This plane is meant to be a workhorse, not an executive aircraft. They need to carry as many persons, baggage, and cargo to essential air route cities. More luxurious seats, overhead bins, or other items you feel this plane is lacking will not only cost money, but will cost weight. Making the plane heavier will require it to carry fewer passengers. I think they’ve done a great job of fulfilling their EAS role. I’d fly them, without hesitation! I miss seeing propliners at the air terminals.
it would have been nice to hear you say 'thank you' to the woman who opened the gate and door for you at the end of the video there. pretty disappointed and not a good look that you didn't. Show respect to everyone, including the 'random workers' like her. They deserve it too.
Unfollowed him as a result. 100 percent agreed
I fly them between Phoenix and show low. I’ve had great experiences every time.
I grew up hanging out at IPL in the 70's as my dad worked there for Hughes Airwest. The terminal looks exactly like it did back then.
Terminal was definitely a throw back to the past!
Why would you refer to it as a private jet? It’s a single engine prop plane.
Turboprop. The distinction matters.
@@Ponch426Hemi Regardless, it’s not a jet.
@@jackmeyhoffer5107technically has a jet engine lol
@@Colorado_Ronin Really? Where is it? I only see a prop on the nose.
you can land a turboprop like this pretty much anywhere while jets require a long runway.
Private jet, lol
When I first soloed in 1970 San Diego. I have lost count how many commuters from the Navajo, to several different types of turbines trying to make a go of it by flying into imperial county.
I remember back in the early 2000s they had a division Sun Air International that was merged to create Southern…I think.
4:32 And sadly, another accident yesterday with The Nelons Gospel group on board. How safe are these planes??
I fly the pc12ng/ngx for a private company. It’s an awesome airplane that’s a lot of fun to fly. I started flying for them right as they phased out their last /45(thankfully).
y thankfully?
Hey Chronie
Great video.
Awesome
good report , i like this "little" company , the PC 12 is an excellent plane 👍..you appreciate more your fly i think in this type of plane than a more bigger ..;friendships from France 😉🤙..in France for example , we 've got an airline , from Brest ( in Britanny region, a town in France ) to Ouessant an isle on the Atlantic ocean ..with a "Grand Caravan " it take about 40mn ..a lovely travel with Finistair company 👍
Worst thing about that plane one engine if it goes it’s not good I’d rather have two engines if it was me
it should have stayed Mokulele, why they changed it i dont know, but not cool!
Wow, an inflight magazine. Didnt think airlines in the US still had them.
MOKULELE!
No bathroom right?
Yup
i'm surprised that the interior is not like a private and luxurious configuration, but more of a small squeeze cabin.
I was too!
Really?! If you want a private and luxurious experience you need to charter a private plane. Southern is a commuter airline.
@@dcam456 yeah i know that.
@@thecameramantraveler4830 if u knew that, then why are you surprised...........? u clearly didn't 'know that.'
@@KuostA true
miss the red mokulele planes!
What was the meal service?
There was none
