- It’s one thing to be a fan of the Notorious B.I.G. but an entirely different gift to have known Christopher Wallace. Whether he was a friend, label mate, mentor or peer, if Biggie was in your life in any capacity, you were blessed.
While conducting these interviews, the toughest question I had to ask was “Do you remember your last conversation with Big?” What I received was a beautiful mix of shared memories from friends to Bad Boy staff. We begin the finale of this ode to B.I.G.’s last days with the producer of his song “Last Day.“.

The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official RUclips home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA. - Видеоклипы
To hear him say I heard LOX crying in the background gave me chills...
This was an amazing series. It’s crazy how sometimes we forget how young everyone was back then. Rest easy King.

I say that all the time when people try to critique every move big and puff made back then. They were kids , early 20's
That last part….FACTS‼️
And yet, your kid Paf organised Biggie killing ..
It was a satanic ritual, a hit ..
They selling each other for money , fame and "succces "
Sad @kinn227
Angie, I was about simply say, “you did that”. But, you deserve more. It goes without saying, you’re a major part of Big’s Life After Death. Much love and respect. Peace and God bless you always. R.I.P. B.I.G.👑❤😢
This was the best BIG RETROSPECTIVE EVER !!! So many holes were filled . So many emotions, and truths let out . ❤ thank you from a TRUE FAN
Just wait until Big's business partner Un Rivera comes out. Now that's going to be fire!
Rest In Peace Biggie Smalls…. Legends never die
Havoc is one of the best producers in the game very underrated RIP Prodigy Mobb Deep 4Life
Havoc just kept it so Thorough 💯💯💯
Love to see the man get honored like this. New York truly honors it's icons.
This series was dope. I wish there was an episode for every song on the album! 💯

For real! 😂

B.I.G. FACTS!
Word 👍🏾
You did such a good job, Angie grand slam home run after home run. Big would be proud of you.
34:05 🤔 I more think he meant "take two" as in second place not 2 cds.
Ang you absolutely killed this serious wish you had time to do every song on that album! #BIGForever
I'd love to see this series continue. The culture needs it.
Yeah you got to keep this going!!!
We need illmatic, Infamous, Only build for Cuban line, Reasonable Doubt, Doe or Die
It would be dope to continue this with other artist iconic album and if the artist is still living they won’t be interviewed until the last episode
Dear mama is better .
Agreed
Angie still a dime #VoiceOfNewYork 😘
She aged well for a Latina
I hope if they continue with this series they do Illmatic, 36 Chambers, All Eyez On Me, Chronic, Death Certificate etc
Facts. Pin this comment 📌
I would add Paid In Full or Follow The Leader to the equation.
Those will be DOPE AS HELL
Good choices
Illmatic has a dope movie/documentary out. You should check it out. I was lucky enough to see is when it came out and Nas performed the whole album.
I was looking forward to listening to Diddy & lil Kim but all good. That white suit story gave me chills. Angie 🙌🏽 amazing job ma 🦾
I said the same thing…how is diddy not on this..
@ANTONIO HOUSTON actually no I don’t. What u mean?
@MarlonD805 also after the shooting Puffy clamed up and didn't want to talk to investigators about what he seen.
😊
😊😊😊
Angi needs her flowers 💐 for this , she really is the voice of HipHop. This is pure greatness
She needs new flowers 💐
No she aint
Good job no doubt but voice of hip hop? You're laying it on a bit thick yell
Great work Anj. We forever love you. This is award worthy documentary like only you can do
Cease has remained to be what a Friend, Bro and Homie is!!! Thanks Angie. Love you Family and keep those memories alive also🫶🏾🙌🏾
The Greatest of All Time. The Notorious B.I.G.
The most complete rap album ever made by the greatest rapper that ever lived.
Glad to see Easy Mo Bee on here, one of the greatest, most humble and underrated producers of all time. Mo Bee built Bad Boy with Craig Mack and Biggie.
HAVOC IS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED PRODUCERS EVER.
Him, Daz Dillinger, Warren G, Organized Noise

Ready to Die album needs to be next 🍾
I’m not entirely sure who’s running this entity but I definitely think it deserves a series. I think it’s just too soon to be next. I’m here for all the Biggie stories tho.
@@fuhyou3223I think they are gonna do a series bro Angie Martinez is so I think u will see other great albums on this
That album is a weed plate
Correction @ Cheo:
BIG did in fact think he was going to die.
He went on record, in an interview, saying he was dreaming, having nightmares, that someone was out to kill him.
Facts..he said he didn't think he would be around another 5 years

She won’t do it…..she’s a hater just like the rest of em
We need that Big Pun Capital Punishment series or DMX its Dark and Hell is Hot next
Best album I have ever heard. I was only 10 years old at that time and remember hearing it for the first time with my older sister. I was definitely hypnotize. Still to this day no album has ever came close to this. Long live the king of New York!
Biggie was larger than life.
#RIPBiggie #BigPoppa #TheKingOfNewYork
I want the Blue Print next! Then DMX and some Pun. Then Some Nas and Pac. Gotta mix it up. When you start off with Big and Pac the climax is already there, gotta keep us going back for more. Great job!!!
Damn this was a great series. This is my favorite Hiphop Album of all time. I wish they could've highlighted every song on the album. I can listen to Life After death from top to bottom. No Skips.
There’s def skips lol
@@ZYaKnoe249 which ones are skips ? Lol
@@ZYaKnoe249 you can’t convince them that that album has some skippers lol
I want to know though tell me cause that’s definitely a push play album
The story about the white suit 😭
LONG LIVE B.I.G. 🎩🔥
Out of all the guest on this series so far. Havoc brought the best Energy. Much love & respect Hav. God bless you sir
This was by far the best series ive seen in a long time! I deeply appreciate her for putting this together and hope that she continues and documents other life changing albums that changed hiphop! WE'LL ALWAYS LOVE BIG POPPA!! I was only 4 years old when biggie was killed but grew up listining to his music and his demise makes me cry. Love you Biggie!!!
BIG 👑🐐#1
R.I.P👼🏾🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
I wished they talked more about the songs
There’s only so much you can say about a song when the artist himself is not around to discuss it.
"I want my spot back, take #2: that was a double entendre.... this was his second album
PLEASE DO ITS DARK AND HELL IS HOT NEXT!!!!!
I feel like I'm putting the same comment over and over again with each video. This was absolutely incredible! The intro, the sounds, the set, the guests, the stories, the insight, it was nothing short of amazing. I look forwarded to every Monday to watch the next episode, bummer the series is over. Congratulations on an epic series - amazing!
Angie did that 🔥🔥. Learning new things about BIG is just amazing.
I am always thrilled when I hear Mike B speak... He sounds like he knew Biggie beyond the surface level... He knew the man and his rhymes and his spirit... #Respect A couple of people should still be here... The women in his life... His Mum and his wife... His daughter and his son...
THE OG NOTORIOUS B.I.G.#1 (RIP)
And nobody put 2+2 together? If he was supposed to be in London, and not in LA, but somehow ended up in LA, wtf for? A party??? Why was puff so eager to get him to LA for a party?? 😮
🙄🙄🙄
Hmm..food for thought🤔
He was in a LA for a few weeks he was suppose to leave the next morning after the Soul Train awards

I know Gene Deal rolled his eyes at the Cease part 😂😂😂
He said everything Gene said.
Gene always says BIG didn’t wanna be there
Cease just wants to be on the Puff good books..

CJ the son of Big is also an actor. "Everything Must Go" with him and Will Ferrell is one of my favorite feel good movies.
As a try hip hop scholar this was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. RIEP Biggie, way ahead of his years and a true legend.
If b i g was still alive he would still be the goat 🐐 😭

B.I.G is the best ever done it
This man Christopher Wallace is and will always be my favorite and I remember I was 16 years old getting ready for school and saw on MTV news what had happen to him and it was just a shock and a moment where I didn't realize being a teenager what I and everybody else had lost when he died and honestly BIG deserves more than 8 episodes I wish they could do 20 more anyway thanks for the The episodes y'all have done and WE MISS U BIG
To the voice of New York 🗽 thank you so much for this. We love you, Angie.❤
Angie Mart thank you so much. You will win an award for this thought-provoking heartfelt body of work. Love you Ang
How can something still be so sad!?
“Life After Death “album is a classic…..
Life After Death is the best album ever. The story telling and dark tone of this album is far beyond extraordinary
His presence transcends mortality, resonating with us whenever we immerse ourselves in his masterful creations.
Thank you for holding it down, Angie. Beautiful series.
That was fantastic, Angie. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you Angie, for putting this together. RIP BIG ❤🙏🏿

Rest easy BiG, wherever u at right now I just wonna say there's this love I have for u in the deep soft spot of me...
Life after death went diamond before all eyes on me.
YEP!!!! And came out after Big is the 🐐 period!!!!
@@gillatineking3236 exactly
So what. All Eyez On Me is still easily better. Plus, Pac got to see AEOM become a successful album before he died. LAD sold alot specifically BECAUSE Big died. Also, AEOM has actually surpassed it now in sales.
@@FireIceTalon 😂 😂 better??? The beats were shittier, his lyrics were ABCs, he wasn't a gangster so his gangsta shit was false, he had two number one songs on that album Big had four AND he died before Big sooo if he was so great and loved. Don't you think he should have definitely went Diamond before????? Plus Biggie first album went 5 times platinum while Pac first album went gold. Clearly we loved Big before he died
@@gillatineking3236 Sit back and relax while I hand you this L. 🙂
You’re smoking good shit if you think LAD production is better. I have a background in musical engineering and can tell you for a fact AEOM objectively has better production, engineering, and mixing. It’s not even close really, AEOM is an absolute production masterpiece from start to finish.
PAC’s lyrics were ABC’s? Think you need to relisten again. He absolutely murders Got My Mind Made Up , Heartz of Men, Tradin War Stories and Can’t C Me, and that’s just for starters.
And don’t even get me started on subject matter. Pac makes Big look one dimensional by comparison in this department. And that’s ANY Pac album, not just AEOM.
Pac may not have been a gangster but Big was certainly no mobster either like he was claiming to be. Pac was rapping about his LIFE on AEOM, those verse on the self titled track and both his verse on Only God Can Judge Me was factual , introspective and scripture. BIG was rapping about what he THOUGHT he was or wanted to be, Pac was way realer. Way more introspective, too.
Big did not have 4 #1 singles on LAD, he had two (Hypnotized and Mo Money) just like Pac (Cali Love, How Do U Want It), and neither of them went double platinum like How Do U Want it did.
Comparing Big’s first album to PAC’s first album is apples and oranges, one was recorded in 1991 the other in 1994 - two completely different eras. MATW and RTD is a much more apples to apples comparison, and when they were both living MATW reached #1 and stayed there 4 straight weeks. RTD never reached #1 and it sold the bulk of its units AFTER Big died. It may have sold 5 million but only 2 mill while he was alive. AEOM sold almost 7 mill while Pac was still breathin (more than 12 mill to date) he didn’t need death hype to push units 😂
Big was a Pac biter, whether it was stealing PAC’s original MATW album, or making his second album a double disc cause he saw the success Pac had with that formula. Everyone and they momma began doing a double album cause of Pac.
Pac > Pig
AEOM and MATW > either of Big’s albums, by light years
Good try though, buddy.
Loved every moment of this! Thank you.
As a BIG fanatic, this piece provided so much in depth information that I've never known. Great insight from people that mattered to him and his career. This was an AMAZING doc to say the least. It reaffirms how incredibly influential BIG was as an artist. BIG FOREVER!!
Got to see all EPS... Ang. You did your thing on this one.. can't wait to see more!
Tears coming down my face rip big 😢
Clark Kent said on Math Hoffa, that Big was influenced by D Roc & Puff to go to that party. On Vladtv, Un Rivera also said Puff wanted Big to go. @49:12 (5001 flavor) Sherane Wood said Big was going to London & stated he didn't even want to go California. C's, says Big wanted to go to that party but @GeneDealShow, they was told that nite by Puff's personal security Gene Deal, they're going into danger, but C's blew it off, saying, "go head with that cop shit", C's should've just shut up.
Absolutely accurate
Yea Puff played a role! Cease know stay on Puff hood side. Shit wack
This was an Excellent series , that makes me appreciate Life After Death and BIG’s talent that much more 🔥🔥🔥💯
