Mine does the same thing with 38's doesn't do it with 357. Might have something to do with the 38 being a little shorter. Update if you hear back from gforce
My GForce Huckleberry 357 did it also. The cartridge stop in my rifle was not swing out towards the magazine tube far enough. When corrected the rifle cycled both 38 Special and 357 Magnum perfectly.
I just picked up one of these. It's a fun little rifle, but after the first range trip, I had to disassemble it because everything was loose to include the barrel.
I have that same shirt! Went to the after party and had a great time. I was curious about this gun as I've been wanting a tactical lever action. Thanks for the review!
@@utahrealestate.kelton it was a blast of a party. And no problem I’ll try to keep more reviews coming as we have time. Been busy with work and we have been shooting matches about every single weekend lol
It's noteworthy that it was the last round that got ejected. Maybe there's too much spring tension in the tube? Another factor could be the force at which you are cycling the rifle. Not saying you're doing it wrong, I'm saying try to be more gingerly on it to see if it resolves. Taking all these factors into consideration will help determine how to tweak it into a better rifle. Not an excuse, just trying to get to the bottom of it.
Definitely a sweet version, I have one in .410/FDE skeletonized stock,20" barrel, 7+1 rds. I do like it but I'm curious how you got your MLOK accessories attached as my Gforce Arms Lvr410 MLOK isn't actually cut out like it should be. Only a couple of the slots are usable. But yours has MLOK pieces in the slots? Now that I looked at yours closer it seems you have a newer type of handguard or it was manufactured differently than the .410 model. Still strange why they didn't cut mine out....the holes are there but no MLOK screw will work as there's nothing for the nut to grab a hold of.
I hope you will post a follow-up because Im seeing a basic 20” Huckleberry for under $500 online and want a lever gun really badly!! This makes me second guess.
I just got mine today and will be heading to the range after this Zoom meeting. I went with G Force over Henry because of the price in comparison with the included features. The 357 Henry is already overinflated but Henry is a handheld Lexus. It really depends on what your wallet can take. If you got the extra coin, go Henry. I just wanted a compliment to my revolver without ever getting a chance to realize the cost difference. I like having rifle versions of all my pistols. If something goes south, you might need modularity with what you have on hand.
@@BobC59 yeah I have a r92 in .44 magnum. The gun is great. The only downside is they made field stripping the gun a tedious process. The Rossi lever guns have come along way and I have no complaints about them. They’re much better than the huckleberry’s and $300 cheaper than a Henry, $500 cheaper than a Marlin.
These guns are not machined as precisely as they should be. The advice for a Rossi product was to take it apart and sand off any rough surfaces and perhaps replace a few springs with some lighter weight springs. I personally had to stuff a bullet partially into the chamber, for two days, to soften up the leaf spring. It was biteing my .38 special so hard that their was a bronze skid mark and little tiny flakes of jacket inside the reciever. Chances are that the tube magazine spring was meant for the largest barrel and needs to be replaced with a lighter spring. Its not hard. You just keep swapong springs until the last bullet can be fired without getting stuck in the magazine and also not being pooped out with the second to last shot.
@loganw4633 that's nice! Because I ordered one and it wasn't showing on there I wonder if it's just in the case and I need to put it on. Which isn't a problem.
