I wish I went to Brown and saw you but I went to ucsf with Dr Ames and had anterior posterior or interbody fusion and lost all quality of life . This was 2016 and he tried a “new technique “ on me and now I live with a collapsed spine feeling every day😢
I have scoliosis where my whole upper body is above one leg. Thinking about spinal deformity surgery. In your opinion is it worth the risk. I would T4 to pelvis fusion. The doctor mentioned a cage.
I have developed adult scoliosis. And it came on rather quickly. Before that I had developed arthritis in my lower spinal column pelvic area. I would go to bed and when I got up, I wouldn't be able to stand up straight because of the muscles in that area being super tight. After I moved around and warmed up, It would pass and I could stand up straight. But it eventually developed Into it not going away. So my question is - Is there a surgery that could correct my spinal curvature? (Despite the fact that I have the arthritic condition?) And what does smoking have to do with being a candidate for Spinal surgery? Thank you for listening I look forward to talking to you in The near future!😊
You are a master at your craft! You did mine in 20 and I have had no issues so far! Thank you again!
