Things you should keep in mind while choosing AIIMS
1)fee-it's only 5856 for 5 yrs
2)hostel facility-u will get single rooms with attached bathrooms from first year itself(no hostel fee)
3)academic facilities will be on high level as it is run by central govt -faculties are having years of experience on teaching
4)the patient exposure will be less than calicut medical college but it will help in preparing for ur pg exams😂
The problem is that of food 😬
Mess food is mainly northindian and many dishes won't be digestable for us we have to adjust ourselves
But we have kerala mess also
U will get a chance to be a part of different cultures
Language will improve better
Better chances of higher studies (many of our batchmates are preparing for usmle, plab, etc.)
The main attraction of aiims is that aiims will allow u to be part of their junior residents even before getting neet pg
If u drop an year for neet pg u can join as a junior resident in any of department with salary of a pg student for 6 month or 12 month without even getting neet pg
(U can use the hostels and library and other facilities too)
U can enjoy ur college better as academic load will be less
Aiims is not having a hectic academis as u guys think
Many times we are free here and involved in extracurricular activities
U will be having complete freedom
No time limit for entering or leaving hostels
No gender discrimination
Boys and girls participate in all sports items
Stress free environment
If u can sacrifice 5 yrs of ur life seperated from ur homeland and family
U can make it the best 5yrs of ur life.

Studying in AIIMS is something that can never be compared with colleges in kerala... AIIMS has got cream students in india...it's just amazing...if you get a AIIMS seat never lose it..the first priority must be AIIMS..the stipend given for internship is quite high in AIIMS compred to colleges in kerala

Madras medical College is better than Calicut medical College..there lot of medical Colleges better than Kerala medical College..see all India ranking in Kerala medical colleges.... Majority of KERALAites thinking only AIIMS delhi is good...lot of colleges like king George in UP, Maulana Azad Delhi, Bangalore medical College better ranking in India..for pg other states medical College is better....DEAR DOPA PLEASE MAKE VIDEO OF COLLEGES LIKE VMMC MAMC KGMC JIPMER MADRAS.....
Yes u are right. There are many colleges of top ranking. In kerala there are less no of pg seats. If you choose other state for mbbs. In that state you can separately participate in allotment. Its a great advantage.

Choosing MBBS in a medical college is NOT Only based on ranking of medical colleges!
The students are going to live in a medical college for 5 years, that will include lot more things like accessibility, distance from home, language, culture of the place and local people, food etc etc…
And everyone should understand , the academics and curriculum in all medical colleges are almost same , the student have to study themselves by putting efforts.
Conclusion: Don’t choose medical colleges on the basis of all India ranking only
