Hi JM. The OX500 unfortunately has been discontinued. Soft serve machines range in price pretty drastically and depend on whether you are looking for new or used machine, as well as the model and brand! the mix will freeze faster if you use cold water. If you pour cold mix in the hopper tanks, it will take 12 minutes. if the water is not cold, it will take 20 minutes
