I'm a window installer in the NYC area for 13+ years...my work boot of choice for almost that long has been the Timberland 6in Direct attach waterproof...they last about 6 months and are the most waterproof boots I've owned..work or casual...in the summer months I have worn everything from Adidas Sambas to Timberland Earthkeepers which are a line made with recycled soles ( that wear out VERY VERY fast).....but is a light boot with no lining....my Dad gave me a pair of Merrell shoe/sneakers that had a light thin sole and a mostly open mesh upper...they had some wear on them but I did get two summers out of them before one of my toes wore through the upper ...otherwise the soles were still intact....this lead me to find a replacement, and so I went to Paragon Sports in Manhattan...an outdoor clothing and gear retailer that has an excellent selection of brands that can not be easily found in your average department store....even with the large selection of climbing and hiking shoes I was drawn to the Scarpas...tried them on and immediately felt comfortable in them and was pretty sure that would translate well to my average work situations..lots of time on ladders and standing in window openings doing demolition of old windows, preparing new windows and sealing.....you need to be confident in your foot placement even when wearing a safety harness...it's been three weeks so far working in the Mojitos and I have no complaints...I actually picked up a second pair to keep for casual wear I like them so much...I would like to get at least two summers out of my work pair as $150 is a decent sum of money for shoes that will be beaten in dust ...but that's the fate of work shoes....

I've had my Mojito's for about 2 years. I love them. They are great for a light hike, wearing casually around town, dog walks, and casual Fridays at work. Mine have held up very well. No problem with the uppers, and the wear on the sole has been minimal. They are very comfy for a relatively stiff shoe (I wear high-cushion running shoes a lot), and they get a lot of attention because of their approach shoe styling. I've seen exactly 1 other person wearing Mojitos in the states, and that was this past weekend. You won't see them on every corner.

There is a Mojito GTX as well. GTX as in Gore-Tex version.

Best hiking shoes I've ever had. Particularly for steep mountain hiking/scrambling. The grip is comparable to my climbing shoes. Have had several day trips walking 30-40km without any blisters. Will definitely buy another pair. And will also like to try the Scarpa Mojito Hike Goretex for the winter/rainy days

I’ve worn a pair of Margarita for about five years now and love them. This model looks a little more sleek, I might try a pair. Nice review, thank you.

Ive tried them on and absolutely love them. they are very true to size, and lace-to-toe is probably my favourite feature in any shoe or boot. I have a wide foot and these felt great right out of the box. what i really want as an approach shoe is the mid height, so-called "wild" mojito, but it seems as though they may be discontinued. you can still find the mid height "basic" and "city" styles I believe. Love your reviews; keep it up!

Fantastic shoe. GTX gore Tex version is unbelievably waterproof. Goes from the neighborhood BBQ, straight on the wettest trails and doesn't miss a beat. Not once have I slipped in the woods or on the trail, and my feet remained dry at all times. Highly recommended

The Scarpa Mojitos are really good light trail, hike and walk with the dog shoes. I even use them for Mountainbiking or light climbing. The new Mojito Trail GTX is quite waterproof, sturdier but also heavier than the standard Mojito.

I saw these in a shop in Sedona, AZ about I month ago. They're good looks convinced me to try them on. Low and behold, a perfect fit, the kind of fit where you put something on and it just seems wrong to take it off. It belongs on your body. So, indeed, I left them on and paid the tab. I have narrow heels, wide pads and high arches, they make me want to walk.

I just bought a pair. When i tried them on my feet had an orgasme 😁
I've been looking at some 0-drop or barefooot shoes. Theese feel kinda like the same.
You have much feel to you front foot when you walk so some might need get used used to that.
