- Timelapse of me transforming this desert village into a desert oasis! With salt flats, palm trees using new 1.16 blocks, aqueduct farms, etc! Hope this helps with some inspiration for you!!

Snowy villages are so beautiful. They are a piece of art with the way the logs are put in there to add some pattern to the structures.

Oddly enough, one of my favorite things to do in villages (if I'm moving into the area) is to upgrade their farms. Make them a little bigger, a little more efficient, and give them decent lighting to help reduce mob spawns and improve crop growth. I think I like doing that because it's an easy way to feel like I'm improving the villager's lives, before the major renovations begin. Roomier animal pens w/ small shelters and water troughs and the odd shade tree and lighting for the critters are also a must-do for me.
That’s a very interesting use of granite, I never actually thought of using them for roofs, great work as always!
Idk why but desert themed buildings are one of my favorites, losing just to Gothic and dark fantasy themes

This would make a good hide and seek map or block hunt. Also, Salt Flats are large flat places the don’t differ in elevation with salt, dead animals and extent for hundreds of feet here at The Great Salt Lake.

I totally loved it, great work. The addition of the mating villagers in the flyover was a nice touch. I love how you used the kelp, melons, and even groups of crafting tables. My worlds are always minimal and utilitarian but I love what you are able to accomplish.

ever thought of making an abandoned town? I always hear you talk about movement in the villages you make, so an abandoned one with no traces of life or movement seems like an interesting task.
I think she already did one? I believe it’s called zombie village transformation
For ideas for agricultural fields for a desert town you could always add a small river that irrigates some groves of date palms, citrus, or olives
I know I'm insanely late in commenting on this amazing transformation, but I think you did one heck of a transformation on the desert village! Maybe you could try transforming an abandoned desert village next, or just any other kind of abandoned village 'cause I know you did one on an abandoned taiga village, which I thought was very, very impressive! I myself don't usually build very large structures in Minecraft, but I have wanted to do my own transformation of most, if not all of Minecraft's various structures. Anyways, keep up the amazing work! You're doing a phenomenal job, in my opinion! Have a nice one!

Ancient debris make excellent palm trees! It's just that survival players will twitch a bit XD
1, the village really reminds me of Peruvian architecture, which looks absolutely amazing, especially with the shaders, and 2, yes, that is what salt flats look like. Usually, they are a little more flat (haha), but the general idea is there.
It does make sense that dessert village houses would have a fire place in their homes since the nights in deserts are acually VERY cold

I don't really comment on videos but I just wanted this to get out there, my mom recently died from a stroke, and was later cremated and that all happened under one week; pretty big adjusting period for me and my dad, this is the first minecraft video I've watched since my moms passing and honestly, your voice just gave me peace and made me wind down a little; thank you for the incredible content and keep up the good work :)))
The transformation of the village is fantastic! Like I have mentioned before (I think) I really love the way you build Gem. Also when you showed us the village with shaders on the world it looked like it came right out of a book. The different details and the way you decorate to suit the biome and where the village is located is great! I love it!💛🌷
This is so inspiring! Normally I just fix up little imperfections in the land and structures but never do that. For the palm trees I might use stripped oak or stripped birch for the color of the trunk of the palm. I love it!

I saw this thumbnail on Google and thought it looked really inspirational. Go figure it's one of the hermitcraft gang lol. I'd never even thought of granite for desert builds in any capacity beyond flooring. Definitely stealing the palate for your roofs if not the exact shapes.
Y’know what would be an amazing type of naturally-generating structure? Desert village ruins with an... altered desert temple in the center. Basically, it would be like the ruins of an ancient settlement that had a cult that worshipped the end dimension. There would be some small touches to distinguish it from the usual ruined desert village, Endstone bricks making up parts of the ruins, a defunct nether portal, and maybe even an endermite spawner. I’d build it myself but I feel like it would be cooler as a generated structure. that way each one you found would be a surprise
