This place is so cool, went there for the first time and had a blast on the small jumps. Sadly, I became to over confident and did one of the larger jumps resulting in my first major crash. I will definitely come here again to get better at jumping.

I like how you showed two different angles. It's nice to see another view other than the usual GoPro rider view. Thanks for the info on the spot, wasn't aware of it. I'm a noob dad riding a dj trying to not let my 7 y/o whose doing the bmx thing have all the fun and this looks great, maybe a little gnarly and gravely though. Pads for sure looks like.

It's a super fun little park, but the terrain is unforgiving at best if you fall. I would definitely wear pads.

Cool jumps I ride BMX and live in the Alpine Area. Those Jumps were built by kids and I just hit them a week ago on my new 2020 Sunday Scout.(Great Bike)

It’s cheese grater material. I broke my elbow on the small jumps my first time there April of 2020. I can clear most of the park now in a hardtail. Can’t wait to get back from Japan in June to come back

Is this easier to access through the way you did or at the other trailhead location?

Thanks! It's easiest to access from the cul de sac, but it's a very quick pedal from the main trailhead.

@@MTBTrailReview i like single track. not super technical but some chunk is awesome. i used to do big rock on cowles once a week 8 years ago on a hard tail but now its far to gnar for me on my current skill level even on a full suspension(khs sixfifty 6500+). a lot of erosion over the better part of a decade. but im lookin to improve my skills. would be cool if i could get the skill to confidently hit that weekly. i can probably do the mesa trail downhill as i like to climb from that trail. my current skill level id say is high beginner low intermediate. i know another trail close by the bmx park if your interested in checking it out. ive been putting in work to help build it to be more mtb oriented on the low key hahaha. it is legal work though so no worries on that front only down side is that it is pretty short but its perfect for a quick 25-30 minute rip if your short on time and live fairly close by

Went to check these jumps out today. Had a good time, but realized just how drastic the GoPro effect is. I cased every jump I tried, but felt like I was starting to learn something.

The GoPro Effect is a very real thing. It's a great place to practice. My first time out, I cased everything. Now I'm clearing a lot of it. It's definitely transferred to other jumps, too.

There is a cul de sac just west of the Mission Trails Visitor Center off of Mission Gorge. I don't have an address, but that's where I usually park. From there, go through the gate, then turn left and it will take you there.
