Just a tip to those that still lag on Twitch. Run a Twitch server test using the Twitchtest software. Every place in the world depends on different Twitch Servers. Your ISP may also limit that. Running the Twitchtest will let you know exactly how many bitrates is flowing to your particualr Twitch server. Me for example it was 5000 MAX. Which is why I picked RUclips for streams since RUclips servers in my region are NOT capped.
Hello LAS Curry I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY but living in Minnesota. As we say in NY, this video definitely got Sturdy! Thank you for helping out the stream, I’m running a Mac desktop and these tips helped me out a lot. One Luv Bro 😎
Is this ok for PC streaming? I somehow missed that this was for console set up. I just know by your eyes and voice I watched you initially to get my Kick set up a little while back, so I wanted to look at yours before I checked others
My download and upload respectively are basically 125.40 each what would be good bitrate I'm trying to at least get to 1080p because I stream on Twitch but upload edited videos from my twitch footage to RUclips and I want that at least a 1080 as well. By the way the video was very clean and straight to the point
FYI always try using your encoder over your CPU. Even if you have an AMD card. X264 is good for lower end pcs but mid to higher grade just use the graphics card. Also 6000 bitrate is fine.
Is 6,000 bitrate really fine in every situation though, youtube recommends 12 Mbps for 1080p60, so I've been debating bumping mine up lately. I've had mine at 9,000 for a while.
I don't have a specific video for PC, but I will make one as not only do you need to make a few adjustments to stream labs, but you also have to adjust your PC settings. But if your PC settings are suitable, change my settings from x264 to NVENC, and everything else stays the same
YOU MAN!!! I had been struggling to set up my stream quality to 1080p.. I thought I can't do that since I have old GPU (GTX 1070) but oh boy I was so wrong! I did it with your big help!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
For console streaming, I stream through elgato..so am I going by upload speed of my ps5 or upload speed on my pc that I have elgato connected to? My ps5 upload is below 4 and its wired but my pc and laptop have upload speeds of 30+ off of wifi and usb wifi adapter
i just trying your setting on obs and it looks much more better quality and smoother but there is a lag of about 1-2 seconds im trying to put it where the lag is very minimal is there any video that could help me with this
Quick question! On my stream labs under the advanced tab, the YUV color range only gives me 2 options. I have full or limited, not sure why partial isn't there. What should I use?
Will this work both on my ps5 (using an elgato hd60s so stream ps5) and my pc? I have a ryzen 7 5800x3d and gigabyte 3060ti. Idk if that matters but yeah just wondering cause im experiencing big time lag and frame drops
Thanks this helped a lot, also i have a gaminig pc with a 3090 gtx and wondered why my streams was looking so poorly. This video helped a lot thanks man.
Should i still use 1920x1080 if the monitor i play on is 2560x1440?...Also should i follow these setting if im playing on a really high end computer my internet kinda bad tho
My upload speed is 7.12 and it’s saying kilobits is 7120 should I use 7120 as my bitrate or stick to 3500 and should I keep my encoder to software x264 or change it to nvidia H.264(new)
If your upload is 7, then you want to do half for bitrate so 3000-3500 and x264 is what I recommned but you can test it with nvidia h.264 to see if your computer can handle it.
I’m using my laptop as my streaming device with elgato capture card and I tried everything to make my stream 1080p with no blur at 60 fps..seems impossible I even have 155 upload speed..spent hours to figure it out and still no way
@@niamh1852 Yeah it depends where you are streaming at..twitch..RUclips..twitch only allows max of 8k bitrate ..the more bitrate the better your stream looks with no blur…so setting it at like 12k your stream will disable 1080p and be force to stream at 720p also bitrate depends on how much upload speed you have..if you have 100 upload speed you are solid
@@maxumaki lol I have 8 upload speed I think that might explain it… it looked like ass even when just trying to record the capture card footage on obs tho :/
@@niamh1852 yeah that is exactly why..with that you’ll only get like less than 5000 bitrate..maybe less than that..time to look for a better internet provider 😥🥺
@@LASCurry oh okay, word, one site says I have 5 upload and the one for this video says I have 23 😭 I’ll try these methods out, appreciate your work man! 💪
If you are going to stream to Twitch, you can not go higher than that, twitch caps you out at 8k, so I recommend staying at 7750. If you plan to stream to YT then you can go as high at 50K but it not needed. 9K-14k on RUclips is more than enough.
@@TheDestinyGamez no you shouldn't have an issue it would only be an issue for viewers who have bad internet they wouldn't be able to watch at max quality
@@LASCurry I am using a Dual PC setup and I do stream with my Graphics card still, cause back in the days CPU used to be a much better resource but now with the NVEC Technology is been proven that you get better performance , unless you don't have a at least 2000 series Nvidia . for the YUV Color Range what if we dont have the "partial" option? My settings only have the options, "Limited" and "Full"?
