The only thing LD excels at is importance of titles and head-to-head comparisons. However, on a match-2-match basis LCW is clearly the more enjoyable player to watch. His elegance of motion is unsurpassed. If you ask me, he even moves smoother than Federer.
Themba Mabona qualities of Lin Dan are mainly anticipation... his agility and physical prowess are on a class of its own.. That's y he has won all those titles

However, I don't think his nerves are not as strong as LD's and his shots are not as deceptive as the Chinese Master's. Both are highly enjoyable to watch. I just would hold that the overall aesthetics of LCW's Badminton poetry is higher ;)

Most people neglect mental toughness, either because they hate to admit that LCW has very weak mental strength, or they simply think that is not at all important. However, mentality precedes all. If I hold up Chen Long's and LCW's resumes for any major world class event, I would definitely choose the former one because I can have 100% confidence in Chen Long that he can perform well under pressure and get the job done. With LCW, I'd say he would probably stand a 50-60% chance of winning a major.

Dunno if you talk of Jorgensen or Korean son wan oh. Both are " rally player" make opponent going around the court. Jorgensen solid top 5 during 5 years of ld and lcw. Son wan oh had one great year where he was world number one.
