Literally the main downside of Pyro Traveller is the 18 sec cd, and reltively short uptime . As well as the constellations, I know its not much but please Hoyo let their C6 have the ranged pryo blade NA. That was one of the coolest parts in the boss fight.
Im still salty they made such a good kit for traveler and made it boss exclusive, we waited for multiple patches just to get a watered down kit for regular gameplay.

One thing that wasn’t covered is Pyro MC’s usability in Burgeon compilations… in my opinion makes them Equivalent or Higher in value to Dendro MC in ranking as triggering the powerful Burgeon Reaction is a priority in doing fast damage output du to the ~1 second proc intervals of the tap cast mode.

i feel like it was worth mentioning that one of the bonus of geo traveler is how it counts as a construct, so it synergizes well with Chiori who is a great geo sub-dps
I actually use Geo Traveler as my main DPS. Crystalize grants a pretty powerful shield and the low CD of meteor is useful for platforming and dropping quick and heavy dmg. I pair with Barbara and Dendro bunny for lots of healing.

Only if you want to savrifice Mavuikas massive damage. Personally my PMC is my Mavuika support paired with Furina so she buffs my Mavuika and Furinas damage.

You get more value from just using Mavuikas burst to Vaporize with Codex then switching to Mualani instead of using Scroll on mavuika and nerfing her potential. PMC here buffs Pyro and Hydro making Mavuika and Mualani stronger for fast kills.
I also agreed the ranking because it seemed accurate to me, and friend tells me dendro traveler was the best choice before the pyro traveler is released

3:58 dendro traveler isn’t just good because the dendro reactions are good. He’s good because he’s literally the best at applying consistent dendro off field besides Nahida. And for nilou bloom where you want two consistent dendro appliers, he’s the best option to pair with Nahida because of his consistent uptime, application, energy regeneration, low investment need, etc. his usefulness will definitely fade when another better 5 star dendro applicator is added but he will still remain the best f2p option.

my only downside with pyro mc is i want the when opposing constellation active outside i like the c6 sending flaming waves but no we have meh ones looks like ill have to wait until cryo mc comes out and hope there skills are nice or else im crowning anemo traveller since i don't really like any of the other elements. i have c5 pyro and take c1 the weekly you get atk increased by 40% and take 40% less damage and interruption resistance increased i would take that constellation over what we got 6% damage and additional 9% if you have nightsoul blessing.
You know what funny im a free to play i got 600 premo gems enough for around 4 or 5 wishing stars right But add up with what i had i have 16 wishes stars i rolled on the mavika baner.... I got mavika. With one roll i just uploaded tha game im so happy

Pyro traveler has two types of constellations - one just for the weekly boss and one for the overworld. To unlock the ones for the overworld, you need to activate the blazing flint ore (at where Capitano is sitting in Ochkanatlan)
Pyro Travelers tap elemental skill is so good. Use it with Raiden, Mavuika, Fischl skills that do dmg when you do and you can pop many damage on all nearby enemies and it juggles them. Hilichurl on a tower? It reaches them and blows them off it with all those other Pyro/Electro damages popping off. Super fun. My current team for this is Raiden Shogun, Chevreuse, Pyro Traveler, Mavuika.
There is a 3 mil dmg showcase on natlan boss but pretty irrelevant - his actual dmg probably around 300k at best maybe 500k at a crazy team but - xiangling 50k rotations with better AOE would still do more and the teams do more dmg as well so rlly going for another dps is what makes this traveler useless as well
@@shadowwalker4633 my pyro traveler does around 400k on the burst (should be over 500k once I’ve leveled the talents fully and gotten more constellations) and then still takes out SIMON in one rotation, so around 1mil total. The rest of the team is doing negligible damage (MC, Kazuha, Benny, Citlali), so id say the damage is pretty good. Not as good as my Arlecchino, Lyney, or even Hu Tao, but more than enough for abyss
@@EvermoreUnicorninvest properly on Citlali's dmg and you will have a double nuker team, it's a lot of fun imo And once we get PMC C12, combined with Xianyun, he should be at around C6 Gaming levels (Who has higher dmg than Diluc btw) according to a lot of people on the leaks subreddit (When we were getting info about the traveler's kit) There were some calcs with vape teams but I honestly don't like the Aether's attack string or charged attack, Lumine might feel better Sooo yeah, he isn't the best character, but he will be the strongest main DPS traveller by a lot when compared to GeoMC
@@joshualoup2518 Lumine player here, personally love her charged attack, also, my Citlali is built EM EM Crit on cinder with signature, the damage increase I got from switching to Kaguras wasn’t enough to offset the loss on traveler (~15%) mainly because my rotation. Likewise for Obsidian Codex. If you have a rotation that works I’d love to know because I currently use Benny E, Citlali EQ, slight delay, Kazuha Q, Benny QE NA2 (C6), Kazuha E (no plunge), Traveler EQ (followed by normal and charge attacks depending on how the cryo application is holding up)
I tried Pyro Traveler with Mualani and it sucks. In practice i can do a single Mualani shark strike and no more pyro applications. Pyro Traveler is useless as support. As Main DPS i don't see it coming anywhere close to good damage. it's sad.

To get the real cons that is active all the time you need to offer the Flint Ores you get from Reputation Levels and return to the Throne of Primal Fire in Ochkanatlan. C6 from that one unlocks Pyro Infusion but it's not unlockable yet due that only C5 is available for now with the last Tribe needing to arrive yet

It’s impressive how, despite the traveller’s feat in the story of the game, they suck with every single element Shows how Hoyo cant even make their free units good to make players spend
For me I would say 6 is Hydro very low damage and the kit could have been better with like giving the burst a vortex that sucks in enemies and is fixed in place while dealing decent Hydro damage and maybe heal the whole party a small amount 5 is Geo can do some good numbers but they don't have much use so it feels very useless to use Geo Traveler outside a f2p option for Mono Geo or Double Geo. I don't recommend using this Traveler tbh. 4 is Anemo very easy VV access but other then the Press on the Skill imo Anemo Traveler is just so bad. Hold is kinda mid except for DPS, the Burst moves away from you what is also kind mid. And like Venti is only good against small enemies 3 is Electro has decent Electro damage and deals decent damage so you can also run them in Dendro related teams for Hyperbloom, Spread and as in the video also for Battery and in Overload that got better recently. It's very underrated because Fischl does a better job but Electro Traveler is a good alternative in my opinion if you don't want to build Fischl. 2 is Dendro is easily the Nahida alternative. Good Dendro application is pretty easy to build and is very versatile among the Dendro Teams 1 is Pyro this one actually is very good. The Hold Skill and Burst can do very good damage and with Press Skill you can do pretty good Pyro Application for Overload, Burn, Melt, Vape etc but you are limited to staying close for the Press and they have access to Scroll what makes them already good for Support. And for DPS they will only become better once they unlock Pyro Infusion on C6 If I had to tier them. Hydro low D Tier, Geo D Tier, Anemo C Tier, Electro high C Tier, Dendro B Tier, Pyro B Tier but high B Tier as DPS maybe
For new players pyro traveler is pretty good ,for players that have a good pyro unit and a good dendro applier every traveler is useless- and lets be honest Xiangling is free and with good build still way better than pyro traveler

I enjoyed using Hydro Traveler in Fontaine exploration. It was more fun using with Raiden and Nahida. My most used character in Fontaine underwater exploration is Hydro Traveler. For me most used traveler is 1. Hydro Traveler - Fun shooting water 2. Anemo Traveler - Rasengan 3. Dendro Traveler - New Element 4. Geo Traveler - Only for Liyue Puzzles 5. Electro Traveler - Never even tried to build And I'm going to start using Pyro Traveler - FOR NATLAN

I was so disappointed at pyro travelers kit. Those constel. Are such a troll, just when u think u can use them out side of the boss, nope. honestly it hinges down to his c6 as the upgraded versions of each constellation is significantly worse than the original one’s. If it’s a pyro infusion then he’s playable, if it’s a pyro infusion and unlocks his regular constellations but for all enemies then he’s op, and a contender with dendro traveler. Otherwise he’s a flop.

Literally the only thing I want from C6 is the Pyro blade beams from the domain fight.
Pyro travelers c6 gives her pyro-infused attacks and an extra 40% crit dmg, if theyre not planning on changing anything

@googlrscholar nah it's hard coded to 12 seconds but with C2, C4, and R5 Xiphos Moonlight his burst is almost always guaranteed.
I still use geo mc, but yeah, he's just raw damage and I'm fine with that

12s max uptime and 18s cooldown so only 6 seconds of downtime
i don’t think it’s bad since it tskes around that time to rotate to supports
i’m not sure if the 12s max uptime includes his c2 or not, if so then even less downtime

Can you do an even further update? Pyro Traveller can up his skills even further when you take the ore to Capitano after the Archon quest.

@@shadowwalker4633 my pyro traveler does around 400k on the burst (should be over 500k once I’ve leveled the talents fully and gotten more constellations) and then still takes out SIMON in one rotation, so around 1mil total. The rest of the team is doing negligible damage (MC, Kazuha, Benny, Citlali), so id say the damage is pretty good. Not as good as my Arlecchino, Lyney, or even Hu Tao, but more than enough for abyss

And once we get PMC C12, combined with Xianyun, he should be at around C6 Gaming levels (Who has higher dmg than Diluc btw) according to a lot of people on the leaks subreddit (When we were getting info about the traveler's kit)
There were some calcs with vape teams but I honestly don't like the Aether's attack string or charged attack, Lumine might feel better
Sooo yeah, he isn't the best character, but he will be the strongest main DPS traveller by a lot when compared to GeoMC
@@joshualoup2518 Lumine player here, personally love her charged attack, also, my Citlali is built EM EM Crit on cinder with signature, the damage increase I got from switching to Kaguras wasn’t enough to offset the loss on traveler (~15%) mainly because my rotation. Likewise for Obsidian Codex. If you have a rotation that works I’d love to know because I currently use Benny E, Citlali EQ, slight delay, Kazuha Q, Benny QE NA2 (C6), Kazuha E (no plunge), Traveler EQ (followed by normal and charge attacks depending on how the cryo application is holding up)
I tried Pyro Traveler with Mualani and it sucks. In practice i can do a single Mualani shark strike and no more pyro applications. Pyro Traveler is useless as support. As Main DPS i don't see it coming anywhere close to good damage. it's sad.
Still preferable to have double pyro or pyro traveler with dendro.

@@spiritcomics5655Those aren't the real cons and they only activate during the Boss fight specifically. To get the real cons that is active all the time you need to offer the Flint Ores you get from Reputation Levels and return to the Throne of Primal Fire in Ochkanatlan. C6 from that one unlocks Pyro Infusion but it's not unlockable yet due that only C5 is available for now with the last Tribe needing to arrive yet

For me I would say
6 is Hydro very low damage and the kit could have been better with like giving the burst a vortex that sucks in enemies and is fixed in place while dealing decent Hydro damage and maybe heal the whole party a small amount
5 is Geo can do some good numbers but they don't have much use so it feels very useless to use Geo Traveler outside a f2p option for Mono Geo or Double Geo. I don't recommend using this Traveler tbh.
4 is Anemo very easy VV access but other then the Press on the Skill imo Anemo Traveler is just so bad. Hold is kinda mid except for DPS, the Burst moves away from you what is also kind mid. And like Venti is only good against small enemies
3 is Electro has decent Electro damage and deals decent damage so you can also run them in Dendro related teams for Hyperbloom, Spread and as in the video also for Battery and in Overload that got better recently. It's very underrated because Fischl does a better job but Electro Traveler is a good alternative in my opinion if you don't want to build Fischl.
2 is Dendro is easily the Nahida alternative. Good Dendro application is pretty easy to build and is very versatile among the Dendro Teams
1 is Pyro this one actually is very good. The Hold Skill and Burst can do very good damage and with Press Skill you can do pretty good Pyro Application for Overload, Burn, Melt, Vape etc but you are limited to staying close for the Press and they have access to Scroll what makes them already good for Support. And for DPS they will only become better once they unlock Pyro Infusion on C6
If I had to tier them. Hydro low D Tier, Geo D Tier, Anemo C Tier, Electro high C Tier, Dendro B Tier, Pyro B Tier but high B Tier as DPS maybe
For new players pyro traveler is pretty good ,for players that have a good pyro unit and a good dendro applier every traveler is useless- and lets be honest Xiangling is free and with good build still way better than pyro traveler
#shafowwalker4633 because pyro traveler doesn't need to have his burst to do Pyro aplication and his Pyro aplication is faster with his tap skill in theory Pyro traveler is better no obligation to have 200 energy recharge can use cinder city+40 bonus dmg
And faster aplication with tap skill the only thing you need is sacrifial sword to reset the skill with the passif
@@ceobricks7458 the application aint that good you would understand it in 2 mins if you would use him for mualani teams ,its pretty bad on her let alone other chars that need faster hits ,at c6 i think he might do amazing on burgeon but that ll open probably in 2 patches so for now i dont rlly think he has good teams

@@ceobricks7458 its better for kinnich but not good for mualani -she moves aoe so wont rlly hit all enemies cuz of slow ticks but for kinich would work ok especially if you have nahida or baizhu .Having one team doesnt rlly make him good enought ,if C6 is infusion he might do pretty well on burgeon

I enjoyed using Hydro Traveler in Fontaine exploration. It was more fun using with Raiden and Nahida. My most used character in Fontaine underwater exploration is Hydro Traveler.
For me most used traveler is
1. Hydro Traveler - Fun shooting water
2. Anemo Traveler - Rasengan
3. Dendro Traveler - New Element
4. Geo Traveler - Only for Liyue Puzzles
5. Electro Traveler - Never even tried to build
And I'm going to start using Pyro Traveler - FOR NATLAN

I was so disappointed at pyro travelers kit. Those constel. Are such a troll, just when u think u can use them out side of the boss, nope. honestly it hinges down to his c6 as the upgraded versions of each constellation is significantly worse than the original one’s. If it’s a pyro infusion then he’s playable, if it’s a pyro infusion and unlocks his regular constellations but for all enemies then he’s op, and a contender with dendro traveler. Otherwise he’s a flop.
