- Hey guys! So as you can see this is going to be a super long video. I would recommend brewing a cup of coffee or tea, and playing the video while you get ready for the day. You can mainly just listen to the story, and not have to pay full attention! Dude I'm an EMT... they ice rink employees should NOT have tried to moved you after a fall like that!! The fact that you landed on your head/back and had head pain means that you could have had a spinal injury! They should have called 911 right away and immobilized your neck! Ugh these ppl need more training for a job like that

I just had the random urge to search Blair up and see what was happening. I made my RUclips account 8 years ago, and the first person I watched was Blair, baby Blair. Crazy to think she was considered THE beauty guru of RUclips back then, I always felt as though she had started all of it. Crazy how she's still on here.
Oh my goodness I literally did the same thing about 2 seconds ago as I haven't watched her for years! I can't even remember the last time I watched one of her videos. I finished my treatments for breast cancer shortly after the new year! Glad you're back!
2017 my mom has completed her chemotherapy and is now cancer free and we will celebrate life over her birthday at the end of march in the UAE

Love you Blair We met when you came to NJ with Elle and you signed my Daughter's funeral memories picture. We cried about Taylor together, she was supposed to be there that day but she passed one month before you guys came. Her and I have followed you and your Sister ever since the beginning and we love you both to pieces. Meeting the two of you was a dream come true. I love your style and the home stuff I can't get enough of it. You two girls are beautiful and your parents must be absolutely amazing to have Daughters like you guys. I'm crying as I type this and before Taylor passed away she finally got her dog, he is not a Yorkie but looks like one, but anyway his name is Teddy because she wanted to honor you Blair. She had a hard time being bullied at school and you and your Sister made her so happy, we would watch you guys together and bought all your products and you are just the best. I hope to see you all again and can't wait until you put out the home tour videos and as long as you make videos I will continue to watch. And I feel for you about the arm because I broke my arm three times and every time they had to set it, so painful and the last time they tried to put it back together 9 times with no pain meds ever. Some of the worst pain I felt, I screamed and screamed. Absolutely horrible, so I feel for you sweetie. Hope you get all better soon. I remember I was drawn to your channel after I had watched your first ever room tour. From then on I got hooked and watched every single one of your videos for years coming. I though lost interest in watching beauty gurus on RUclips as it became more popular and also because I grew older.
I check up on your channel maybe once or twice a year and even though so much has happened In the last couple of years, there's one thing that will always make me come back to you and that's your story telling talent. A good thing that happened to me in 2017 was that my boyfriend got home on Valentines Day after being deployed in Afghanistan for 9 months!
The good thing that's happened to me in 2017, is that I'm finally able to walk (almost) normal again after breaking my pelvis. I got thrown from a horse back in September and broke my pelvis in three places. Being 25, I didn't have to have surgery - but I will have side effects for the rest of my life. The day I was finally able to walk without a walker or cane but just a limp was life changing. Breaking such an important bone changed me as a person and how I view things. Don't know how or why but I feel like I've become a better person because of it. 😭it was a rough time of healing though! This is hard to watch, making me cry remembering the pain, I totally feel you, but yo unicorns.
Ambulances have differet codes that determine how fast they will get there. So yes, if it's a heart attack, there will be sirens and they are expected to arrive within a few minutes. But with a broken arm - it hurts like hell but it's not life threatening so they could've been on another call and had to finish that up. It's not like they're sitting around, eating a sandwich and thinking "Meh, we'll get there eventually.." Didn't want this to come off rude, but I'm a nurse and it bugs me to see my colleagues kinda "dissed" like that.
I love your story videos, Blair. I just turned 21, and I remember at age 14, coming home from 8th grade, I would make a cup of hot cocoa and watch your videos! They are so relaxing. Please don't stop doing what you do. God bless
So glad you healed properly! I had almost the same thing, although I really broke my elbow itself in 3 places. It took a long time to heal and it made me very frustrated, so I know what you've been through! Just want to let you know that you were the first youtuber I ever followed and became obsessed with and even now, I get so happy from seeing new notifications!

NYC fire men and ambulances have so much trouble going through all the NYC traffic so don't say they didn't rush bc that their job to rush to help people.. you should think before you speak about responses in the cities

Best thing that's happened to me so far is me and my bf of 8 years broke up. I was sad for a couple days. But quickly realized how we were killing each other trying to save us! I still love him he's all I've known since I was 17. We are still kind of friends but both much happier and better off. We still go for coffee and update each other. But it feels better now that we aren't fighting! Xo

So far, I had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and my relationship with my fiancé has just gotten better. My sister, who hasn't talked to me in over two years, called me and apologized for cutting me and our family out of her life. Also, I've started my fitness journey after getting up to 183 pounds. I've lost 5 pounds and I feel amazing. :)

if you don't know how the 911 system works you can't criticize that they took a long time to get there... and the radial nerve doesn't control your whole arm, only the posterior compartment of your forearm
I find it so strong of you to post a video and talk about your accident and even though it is such a serious event, you managed to throw jokes here and there. It only shows how positive and strong your soul is. "I fall on my butt and I get back up again, no big deal." THAT is strength. Take care of yourself and I can't wait to see more of your vlogs💕

that's an interesting video I've never really thought about. I think I would have some good tips tho because I'm very regimented in the way I organize and manage them.
I moved to Montana with a new job in January!! And I've already made a ton of friends, doing a lot of fun stuff on the weekends! I'm loving life!
My eyes were tearing up just listening to the pain you were in and how brave Jellybean was! Maybe see if there's a register of nurses or ask someone at the hospital to look up who was working that day so you can send the lady with the pretty smile some flowers, and send a bunch to the team at the ice rink, i'm sure they'd appreciate it :)

One great thing that's happened this year is that my best friend and I have driven to Jupiter twice to have a mini vacation. We cooked together, found a great playlist (Good vibes on Spotify), ran/worked out in the morning and spent quality time together.

This is my year as this year me and my husband will be dept free by November !!! We have been saving and going without for 2 years !! Please don't think I get into debt but we lost our jobs and had a baby and still had to pay full rent and all bills with no income for 6 months !!! So proud of ourselfs !!

I think it totally makes sense why you want to get a loft in LA - why not enjoy the time in the city with your friends and boyfriend while you're young since you can always live in the suburbs when you're older and want to be settled down with a family! after all when you're young is the time to do whatever you want to do, without having to think of your spouse or kids and such! just wondering though since u said the house has been a good investment- are you planning on renting it out at all while you're in the city? will you be living in the city 24/7? would love another storytime/coffee talk style update about the move when u r settled in! and of course all the home decor videos from your house and the loft!

I had to pause the video and comment about the ambulance. Of course they can't be there within a few minutes, they aren't stationed on every block corner. I'm sure they did leave asap, with sirens and got to you as fast as they could. 10 minutes in that situation could feel like a lifetime to you. Think of when you're hungry in a restaurant and it feels like they're taking forever and when you look at your phone in reality it's been a reasonable amount of time. I hate when people think medics can be there in the blink of an eye and complain when they aren't. They are doing the best they can and if they are 15 minutes away from you they can only get there so quick. They can't transport through space and time.
You don't have an annoying voice ... you have a unique voice. So many people think everyone should fit into a mold & be like everyone else. That's ridiculous. Thanks for the story & update.
Something wonderful that happened to me so far in 2017 was getting to go on a cruise for the first time with my mom and sister! We had such an amazing experience.

I started a new job! I am finally a real engineer after finishing my degree. 😄
I broke my arm, same bone but in 3 places. I was in the attic putting things away while I was 16 weeks pregnant. It was the worst pain ever and they couldn't really give me anything to easy my pain. It took me a year and physically therapy to use my arm again. Sending well wishes on your recovery.
You're lucky to have a good support system. Sorry that happened the day after Christmas. Glad to see you're doing ok!

Blair, I am so sorry you had to go through all of that! Probably the best part of my year has been feeling like I am finally "living" again. I had been dealing with some depression in the last couple years. Now, I am finally feeling better! :) I love unicorns and I love you!!

Sorry to tell you but labor WILL be more painful!! Especially without pain meds. Labor is off the pain scale the closes pain its comparable to is being continually burned. There's a reason why the brain doesn't record the feeling of the actual pain, no one would go through it again if we remembered the feeling. Not surprised a male doctor told you this!

Good thing for me in 2017? Recovering from a broken leg ((back in Aug)) and learning to walk again after over 5 mos of physical therapy,surgery, screws and a plate... so I can understand all that comes with that limited range of motion etc..no fun, not easy! Hugs & hang in there girl!!

My husband got a job within his job that we have been waiting on for over a year now. It was exciting part of 2017. He officially takes on the role march 10. :)
As a roller skater I cringed sooo hard while watching this! One of my biggest fears is breaking my arm/wrist because it is SO common while skating! :( I'm glad you didn't get more seriously injured though!
BlehhhBlooo in 4th grade I broke my arm rollerblading. I was going downhill on a street and thought omg I'm gonna get hit by a car at the bottom I have to stop myself first so I tried to like slide down in the grass and bashed my wrist on the ground and broke it 😣

Blair! I totally know what probably happened! I was a competitive ice skater for over 10 years and have worked at ice rinks for many years.
As a skater and worker, you were right to not hit the girl. But sometimes the intentions don't always happen the way we want.
Good job for doing what you did. I've seen many injuries and you have better recollection than most.
