Agree w everyone else; this is the best video and it puts it more into perspective. Great to see the course from this side; as a 2 time TDS finisher...I really don’t know much of the UTMB COURSE other than what it shared w TDS in 2018 and 2019. THANKS...AND BRAVO!
Awesome video. This is the first UTMB course footage that seems to capture the raw beauty of this race. I’ve seen a lot of sweeping helicopter shots of the French alps, but this video is far more impactful for me as a trail runner. ...Run the whites!
Wow!! I have watched so many RUclips videos of UTMB as I prepare to try to enter in 2020, but this is by far the best one I have seen. I struggle to see how you got some of the shots, I assume drone, as I know how hard it is to run and shoot. Thanks so much. It just reinforces why I need to do this.
Thanks! All shot with a gopro while running. It was a challenge in the rain but much easier with the better weather. It was a challenge to get the video up before running TDS - entering the lottery for UTMB next year!
Oh, my. Thank you for confirming what I already knew. UTMB is the undisputed best ultra course in the world. Worthy of being officially named the annual World Championship event. Fantastic work capturing some of the soul of this course. We see it’s spirit when we watch the live coverage of the race...
Thank you Andrew for sharing this with us. This point of view style really serves it's purpose for someone that would love to do those trails one day. BTW How many days did it took and what night stops did you choose to do ? It would be very helpful
In the meantime as a person with a brain I actually read the video description and went to Strava and understood better how you did it. Amazing ! Wish I could do it like this
Wow, what a fantastic and different perspective of the course. Do you know model of race vest Hilary is wearing please, neither the contents nor the poles are bouncing around and I want that one!

So you can run the whole course and stay at hotels along the way? Incredible way to do it.
There are mountainhuts and a few villages with hotels along the way.

А у нас на Урале и Кавказе не хуже места есть. И каждый русский это подтвердит!
Is she competing this year? Or is this just for fun?
this was just for fun after we didn't get in to the shorter events through the lottery.
did you and friends run the full UTMB 2019 course?
wonderful views..
@
You cheated a little bit, you did it in 5 days :-)
She never announced any time frame .. so.
