I played couple times the rule book single player version and I think it would suit you much more. It's fast and the focus is on optimising your moves only and getting as many points as possible. You miss some of the interaction that would occur in multiplayer but it's still enjoyable.

Sadly, the cards are not on the karma games automa page, but the rules for using them still are. Seems they expect everyone to just use the app now
