A G.F. Darwin deserve more love than they get. I belive They're one of the best, if not the best, and also the most underrated short movie producers in the Poland. Stories they create in their productions are always such a unique ones, fresh and there's no way you ain't gonna smile while watchin them. I encourage to check more of their content. You are not going to regret that for sure ;)
The eagles could not carry the ring to mordor for several reasons. First, it is not known how the ring would affect eagles. Second, Sauron could easily see the eagles coming from afar and send the nazgûl on winged beasts to retrieve the ring or even set up a mighty guard at the mountain of destiny. There was a reason this mission had to be kept secret.
Don't forgett that destroing of the ring was a secret mission and only fellowship and few others know that the mission is to destroy the ring so Sauron then would know what the fuck they want to do and could do something about it.
Also Great Eagles are not animals, they are sentient beings, a race of their own like dwarves and elves, only the casual viewers of the movies don't know that, because they aren't humanoid and are left mostly unexplained...

Sauron was not stuck as an aye. He could fly, or send his flying nazgul to deal with them 3. The mission had to be stealthy, or Sauron would simply protect the entrence to the mountain.

I think Darvin made a joke that Gandalf indeed in books made mistakes, the best proof was the story with Smaug. That he is so convinced he is in the right, there is no option anything is different that he perceives. and the last scene - Gandalf learning using a staff was funny🤣🤣. Actually, Gandalf did not use much spells, he was rather close combat guy using a sword. Also, as a master of secret fire, he used his element only if he had no choice.
Pity they pulled copyright on you (I'd blame their online management team rather than the guys themselves - they don't have time to browse internet for every reactor) but consider watching their videos on your own. Production values of their recent episodes is actually better than official Polish cinema (especially when it comes to sound editing). Eagels are not some mere humans,or dwarves that could be affected by ring or any material possessions, and they couldn't be swayed to evil by Sauron.
