Someone fixed my power button but after that my iPhone 5 restart every 2 minutes before restart the screen turns like gray and turns off then on. So I shake my iPhone and I heard like a cable is disconnected, do you think that's the reason? And what cable do you think it could be? Thank you?
your video is really good. I did everything nice and carefully and slow but once i was done and put it all back together...the screen no longer works :( i have no idea what happened or where i went wrong anyone else have this issue?
***** i was about to take it apart again and quadruple check the connections and i accidentally hit the home button, and to my surprise and joy, the battery icon showed up. everything is now working! thank you. maybe it needed time to heal after the operation i just gave it ;)
when i press my down volume button, theres no click, the volume up works and clicks, but the bottom does not, i can push it in but it doesnt click/work.. what can I do? what has happened? would anyone know?? (phone has been dropped a few times)
My down volume button clicks but it doesnt work. My up volume button works and ish but not the down one. Does anyone know what to do or should I just bring it to a phone store
+In Bo You would want to replace the power and volume button flex as this would most likely be the issue. www.fixez.com/store/iphones/iphone-5/iphone-5-power-volume-button-flex-cable-replacement
What did you think the tab above the SIM card slot was for? You absolutely recked the Battery. Apple didn't make 'adhesive shit' because of that, there is a tab.

bent the battery when there is a pull tab to remove it -_-
but your suppose to change that piece obviously ?
***** thank you
Dude just disassembled the damn pone 😐
Because of the layout of this phone most of the device must be removed to access the power & volume flex cable.
This wasnt a repair this was just taking everything out of the phone
Oh come on.. The tools used in total cost more than to just go to the store..
