Old thread, I know, but people still read it, so... If you have power folding mirrors, and start driving without putting them in open position, when you hit 20mph,the mirrors automatically fold out.
IIRC that button under night panel is a blank from the CV! I want to wire in an exhaust cut out to it and have a quiet exhaust for when I need it and loud exhaust for when I want it.
You can use it as an on/off button for add-on high beams, when you press it, it turns the add-on light on so that when you select high beam the add-ons will light up too. Second press disables them.
In the Wagon / Estste 93 you get a metal Saab Airplane in the floor of the rear boot space, which is a handle for lifting the floor up so you can access the spare wheel. You do t get this on the hatchback / saloon versions.
5:40 Don't have that in my V70, but I do have electronically adjusted seats that, with the press of a button, can also change my mirrors if I have the settings saved. So, right now, I use the 3rd setting. If I want to adjust it, I just move it and press "MEM" (Memory) and it will overwrite my last selected setting. If I press "2", however, it adjusts my mirrors downwards and my seat slightly upwards. It's my "parking setting" so to speak since I usually sit relatively low and quite far back. It's a 2006 model, though, so it's not that old, but we Swedes love our small details and driver comforts.
On my '08 SAAB 9-3 if I hold the lock button while I'm outside the car the windows roll up. And if you hold unlock they roll down. Also tons of people are going to require you show off that quirky cupholder on the dash. Additionally, the windshield wiper settings are more fine tuned than on any other car I've been in if you want to cover that
So I'm about to buy a 2008 9-3 aero 2.0.. I was wondering if you could tell me what other Saab models or years are compatible if you could.. there is a 2003 9-3 for parts 300$ an I was thinking about getting with it
Comfort windows/roof. On the convertible (I believe the Arc's and Aero's) you had the option to open and close the top including the windows. By holding the open it close button on the key fob. Variable boot space: My old 900ng and 9-3 convertible had a standard option in which you could raise the compartment where the roof actually folds in to, so you had more space. Coming home: Flick the high beam when you are parked and the low beam will turn on for 30secs. And all the little aviation hints that are included in every Saab model. Got to love those!
Great videos! I appreciate them, as I watched them to get my ECM out of my 03 9-3 Linear. Just got it back with a stage one tune. One secret feature that I can think of that you have not covered in this video, but I am sure you will in another video, is the rear lights (fog button). Next to my fog light button is another one that makes the rear taillights brighter. I find myself actually using this feature on foggy days like we are having today.
On my 2 last Saab 9-5 (2003/08) switching the fog light button 'on' makes 'one' position light at the back, the left one, getting brighter, really brighter. Great in fog.. and snow storms, here in Québec..
Seeing how nice your condition is makes me feel bad my 04 aero is probabaly headed toward the junkyard soon. I'm in love with the car after 10 years, but has way too many issues now. I can't even believe your buttons aren't peeled off. it's a very well built engine and reliable car. And fun on top of that
@@AutoAutopsy yeah. It’s not bad condition interior is good and runs fine but I just wonder who is gonna buy it as it’s really showing it’s age and needs work. I got it lowered beyond even aero specs and it’s so fun to handle and I’m gonna miss that combined the the quiet but quick acceleration it’s got.
Hi, if you turn your fog lights on while your full beam lights are on, the fog lights will follow on/off of your full beam lights. Nice to have a little extra light in the night. Also , if I press and hold the lock button on my key, the side mirrors fold in.

I dont know if you included this in your next videos: If youre on nightpanel and rev over a certain rpm ( I dont know exactly how much), the revmeter will also turn on and show you how much youre sending your aircraft
No related to the video content, the Turbo X has a vacuum leak, when you were showing the side mirror tilt feature you can hear the vacuum pump kicking in and out
We were wondering what the noise behind the passenger headlight was.... thanks as we just got this car and didn't even have to search 🙃 6:00 is where you can hear it for those wondering 👍
I think there is a feature that no one called and I'm not sure if it's a real feature or mine is just kind of broken... When I put the wipers on the slowest interval and touch the lever with just a slight push (no clicking) the wipers do a single turn. If the lever is faulty, then this fault is pretty useable :D
There’s the small pockets on the front of the driver and passenger seat, the centre arm rest slides forwards (on some models) and the CD player can play mp3 cds

I know this has been out for a bit but you mentioned the hidden features on the Saab, the option about the horizontal line on the key fob, if you hit that bottom and then the unlock button it will roll down the windows and the sunroof. I believe it is called the hot weather feature. If this has been mentioned before disregard this comment. I enjoy your tutorials. Nice work.

Bluetooth phone hookup. Depending on year & country, you could have OnStar, XM, & bluetooth in certain combinations. I think cars with built-in navigation had some voice commands for that too.
On the earlier 03-06 9-3's, the mid-level radio (that you installed). You can go through a settings menu and select a genre of music to listen to. It will scan FM to find stations with that coding and stop at the first one. Kinda nifty, but really only if you're on a long roadtrip and the channel broadcasts the data. The clock can also be set via RDS instead of manually.
The button on the dashboard with a Line. Can be activated with a Tech2 and then an auxillary 12 V outlet beside the battery. The outlet will follw egen activated full beam of your head lights during night Times. This is for installing extra lights in the front. The 12 V outlet is already on a fuse check the owners manual. So just install the extra head lights, activate the button with a Tech2.
Here’s a feature I don’t think anyone has mentioned, yet? SAHR, which stands for Saab active head restraints, which is a mechanism built into the front seats of most 9-3’s and I think 9-5’s. It is designed to protect against whiplash in the event of a rear end collision.
Ok, but what is it? Is it activated upon impact? Like the headrest moves forward? Lol I have no clue.. Cause my headrests don't move up or down at all no matter how much strength I have. It's like they're stuck...even though the button is pressed and I'm pulling on headrest.
I have it with 220000 miles. Just a regular oil change, take care of turbo and there is no leaks or oil consumption, 9,5 litre of gasoline for 60 miles
I'm looking into purchasing a Saab 9.4 lineage it's a 2004. However it won't start it gives me an error message that says immobilizing error which I understand to be possibly the key fob that might need to be replaced. I wanted to know if you could give me some advice about this car and how I might be able to bypass this key fob problem in order to be able to drive the vehicle and see how it runs it is a manual 5-speed and it's been sitting for about a year I just recently got out of a money pit and I'm looking to purchase another car when I ran into this one however I'm unfamiliar with this vehicle and after watching your videos on the 9.3 and the 9.5 I thought you might be able to give me some advice. Any feedback you could give me would be much appreciated thank you and by the way love your channel
After having driven a 2002 9-3 for 6 years, I sold it and got a 2004 9-3 Aero convertible. The old one had a regular key but the newer Saab had a electrical thingy. As the dashboard has a normal lock I thought I was missing a regular key that should come with the car. After a few days I found out where the regular key was hidden - made me feel a bit stupid though :)
Don't know if it's been posted but the aux buttons are for the convertible. On the dash it's the flip switch for top and on key it's the alarm, hold for 3-5 sec
You know another thing I thought was odd about my 2011 Turbo4 (maybe not all that uncommon but new to me) is that it has a single rear fog light in the drivers side tail lights. In fact, the passenger side compartment for the light doesn't even have a bulb, its just a dummy piece for symmetry.
I have the same car--been told several times that my right side reverse light is out. Had to explain every time it's a quirk with Saabs. Always a puzzled look afterwards.
The "---" -button is for extra lights only, there is a socket in engine bay where you can connect extra lights into. This socket gets power only when using high beam after pressing the "---" -button. It woud be cool if the button could also be used for other purposes.
I have an '03 Vector. It is a phenomenal car, but recently the ABS and Traction Stability lights came on. I know next to nothing about vehicles. Is this hard or expensive to fix? My cruise no longer works as a consequence. Also, sometimes when closing the sunroof, it gets 3/4 of the way shut and then reopens. Any ideas?
One you didn't mention. The Saab automatic doesn't need to have a 'Sport' button to adjust where it shifts. To me it seems that it adjusts when it shifts based on where the accelerator pedal is. Floored will take you right to the red line; down but not all the way, it will shift at a higher rpm; and if you're just accelerating slowly the shift will be early and smooth. I have a button on my '08 but it just causes the car to use a lower gear.
I was believed to understand that Saab autos learn how you drive for so many miles iirc you can reset it by holding down the throttle so long after that it picks up your driveing style ie ploddingaround or heavy footed I'll have to check or someone can correct me as I did have a VECTOR Tid now a TTID 6spd2 manual.great cars for the money drives great no rattles etc
Did you know that your dashboard backlight can auto adjust the brightness depending on the ambient light? Some models have light sensors in the indoor light cluster. The backlight will be brighter during daytime and dimmer during night time.
The extra button at 7:50 is really good for wiring up extra lights and stuff due to it is so dark here in Sweden. Saab has had this button so far as I know since the 99.
The air conditioning also works for inside the arm rest, good for keeping your juice etc cool, it also works the same with heaters, so is good for keeping a hot snack warm if you want to keep it for a while, or are in a hurry, the auxiliary switch will work when used, but just to let you know the connection for it is either inside or on the back of the arm rest, I can't remember exactly were but it is definitely one of the two places mentioned, The flat line on the key fob is known as and named by Saab as the "find my car button", Finally can anyone let me know if it is actually possible to turn up the boost on my 9-3 by disconnecting the waste gate from the turbo, and turning the waste gate I think clockwise for 3 full turns actually works, I have read about this, but have never seen anyone actually do it, and have read also that doing it can F,.k the turbo, any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Old thread, I know, but people still read it, so...
If you have power folding mirrors, and start driving without putting them in open position, when you hit 20mph,the mirrors automatically fold out.
IIRC that button under night panel is a blank from the CV! I want to wire in an exhaust cut out to it and have a quiet exhaust for when I need it and loud exhaust for when I want it.
that would be a perfect thing to put there! Would love to do that on mine
You can use it as an on/off button for add-on high beams, when you press it, it turns the add-on light on so that when you select high beam the add-ons will light up too. Second press disables them.
On my way to pick up my 2003 9-3. It’s amazing to see your posts. Thank you. 💪
nice! hope you enjoy it
Just noticed today my 9-5 has "anti- misting" rear windows. Never noticed the vents before. Got that on the 9-3?
i don't believe so
In the Saab 9000 you actually had electric fans in the rear doors.
Or to just warm your gloves up in winter :D
that too!
In the Wagon / Estste 93 you get a metal Saab Airplane in the floor of the rear boot space, which is a handle for lifting the floor up so you can access the spare wheel. You do t get this on the hatchback / saloon versions.
yeah, cool little quirk!
I have that, just learned what it was this year lol
👍🏼👍🏼
On my '08 SAAB 9-3 if I hold the lock button while I'm outside the car the windows roll up. And if you hold unlock they roll down. Also tons of people are going to require you show off that quirky cupholder on the dash. Additionally, the windshield wiper settings are more fine tuned than on any other car I've been in if you want to cover that
nice! thanks for the input
So I'm about to buy a 2008 9-3 aero 2.0.. I was wondering if you could tell me what other Saab models or years are compatible if you could.. there is a 2003 9-3 for parts 300$ an I was thinking about getting with it
But separate buys not from same person
Comfort windows/roof.
On the convertible (I believe the Arc's and Aero's) you had the option to open and close the top including the windows. By holding the open it close button on the key fob.
Variable boot space:
My old 900ng and 9-3 convertible had a standard option in which you could raise the compartment where the roof actually folds in to, so you had more space.
Coming home:
Flick the high beam when you are parked and the low beam will turn on for 30secs.
And all the little aviation hints that are included in every Saab model. Got to love those!
Thanks for the suggestions! Much appreciated
The light button you pushed on the Key, hold it down and it sets off the alarm. Pretty cool
Yep
Would also be a "Follow me home" function which can be engaged from inside the car as well.
Saab 9-3 will always be the most beautiful car ever made to me 🥹🥲 she’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside ❤
that "line" button is good for extra lights in sweden its dark at winter
That’s what I’ve been told!
Yep it’s pretty useful! 😁
On my 2 last Saab 9-5 (2003/08) switching the fog light button 'on' makes 'one' position light at the back, the left one, getting brighter, really brighter. Great in fog.. and snow storms, here in Québec..
how many miles on your saab? was thinking of getting the tune - im @ 140. trying to decide if it's still worth getting.
Did you know that the top of the centre consul slides forward so you can rest your arm on it in a more comfortable position
Yep! Does it a little too frequently and easily though
Until you break too hard and it flies off never to be reattached 😐
Mine doesn’t 😡 I knew they did cause my dads does
Seeing how nice your condition is makes me feel bad my 04 aero is probabaly headed toward the junkyard soon. I'm in love with the car after 10 years, but has way too many issues now. I can't even believe your buttons aren't peeled off. it's a very well built engine and reliable car. And fun on top of that
i would sell it someone who can fix it instead of junking it; fewer and fewer of these cars on the road every day!
@@AutoAutopsy yeah. It’s not bad condition interior is good and runs fine but I just wonder who is gonna buy it as it’s really showing it’s age and needs work. Stuff like leaks oil, flex pipe is busted, fuel sensor doesn’t work, passenger window doesn’t go down, paint missing on back bumper and front lip broken, ac broken. And bunch of other little things. I got it lowered beyond even aero specs and it’s so fun to handle and I’m gonna miss that combined the the quiet but quick acceleration it’s got.
Oh! Saab 9-3!
Jest najlepszy!
Pozdrawiam wszystkich fanów SAAB!
huh
Hi, if you turn your fog lights on while your full beam lights are on, the fog lights will follow on/off of your full beam lights. Nice to have a little extra light in the night. Also , if I press and hold the lock button on my key, the side mirrors fold in.
nice! good tip :)
I have a 2019 9-3 that suddenly wont start or turn over. Computer engine module was checked and supposedly reprogrammed. Ive been told now it maw by a steering wheel module that isnt reacting to the Fob? Do you have knowledge of this? Anything would help. Thanks.
I’ve owned Saab 2.8t Sport Estate for 8 years. I don’t drive much but it’s the best car ever, the faster the better. After buying it I didn’t realise I had subwoofer in the boot for about a year when I got flat tire 😂 I was looking for a car with loads of buttons and got one. Best car I ever had
haha nice
I dont know if you included this in your next videos: If youre on nightpanel and rev over a certain rpm ( I dont know exactly how much), the revmeter will also turn on and show you how much youre sending your aircraft
yep! cool feature
Any of the gauges will come back if needed. For example when fuel is low or temperature is high.
No related to the video content, the Turbo X has a vacuum leak, when you were showing the side mirror tilt feature you can hear the vacuum pump kicking in and out
Good call mine cycles but not as often as that,
good to know; i'll look into it
We were wondering what the noise behind the passenger headlight was.... thanks as we just got this car and didn't even have to search 🙃 6:00 is where you can hear it for those wondering 👍
I think there is a feature that no one called and I'm not sure if it's a real feature or mine is just kind of broken... When I put the wipers on the slowest interval and touch the lever with just a slight push (no clicking) the wipers do a single turn. If the lever is faulty, then this fault is pretty useable :D
I have same type of ,,feature,, 😀😀😀😀
interesting, thanks
Yep, mine too .... really sensitive
hahahaha
I've had my Saab for 12 years now, and watching your video I ony just found out about the keyfob button that turns on the lights. Amaaazing
😁🙌🏼
There’s the small pockets on the front of the driver and passenger seat, the centre arm rest slides forwards (on some models) and the CD player can play mp3 cds
Good advice! I just filmed part 2 the other day and it’ll be up on Saturday. I included most of those in there
Where do you find that cup
Holder. I have a 2003 9-3. There appears to be a piece missing and it is a. Wry black sticky substance on either side of that Opposite of the parking brake
I linked the video where I installed it at the time I was talking about it! Go click that pop out and you can find the website in the description of that video.
I'm suprised you didn't click the side mirrors folding button when you showed the buttons for adjusting the mirror angle.
I bought a second hand today and i pressed it and side mirrors folded, i was surprised a bit lol
Nice. Power folding mirrors were not an option in the US unfortunately, which is why I didn’t show it. :( Super envious of that!!
The best trick when you have guests in your car that don’t know much about cars is to whip out the radio panel cup holder
lol!
Why does my saab 93 has a telephone call icon the supposely accept calls but there is no aux or Bluetooth thing and in fm transmiter does not work? Saab from 2005
i've never really looked into it on mine personally. as far as i know, they do nothing
Had my 9-3 for 6 months and didn't realise this was needed for reverse.. always thought switching to reverse was a bit clunky and obviously this is why. You think I've done any damage forcing the gear stick this way?
yikes....quite possible.
Hi the cup holder is very neat on transmission cover ! Where can I get one from please ? I live in U.K.
thanks 😊
I linked the video in the top corner when I mentioned it. If you go to that video you can find a link to buy it.
Trans is inversed, so it would be under hood.
Here's a feature that's only in the convertibles.
If you drop the top and take the back seat out you can carry tall objects like a fridge.
lol
Great video for Saab family - stay blessed💚
😁🙌🏼
Much appreciated for this video...Love Saabs, no matter vintage or modern!! Don't have any SAAB but o realised that you are doing great and constructive thing...
♥️♥️SAAB♥️♥️ for life!!
Thank you!
The glovebox AC is def a cool idea! I feel like a lot of euro cars do that. My c300 had a little vent hole inside too
oh cool!
Hi, a quick question
Will 225/50/17 tyres fit on my 17'' rims? I have a 2007 1.9 diesel linier and currently it has 215/50/17 tyres.
Yeah they’ll fit. I run 225/45/18 on my car and it’s lowered
@@AutoAutopsy Hi, thanks so much, I have spent so much time already researching on this with no avail.
Your car looks absolutely beautiful I love subs I used to drive a Saab 9000 carlsson with the full body kit and big bumpers and cross spoke wheels I miss that car so bad can't believe I sold it years ago to buy a stupid 5 Series
hello
i really enjoy watching your videos on the saabs.i had a question you might know
is it a common issue that you would see manual gearbox leaking from the inner cv joint?thank you
I wouldn’t say it’s common. I would advise posting about this on a saab Facebook group
Thank you
Are you sure its gearbox leakage? Most common is on B207 the vacuum pump and also the power steering pump have leak.
7:56 press and hold the button around 5 seconds and you will see another feature
lol
What size wheels are those? I’m wanting to get a 9-3 and build it
Turn of your engine take out the key open the door, flash the high beam once and the "follow me home lights" turns on! But you probaly knows this already.. (sorry for my bad english)
just uploaded a part 2 and i included this; thanks for the suggestion
Great video! May I ask where you got the tire and wheel package for your Turbo X?
Where can I buy the support for the 9:05 minute bottle please?
See this video: ruclips.net/video/tuVHxJ7h_Jw/видео.html
That is awesome! I have a SAAB 9-3 2006 mod 120HK 1,9 TiD Diesel station wagon with original engine, I am so jealous of your SAABs! They are so cool! I really wanna customize mine but that sort of thing is expensive in Norway
it's expensive here too! lol
Nice work.
yep!! thanks for the comment
Huh, rather than holding unlock?
What are the wheel trims on the standard 93? They're fantastic!
Maybe programmable, but if I hold down the "extra" button with a line on the key fob, the alarm goes off.
yep
the emergency trunk pull is made of completely glow in the dark plastic, and just a half a second of light eposure makes it glow for quite a long time
Pretty awesome science!
Maybe do a video on the instrument panel. I can't figure how and what the phone button does as well as connectibility of that..TP etc.. what are these?
I LOVE my 9-3. As soon as you sit in it you know it's quality.. and it screams
It doesn’t work to my knowledge :/
Bluetooth phone hookup. Depending on year & country, you could have OnStar, XM, & bluetooth in certain combinations.
I think cars with built-in navigation had some voice commands for that too.
On the earlier 03-06 9-3's, the mid-level radio (that you installed). You can go through a settings menu and select a genre of music to listen to. It will scan FM to find stations with that coding and stop at the first one. Kinda nifty, but really only if you're on a long roadtrip and the channel broadcasts the data. The clock can also be set via RDS instead of manually.
Never knew! I’ll have to search for that function
Yep, exactly what i was thinking/saying lol!
What make and model are those bronze rims??? I have to know!!!
Here’s a feature I don’t think anyone has mentioned, yet? SAHR, which stands for Saab active head restraints, which is a mechanism built into the front seats of most 9-3’s and I think 9-5’s. It is designed to protect against whiplash in the event of a rear end collision.
Ah yes! Good one 👍🏼
Ok, but what is it? Is it activated upon impact? Like the headrest moves forward? Lol I have no clue.. Cause my headrests don't move up or down at all no matter how much strength I have. It's like they're stuck...even though the button is pressed and I'm pulling on headrest.
Is it reliable? The 2.0t? Any common problem with oil consumption or liquid leak how good it it ith around 160,000miles on it?
Any feedback you could give me would be much appreciated thank you and by the way love your channel
thanks! you won't be able to bypass the key issue. it will need to be fixed before getting driven
After having driven a 2002 9-3 for 6 years, I sold it and got a 2004 9-3 Aero convertible. The old one had a regular key but the newer Saab had a electrical thingy. As the dashboard has a normal lock I thought I was missing a regular key that should come with the car.
After a few days I found out where the regular key was hidden - made me feel a bit stupid though :)
haha
What alloys are they on the older gen 9-3??
Sport edition p3
I just bought a 1999 saab 9-3 in AZ that won't start. I think it needs a new twice module. Do you do repairs on Saabs?
Hey, pretty sure I responded to your IG DM
how can you open the hood latch when it’s broken? I’ve tried and can’t get it to open
You might need to take it to a shop. You’d need to remove the front grille and undo it manually from there
where do you get your parts for your 9-3? im having a hard time finding a speed sensor and how to replace it
see this video for some detailed info on parts: ruclips.net/video/ARVbmaQ7Dn8/видео.html
Don't know if it's been posted but the aux buttons are for the convertible. On the dash it's the flip switch for top and on key it's the alarm, hold for 3-5 sec
cool stuff!
Always a puzzled look afterwards.
do the 2008 ice block tail lights for the 93 also fit on the 2007??
How do you get your sunroof to look like that?
I’m not sure what you mean. It’s all factory.
@@AutoAutopsy At 3:41 I see it elevated from the back, but I tried to get that look with my Aero and it just retracted below the roof.
The "---" -button is for extra lights only, there is a socket in engine bay where you can connect extra lights into. This socket gets power only when using high beam after pressing the "---" -button. It woud be cool if the button could also be used for other purposes.
It can. I’ve hooked up an airhorn to it 😁
@@HelloCrash 😀 Working when using high beam only?
nice!
What wheel and tire sizes are you running?
19x8.5. tires are 235's
@@AutoAutopsy thank you, I like your wheel choice. Congrats on the house!
What are the rims on that second 9-3??
Уловил местами суть. Без переводчика сложно,не супер ваш язык учил. Но за кнопку на брелке с подсветкой габаритов - спасибо.
Will you do a video describing these features on a 2006 Aero 9.3 convertible?
It’s essentially the same as this…
What are the wheels on the fwd car from?
Sport Edition P3
I have an '03 Vector. It is a phenomenal car, but recently the ABS and Traction Stability lights came on. I know next to nothing about vehicles. Is this hard or expensive to fix? My cruise no longer works as a consequence. Also, sometimes when closing the sunroof, it gets 3/4 of the way shut and then reopens. Any ideas?
I'd get the car scanned by someone locally with a tech2. they could better help you diagnose your issues
The ice scraper has neat measurements on it so it doubles as a tire-thread measurer aswell, super nifty.
👍🏼👊🏼
One you didn't mention. The Saab automatic doesn't need to have a 'Sport' button to adjust where it shifts. To me it seems that it adjusts when it shifts based on where the accelerator pedal is. Floored will take you right to the red line; down but not all the way, it will shift at a higher rpm; and if you're just accelerating slowly the shift will be early and smooth. I have a button on my '08 but it just causes the car to use a lower gear.
Yeah, that's exactly what sport mode is lol!
2006 saab 9-3 is my first car. Its pretty good. Lookin forward to this series man
thanks!
Do you think the line button could be used for underglow?
possibly
Did you know that your dashboard backlight can auto adjust the brightness depending on the ambient light? Some models have light sensors in the indoor light cluster. The backlight will be brighter during daytime and dimmer during night time.
The extra button at 7:50 is really good for wiring up extra lights and stuff due to it is so dark here in Sweden. Saab has had this button so far as I know since the 99.
If I remember correctly It is some kind of sport mode on automatictransmission.
Yeah I’ve heard a lot use it for lights!
I have a secondary air pump code what too do I checked fuses . I need too check lines and pump huh? Somebody help
Search forums and google, you’ll find detailed answers. Depends on if you have 2.0 or 2.8.
What wheels are these and also how much have you lowered it by?
lowered a couple of inches on variant xenon wheels
The air conditioning also works for inside the arm rest, good for keeping your juice etc cool, it also works the same with heaters, so is good for keeping a hot snack warm if you want to keep it for a while, or are in a hurry, the auxiliary switch will work when used, but just to let you know the connection for it is either inside or on the back of the arm rest, I can't remember exactly were but it is definitely one of the two places mentioned, The flat line on the key fob is known as and named by Saab as the "find my car button", Finally can anyone let me know if it is actually possible to turn up the boost on my 9-3 by disconnecting the waste gate from the turbo, and turning the waste gate I think clockwise for 3 full turns actually works, I have read about this, but have never seen anyone actually do it, and have read also that doing it can F,.k the turbo, any advice on this would be much appreciated.
i didn't know that, cooL! and no, you'd probably need a tune to safely turn up boost. but idk
