As much bias as I'll have for the Blue Shift elevator, I gotta say it'd be cool to see you do a take on the older games, just because there's so much more up for interpretation!
I'm interested to know what games you are thinking of. If you have any nice screenshots, would you mind emailing some to me at kimmelelliott@gmail.com. Thanks.
I'd like to see you make the 5th screenshot with the yellow-ish lighting and the ladder and all that. I find the grid floor there interesting in particular because i'd like to see how it's done through just textures. I tried using transparent textures in the past myself but Blender filled it with black instead of transparency. Not sure how to make it transparent but i didnt do research on it yet so uh yea. I'm voting for the 5th scene :)
I love for you to do the number 5 scene although maybe using some of the other scenes and combining them to make a completely different scene. Just a thought.
Thanks very much for adding your choice. I think for this scene, I will try to do it somewhat close to the original image and see what it turns out like.
Cool! Thank you. Hope you will be happy if I end up doing a different image, however. But I also like those two images very much. Wish I could do it all.
I would try to make the textures inside Blender and not use Adobe Subtance, the reason is that I do not have Adobe Subtance and I could not replicate your project.
@@josema2023 sadly, i won't be doing that, i will be using substance painter. I may have a short look at making some of the textures in Blender but ideally, if you wanted to do game textures you would not be able to use node-based textures.
oh yes!
Agreed! :)
I like image 1…but whatever you decide, I will follow along!
Thank you very much!
Looking forward to this one. Choice 5 for texturing :)
Thanks very much!
Recently played through Black Mesa for the first time. It was awesome. Love this idea. Very cool. Will stay tuned.
Hey cool! Thank you. Will start soon.

This is the image I am really favouring because of the textures and the floor, as you mentioned.

Thank you!
I like 2 and 9.

@@zerobio I will follow along with whatever you do!
@@doctorcaracal6909 thanks!
And it would be really cool if you bring in some previously made objects, some electrical and industrial stuff you did 🤷♂️
I may do that at some point but probably in a different scene as I want to try and make this somewhat resemble the image.
Hi, I like 1-7-9. The more modeling you have to do, the more I like it. Regards.
Thank you for your input :)
When will be your room 🙃
Do you mean my room in my house or when will I begin working on this Black Mesa scene?
