I can't stop listening to this tune. THIS is music! I love the Finn Brothers, and Neil once again didn't disappoint. The Finn Brothers are a couple of the most underrated musicians out there.

Neil and the boys seem to reinvent crowded house every album. No exception here. This and whatever you want are pure genius. Of course having Mitchel in the band never hurts.
5 decades later and Mr Finn ( my biggest inspiration) is just getting better and better and constantly reinventing himself for the better. How many other icons have nestled away under the radar and become obsolete to where everything Neil puts himself to get better and better. It's quite astonishing really, this man does not write bad music. If it gets your foot tapping it's a winner

Start off with Prefab Sprout’s (Paddy’s band) song, “Appetite” or “When Love Breaks Down” or “Wild Horses”. Those are the songs that got me hooked on Prefab Sprout. On “Appetite”, Paddy basically writes a pop song about a baby’s natural desires & appetites-hence the name of the track. Prefab Sprout’s second album, Steve McQueen, is considered a masterpiece, produced by the one and only Thomas Dolby. In my opinion, all their records are masterpieces to me. Enjoy the ride with Prefab!!! They’re my favorite band of all time, with XTC, as a close second.

Thanks for the great concert last night. For years I've been disappointed about not being able to make it to Farewell to the World tour. So nothing was going to stop me attending last night in Christchurch and then to find out it was the first of the new tour made it even more special.
Neil, 6 decades of constant brilliance AND stateside radio play. Just drove to the store during rush hour in Bozeman Montana and the big rock station here just played To The Island. What an awesome surprise. I cranked it and it sounded perfect following the Chili peppers. This could be a huge comeback, haven’t heard a new CH song on the radio for a few decades. Fingers crossed this is as big as it should be here. Come play Montana! You’re on the radio!!! 👏🏻

Cheers from Germany - Love Finns / CHs music for almost four decades now. This song is - like all the others Finn wrote - so lovely and wonderful. I guess the motiv/picture to that song was again painted by Nick Seymour (does anybody know that?). Still love my T-shirt with the "Time on earth" album cover on it, that he also painted (he`s not only a wonderful musician, bus also a great painter in my eyes). This is the best track Neil has done since Time on earth. Its so relevant, they are having fun and the chorus is already sacred to me. The verse bridges the gap perfectly between the choruses.
This ticks all the boxes. Beautiful Finn imprint all over it, and integrating the 'new' members into the band. Many will argue that we all needed a classic CH song/album after all the almost experimental daliances of Neil's solo career (which I've always loved and respected!) and this will surely satiate your appetite. Dreamers Are Waiting is a wonderful album. And Liam??......well at the Auckland show on Saturday night he and Elroy absolutely shone!!! It's such a delight to have something to shout about once more!!!

What I really like about these new CH songs is that they are really fresh & different. They are a nice new direction for Neil but without them going into like hip hop or full on trance!! I was really happy when I heard Liam was joining - he’s a real talent and he seems to light a creative spark with Neil.

The album is a slow burner,but the more you listen to it the better it gets, and after such a long career that's saying something.👍Great songs.
