“I was seeing masjid to be a club for the pious, but in reality it was a hospital for the sinners.” -Yarimi One of many gem statements to reflect upon.
Tbf its a remixed quote from the Pope - "The church is not a museum of saints, but a hospital for sinners." - Pope Francis loool he just changed a word or two and turned it into mosque. Yarimi always knows how to remix content from elsewhere to his 😂😂 Allahuma Barik
I remember following naseer for a long time in those times where he would describe the old days with these brothers. Saw his transition aswell where he described falling off the deen. I remember thinking that it was due to the fact he was isolated from those righteous brothers he described. I remember thinking The brothers he would have on his snap wouldn’t match who he was deep down as a person. When dawahman teared up when he recited those poems from memory. I remember feeling some sadness seeing him head down that path. But I remember having hope for him and making dua because he would still display his love of the Quran and he’d show glimpses of hope of him being amongst the righteous people. One should always learn through the lessons of others. If there’s anything I learnt from watching Naseer over the years, its the affect of companionship! I reflect on the hadeeth of the prophet ﷺ who talked about it too, and saw it come to life. Im happy to see our brother, coming back to the deen. This is a major blessing from Allah swt. I’ve seen people not been given that same chance. We are all sinners and we all sin in different ways. Even those who are practicing. But like Nasir showed/said, isolating yourself is the worst recipe when you’re heading down a Destructive path. Never feel afraid to reach out to the brothers (sisters to sisters) to tell them you’re struggling, surround yourself with those who have mercy and remind you of Allah swt. May Allah keep you steadfast naseer and all of us. May Allah keep you as a benefit to the muslims. May Allah allow you to utilise your memory and make you amongst those whom love to study the deen and teach it. Allahuma ameen. P.s A common theme in this series is how much our brother imran has helped those who’ve ‘disappeared’ ‘fallen off’ or he has reached out to them. It’s a sign for us to always try to lend that hand and help the believers. The reason Allah swt loves our Ummah the most is because we enjoin the good and forbid the evil. We need to use this with mercy! May Allah bless abubakr too for always helping even with ways that are unknown. May Allah keep the team sincere and make your dawah the forefront in spreading salafiyah in the UK in the correct manner. And may Allah bring the people to you in numbers who not only benefit, but spread what you taught them, and aid you in your needs. Allahuma ameen
I remember the first time I met Nasser, 2016/2017 at a poetry event. He rolled up like 6 man deep in white thobes. He spoke articulately and seemed to be driven by a deeper purpose a rare trait for a 17 year old. May Allah preserve him and grant him the highest rank in Jannah. Ismael
31:00 onwards.... its made me question my entire existance right now... utterly sppechless and dont know what to say, im at shock that this is the illah we worship and the one whose hand holds our soul. i've never thought of allah this way. barakallahu feekum. we are so unware of allah and his generosity. i dont think ive ever been told of this muhabbah and generosity that allah has about us, everyones too busy telling me Im finished and that he'll never forgive me. words cant explain how grateful i am for this messege.
This needs more views. Subanallah these are such beneficial reminders in casual conversations. Masha'Allah may Allah reward these brothers and accept all the Muslim's ramadan.
Allahumma barik, been waiting for this brother to jump on. Watched him when he was with the brothers back then and then left and was doing himself. But alhamdulillah always mad love for Yarimi, a brother who I believe has a lot of potential for the deen, if he really stuck with it I believe he can do all the qiraa'at and become a good teacher. May Allah keep him steadfast and firm on Salafiyyah
Alhamdullilah great gathering. So true for Dubai, its so enjoyable to just go from one mosque to the other and attend prayers, the sound system and all mosques are super clean and smell beautiful.
