Interesting way to work on dynamics, with a simple concept.
Another exercise, with different results. I saw it on Rob Brown's channel: on the drumset, when playing a certain groove or feel, to practice dynamics, imagine a volume knob of your playing. Play the groove/fill at volume 1, then play it at volume 10.
