but it can also be very tiring. I’m glad you know to check with yours or Jason‘s doctors! It was nice seeing Jason and you today, you both bring smiles to others. I was surprised and concerned about the chainsaw. Take care, many people are thinking of you both with positive thoughts! ❤
Cookbooks are always fun, especially if u have amazing recipes of ur own,or handed down generations. Ive personally always thought Leslie should/could write a children's book, maybe about losing someone, explaining death to anyone is hard, but Leslie unfortunately has tons of experience with sickness and death, but she's sooooo sweet,i think shed have a perfect way of telling little ones how and why ppl die, grief, heaven,or whatever she chooses! Leslie turns evthing to gold. Good luck with the cookbook!!🎉🎉 Daria ~

I love this video and the way you filmed it! Your house is gorgeous, your puppies are adorable, it was nice to see Jason just wandering around doing his thing, and I love the way you chatted to us through the camera... about your projects, your work, your thoughts on Jason, it just all pulled together really well. And congratulations on the cookbook!!
My husband will get tested at the end of this month. I'm certain he has FTD. His father and grandfather both had it. He no longer eats dinner with the family. I don't understand it, but I think it's part of the dementia. Thanks for the video...I love it!
I enjoyed seeing you AND Jason! While my husband doesn't have dementia, I run everytime I hear the door too! He's 79, impatient and will get up on a ladder, run power tools, or do other "risky" type behaviors! I start my morning with a Bible study as well, I'm currently doing Mary DeMuth's "The Nineties". We're reading the entire Bible in 90 days! I love the online support and encouragement, tomorrow is day 50. Keeping you and your family in my prayers ❤
I felt your pain when Jason said, "I'll just die then." I lived for four years watching my husband die from stage 4 colon cancer. To hear the love of your life casually mention dying is very difficult. Thank you for a Day In The Life Of. It shed some light on what your days are like and what you deal with every day. I'm sending you hugs as you continue to travel this road.
Loved todays video Leslie! You Re such a kind and patient personj❤ the way you feel about sandra lee is the way i feel about you. God bless you sweet kind lady ❤xo😊

Hi Leslie and Jason, I truly think real life videos are way better than all the edited ones. Because absolutely no one in this world is perfect! Good video Leslie God Bless sweet family ❤
I loved Sandra Lee too! Such a treat to watch her after a long day of taking care of babies. I hope you know how amazing you are. Take care of yourself!
Hi my name is Susan Traynor, I have a twin sister who has early onset dementia she was diagnosed in 2018, we're both only 58, I just want you to know your a wonderful person, I so get you, and I understand how you feel, thankyou for making me feel I'm not alone
Leslie, you are such as inspiration to anyone who is a caregiver. My husband has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and is having such a hard time with his memory and of course confusion at times. I am not in good health at all so I wonder as things get worse what are we going to do but I can only take it one day at a time and know the Lord is here for both of us. You are so patient, kind, and one strong person. Try to take care of you too and it was good to see Jason too. Love and prayers for you both. ❤🙏
I’m so thankful that I found your channel. My husband has early stage dementia and watching your videos have made such a difference in my life. I feel less alone and more understood! You are such an inspiration to me.
This was just like being in your home as a guest. You two are awesome. You work with Jason and it just all comes together. Most would get upset and mad about not getting the meds. Yall laugh and continue on. ( we do the retired military thing also.) All the foods look great. You do a great job.
I enjoy you and Jason and look forward to your updates. I have a husband who became disabled 14 years ago, and it can feel very lonely, even when he is sitting in his chair 5 feet from me. I would imagine you feel this also. It's so hard at my age, but you are both so young yet, and I can't imagine this hitting us at your ages! My husband also watches your updates when they are on and I am watching. I have a 98 year old dad with Dementia who is still on his own, so between the two of them it is very stressful, but somehow you manage. It is okay to break down from time to time. You're only human! I have a Jason that is 51 now. Hug your Jason from me and tell him he makes me smile every time I see him. God bless you both from PA! You amaze me! So much energy, so much love shining from you! You are a beautiful person. Big cuddle for your and Jason ❤from the netherlands.. Btw you are so a busy bee, no wonder you are tired! Bless you!
We adore you, Leslie. You are an inspiration to everyone. My son-in-law has Lewy body dementia and your life chronicles my daughter’s life. My daughter is 53 and works full time from home, so thank God she is able to be available to be his caregiver. It is such a gift to follow you in your journey. God bless you, precious one. ❤Thank you very much!
I’m in the UK I don’t have any dementia and fortunately no one in my family has dementia though looking back I think my father suffered from it and it was untreated. I find it calming and inspirational to watch you both coping with daily life. Jason is a fascinating and very strong person. I’ve got an insight into the condition and I wish you love for the future ❤
This video was the perfect way to show your life as a caregiver and keeping up with Jason, housework and your (career) to make it all possible. I’m excited about your cookbook ! I love everything you make. Congrats !! Prayers 🙏🙏❤️
Dear Leslie, Praying for you and your dear husband today. My Dad had dementia, it is so sad, to see the person you love lose their own personality. A gospel group called,Brian Free and Assurance , has a beautiful song that is called "That's why we pray". Hopefully you can listen to it and be encouraged. The words say it all .🙏
Nice to catch up with yours and Jason’s daily lives! As I watch you being superwomen I can remember clearly the reality of my life caring for my late Dad, who suffered with Vascular Dementia for the best part of 24 years. It’s what you do out of love but it’s so very exhausting physically and mentally draining and upsetting as well. I’m sending Jason love to deal with his many changes and love to you Leslie to provide you with the strength you need to cope with life. It’s lovely you have kind and friendly neighbours that continue to treat Jason the same as they always did enabling you to pop out and do what you need to do safe in the knowledge that Jason’s having a good visit and staying safe too. Lots of love to you both from the U.K. 🌻🍟🍕🧁🧁🥤🍹🥰🙅♀️🙅♀️
Jason was doing his showtime on camera. He looks great and he loves to show his project. Good job Jason. Hang in there. Leslie no doubt you are tired. You need more ME time. 🙏
It's none of my business but darn that concerns me when they want to stop his medications to for several reasons for his mental health but also you know that can't that be dangerous suddenly stopping medication? I know you know what you're doing I trust in you you're the best caregiver
Love Sandra Lee, I watched every episode she made and follow her on instagram. Thank you for taking your time to make us happy with all your decorating and cooking ideas.❤
You’re doing it Leslie! ❤ Look how much Jason enjoys his day. My mum is almost 84 and with Alzheimer’s she thinks she’s 12. She’s so physically active until she crashes. She moves snow and trucks her bird feeders to the back of the property. In the summer she’s out gardening. She enjoys her days. She really only lasts for 15 -20 minutes and then she’s tired but I can’t deny her that joy. I just watch from close enough to see but not be seen. I could feel that joy on Jason’s face as he’s chopping down trees. I love a good chain saw too. I’m recovering from pericarditis but have a couple of autoimmune diseases. It’s good you rest when you’re tired. I just realized how much rest my body needs to recover. Take care of yourself. ❤
Jason that’s so cool to have your favorite beverages dispensed ! Leslie, I always hit the like button right when your video comes up 😊 Ooooo dinner looks good from good chop ! Thank you for filming a day in the life !
Oh my Leslie, you wore me out watching your A Day In The Life Video, no wonder you are tired, there really is so much more to having a RUclips channel than I ever imagined and then to have a sick loved one to care for ( it was so good to see Jason’s smiling face) you are an angel. Loved the video. 🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️
I was so hoping you could've had just a little nap when Jason was resting ...I totally understand why you didn't because of work but you were so tired from treatment. Take care both of you . Fun and uplifting video ...thankyou !
It’s so helpful watching you with Jason. The always present changes,,,,, of meds, eating by myself, dr appointments, etc. My husband is legally blind, his parents are 87 and 90, still live at home, my parents 80 and 85, and they still live at home, and I’m the only one that can drive to all dr appointments. I heard you ask “what kind of care giver am I” just now, about Jason’s leg!!!!! THAT IS exactly how I feel soooo much. It’s hard making the mental changes that happen so often. Hang in there lady. You’re going great!!!!!
OMG I can't imagine you must have a day planner filled with "to dos," I took care of my late husband with dementia, it was exhausting taking care of just one and here you are handling five that's a superhuman accomplishment. Bless you!
So great to see you and Jason Leslie. I know how hard it is being a caregiver 24/7 however…you always have a smile on your face ❤❤ Blessings for strength to carry you through this journey you two are on. Can’t wait for your next video AND cookbook❤❤🙏🏼
Your life is all over the place and it’s inspiring to watch you handle it all with Grace and keep Jason out of trouble 😂. You really should be proud of yourself ❤
Your generosity in sharing the ups and down helps me more than I even expected as my husband passed away a few years ago with an early onset dementia. He would say sometimes that he felt trapped and there was no way our. It was heartbreaking, a lot. You and your family are in my prayers. God bless you.
I absolutely loved joining you on a day in your life. What a wonderful video. Girl, you are amazing! I hope you get to sleep in this upcoming Tuesday! Sending you a hug. 😊
I love spending the day with you and Jason! This is my favorite kind of video from you. You are an inspiration and do such a great job caring for Jason!❤️🙏❤️
So nice to see Jason, love his sense of humor. This was a great video, you do so well Leslie keeping everything together. You don’t even need make up, your a beautiful lady inside and out. Your dogs are adorable. Beautiful couple…..Much love and prayers to you all❤️💯🙏🏻🐶🐶
God has put us here on earth to bless the lives of others, and you are doing an exemplary job of this Leslie❤️. So good to see both you and Jason in this video! Can't wait for the e-book recipes!!
I think it is a wonderful thing that you give time to reading God's word each day. I know it has to help you be the strong woman you are and a stabilizing factor in your life 🙏 So nice Seeing Jason being his goofy self. May God Bless you and continue to be with you as a Caregiver & a provider 🤗 I have a great deal of respect for you and only hope I could do as good of a job as you are Now. 🙏🙏🙏
Lesley I am also very accommodating! My hubby flies remote control airplanes which are always in some form of being built all over my dining room table. I also have a 6’ tall airplane leaning against my living room wall!
Love aged gouda cheese. What a loving and thoughtful couple you are through it all? Is it too late to try lion's mane mushrooms? Looking great you two❤️
I thought about you two today as I journey through life with a husband who has dementia. Today is especially difficult. My husband has misused his debt card and bad people stole money from the rental account. It's small amounts and the bank stopped his card but still...it's difficult to say no more card. He now wants to divorce me because he sees this as me being disrespectful towards him. Our 10th wedding anniversary is in 2 days, too. Real bummer. I'm frustrated at how horrible this whole thing feels. I love your attitudes and spirits. It helps me keep my chin up. God bless.
The money stuff was one of the hardest phases! You are doing your best to keep everyone safe, and sometimes they take it as you being controlling, etc. because they just don’t get it. Logic goes out the window. I wish I could tell you it gets easier, but you already know the answer to that. Sending hugs and prayers for better days. 🙏🏼❤️
Your doing great Leslie. I am trying my best to be all that I can be for my wife, as I continue to lose myself. I (we) are one of those “that understand what is going on - how hard it is becoming. We are so proud of you, and Holy Spirit brings you and Jason to mind - and we pray. “It won’t be long, now”…In His grip.
Beyond how great your videos are, both here and on "Living with Dementia", I take such comfort and encouragement from how you juggle so much as you 'make it all work'. I am only beginning to step into the 'heavy lifting' of a spouse with dementia, but you show that it's possible, that it's okay to sometimes get overwhelmed and discouraged, that the trajectory is grim but that the journey can still be enjoyed in the moment. Enormous thanks to you for being here to show us how to affirm and support our own person with dementia. Even though sometimes we all just want to crawl under a blanket and hide, you help us see that the path is a given, but how we journey that path is the thing that makes all the difference.
Lesli, my husband and I literally arranged our day around Sandra Lee. Her tablescapes were so inspiring. We truly miss her. 🎉. You’ve just brought sweet memories. I love your content. Always look forward to your videos. Thank you.

The words say it all .🙏
It amazes me how much you do. Former caregiver here…..you’re doing great!!!
Jason is awesome!! Bless your hearts! You both are so joyful!
All I can think to say is bless your heart .
Haven’t watched in a while. Just love u both. Leslie I are such a beautiful person and amazing caregiver. God bless u both.❤️🙏😊
Jason..im happy to see you buddy ❤
❤
Jason was doing his showtime on camera. He looks great and he loves to show his project. Good job Jason. Hang in there. Leslie no doubt you are tired. You need more ME time. 🙏
He is adorable!!!!
Congratulations 🎉 on the cookbook 😊
Lesley I felt like you just held my hand thank you love to Jason
It's none of my business but darn that concerns me when they want to stop his medications to for several reasons for his mental health but also you know that can't that be dangerous suddenly stopping medication? I know you know what you're doing I trust in you you're the best caregiver
Don’t worry, we are weaning it! Remember I’m an RN also. I question everything!!! Thank you for caring! ❤️
@@ACharmingAbode I trust your judgement about it over the doctors because you actuslly are a nurse and you are with him all the time.take care
Loved Sandra Lees show as well. Happy to see Jason in your video today. Thanks for bringing us along today.
OMGoodness! Refrigerator magnets for the little ones!!
Leslie, I always hit the like button right when your video comes up 😊
Ooooo dinner looks good from good chop !
Yay, a cookbook! Congratulations! I want one! 😊
I can’t wait to share it with you! ❤️😊🎉
You two are precious. Love Jason’s sense of humor and your sweet patience with him! Prayers for you both.❤
You're a doll! Love seeing the behind the scenes stuff!
So happy to see ypu back, your last video made me so sad for you BUT MUCH NEEDED. ❤❤❤
Beautiful couple…..Much love and prayers to you all❤️💯🙏🏻🐶🐶
I just love Jason’s attitude and honestly. You both rock!
God has put us here on earth to bless the lives of others, and you are doing an exemplary job of this Leslie❤️. So good to see both you and Jason in this video! Can't wait for the e-book recipes!!
My goodness I totally understand. I sometimes lay awake and think about my health cause what would happen to my husband if something happened to me.
Congrats on the cookbook!! I can't wait! Thanks so much for sharing a bit of your life/day with us. Stay blessed my friend...
Hope your doing well
Love aged gouda cheese. What a loving and thoughtful couple you are through it all? Is it too late to try lion's mane mushrooms? Looking great you two❤️
I know I will love any video this couple ( woman) provides. They are informative and design wise always worth watching. ❤.
Much love and respect to you both ... Meatballs and Cookies look delicious! And Jason - I'm all about a non-alcoholic kegerator! Great idea :)
You are amazing. Always enjoy your videos. Praying for you guys❤
God Bless you and Jason, you are a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver ❤
You are precious!! Things aren't easy and yet you are positive and radiate the love of Jesus! Well done, sweet sister
You are both amazing xxxx
I enjoy your enthusiasm, Leslie, and Jason’s humor. You brighten my day.
Lesli, my husband and I literally arranged our day around Sandra Lee. Her tablescapes were so inspiring. We truly miss her. 🎉. You’ve just brought sweet memories. I love your content. Always look forward to your videos. Thank you.
