I have had my 8 qt Cosori for over 4 months now, and I have cooked virtually everything with it… Except brisket. That will happen soon!
Since my wife was diagnosed with cancer, I have cooked ribs, chicken, roast, beef stew, vegetables, soups, cakes , cheese cakes and almost everything else you can think of, and they have turned out “Very Good to Exceptional” … Except for two operator error’s on dishes I won’t mention here (my wife hates it when I experiment).
If you get the Cosori, I am betting you’ll love it!

I really appreciate your video. I was nervous about the thing exploding on me as I was trying to figure out what the extra seal was for. It is not mentioned in the manual! I google it and your video came up. Thanks for setting my mind at rest!

These are really nice! I got the little Cosori 2 Qt Pressure Cooker to go with my 6 & 8 Qt Instant Pots. I love it, I think you need one of the little ones too!

Thanks Michele. Well, Santa was busy. I got her a box cutter from Home Depot and she bought me two from Lowes. So that's three to lose. LOL! But now that we have you around, you can keep me in my place. If I don't have a proper box opener, then I can't film (or fear facing your wrath!). LOL!!! Yea, this cooker is kinda neato. Thank you. It's very similar to the Instant Pot and a bit cheaper. Plus they give you a glass lid and extra gasket for free that IP charges for. Even the music is the same. Too funny!!!

Hello Amy what happened to your kitchen ? New electric cooking plate ? Induction ? New dishwasher ? Hope Eric did a how to build video ?
Thanks for watching. It was time for that cooktop to go. The new one is not induction, so it will work with her anodyzed aluminum and all that. The only limitation we had is this is a downdraft model. They don't make many of them, and they cost 3x more than the regular ones. Yes, the dishwasher is new. The Frigidaire worked good when it worked and that was for 5 years. The Whirlpool Gold died under warranty and again out of warranty, so it faced a horrible death. I still have the Frigidaire in the garage. We will make a "special" video for it after making some modifications and hooking an outdoor hose up to it so I can run it in the driveway. Should be fun. The new one is an overpriced KitchenAid. It's "nice" but costs too much and has a third shelf in it that takes away from the middle one, so Amy can't wash her oversized cutting boards and plastic bins in there. That sucks. The middle rack is NOT removable, thus a pain that we won't do in the future. On the plus size, we can run it when filming as it is even quieter than the Whirlpool Gold and much quieter than the Frigidaire (even though it was reasonably quiet). The indicator lights are kinda funky. Blue = washing. Red = drying. White = finished. There. I hope I didn't leave anything out. Thanks for being very observant. We know there' s a few people out there that we can't put anything past you. LOL!!!

Yes Kathy, it comes with an extra seal and the glass lid! Both are handy to have available.
