As a Braves fan I think Olson and Murphy have been more disappointing than Riley. Riley was heating up before the injury and played amazing defense all year
Huge Braves fan. This has to be most frustrating season I can remember So many injuries. Strider, Acuna, Albies, Murphy, Harris, Minter. Plus Fried and Lopez have up and down Biggest disappointment has been Olson. Just when he starts getting into a groove, he falls apart. Next weekend's series w/ the Mets will likely be the deciding factor in if they make the playoffs.
Odd enough last year, and start of this year, I called the Jays being like this. They just screamed the 22017-2018 Orioles. While it hasnt been that bad, but the similarities from the eye test was just there for someone as an O's fan who's seen it before. With the rotation they had, and the talent on the field, this shoulda been a better team. I feel Miami belongs on this list. They were pegged to be a playoff team again, and fell apart.
I knew my White Sox would have a bad year but this is ridiculous! You could double their win total and they are still like 7 games out of 4th! I am snickering though at all the "experts" who said the AL central was the worst division in baseball, LOL.
I'm surprised the AL Central isn't the worst division in baseball, and I'm a Tigers fan that also appreciates the White Sox (a majority of my family are White Sox fans)
for 2 1/2 months before he got hurt Riley's OPS was Pushing 900. Ohter than a bad 6 weeks Austin has been pretty much on par with his career production. He is a very good but not superstar third baseman. Given the injuries the braves haven't disapointed at all...and if they manage to get in the dance and they get AR and OA back with their pitching anything can happen
Dude I’ve been done with Gleyber Torres the last few years. He’s inconsistent with the bat, lacks effort in certain plays, and is in the bottom half of the league defensively. Cashman was absolute shit at the trade deadline pitching wise, but Jazz has proven to be a great fit in pinstripes. I hope the Yanks don’t sign Gleyber, put Perazza or Cabrera at 2B/3B, and put Jazz wherever he feels most comfortable!
You're on crack dude...Austin Riley was his way to a 5 bWAR season before he got hurt. He also hit the bulk of his homers in June, July and August. He got hurt early in the year that likely affected him early in the season (oblique injury)
Do any of the mentioned players keep studying and keep conditioning themselves after their seasons over? Just by looking at some of the players, they look like they indulge themselves in foods that they like

Yeah Riley was starting to turn the corner and then got hit in wrist/hand and was done for the yr.
As a braves fan myself, I can definitely agree. Arcia has also been awful.
I mean Olson has been hot lately. He’s almost up to his average stats
Lowkey, it might be Acuña. He looked like 2022 Acuña (slightly above average player) before the injury, when we needed MVP play

thanks for the wild card spot, with love from the Mets
Dansby. Swanson. Although he's picked it up once it didn't matter anymore.
as a yankees fan i would debate volpe or verdugo have been more disappointing than torres.

So disappointed in the Ms. To waste this good of a pitching staff is just so frustrating
Most Met fans are done with pop up Pete Alonso.
How about Edwin Diaz 20 million a year for .3 war
Dodgers' injuries in their rotation have been disappointing
To be fair to Gleyber, he’s been crushing since All Star break. Clay tho? Yeah, he actually smells.
Couldn’t have spoken sooner about Jrod 😂😭
As a former Boston Redsox fan now Os fan
I can’t wait to see the Os beat the Yankees
I’m sure the White Sox’s and their fans can’t wait till September is over lol

As a pirate fan don't forget the awful season kebryan Hayes is having
Orioles have been the most disappointing team, so far!
