I'm an academic, a specialist of Japanese language actually, and I can tell you : 16 minutes of Scott Nelson is not enough.
The "articulating on the pant" argument in particular was incredibly interesting.
Look at him consulting his notes : this man is actually teaching a lesson, or giving a scientific communication.
ADDENDUM : There's no mistery : like M.Nelson, being a language specialist too, I was brought to the bigfoot rabbithole, too, because of the Sierra sounds and how it was obviously...something else. Like Ron Morehead had somewhat hired Mike Patton from Faith no More, or someone of his caliber, to fake bigfoot sounds. But what is the probability of that...

I got to chat with Scott Nelson at a Colorado conference in 2018. I went to that, my first, because at this conference were David Paulides, LInda Moulton Howe, Scott Nelson, Harvey Pratt and some Colorado researchers with trail-cam pictures. As one of those men was flipping through an unorganized sequence of cam pictures and people were quietly watching and listened, then he flipped to another picture (without any warning which he SHOULD have given) and KABOOM, the entire audience of about 150 or more erupted as though Bigfoot had just walked into the auditorium. An incredible spontaneous reaction!!! The muttering and sharing of reactions between people went on for over a minute. THe trail camera was pointed at a small field amongst trees where the lighting was nearly perfect and the creature was not more than 15' away from the camera. EVERYTHING in the entire image was clear - it was that good because of the sunlight - EXCEPT for a slight blur of the creatures heads. People concluded that it likely reacted to a click or whir of the camera and bent a little at the knees and moved it's head slightly. Still one could obviously tell this was a huge creature with a huge head and covered in brownish/red-tint? hair/fur.
No one started screaming but clearly a few came close and we were all talking about it at the breaks and one-on-one - asking "How Did you contribute to the group vocalization?".

This interview alone is a testimony to the authenticity of Sasquatch. I have heard more detail from Scott with Ron Morehead via Strange Brau some years ago. As footprints have proved an "unknown", so has Scott's analysis of Sasquatch language. All the more, his scientifically comprehensive analysis was proof to him a previous non-experiencer and non-believer. The recorded language seems literal proof of Sasquatch existence but somehow not. Not that we the people should know the truth of it we guess.
I would be interested to know whether Scott has had experience with the Sasquatch people? I wonder that they have tried to contact him since his revelation of them :)
Thank You All for this great interview so directly relevant to the subject matter, the beauty of it :)

Somewhere on RUclips is (what appears to be), one of Mr. Nelsons first tellings of his story. I watched it a few years ago, captivated and intrigued. When someone of credibility speaks of these creatures that "don't exist", they are laying everything on the line. Some people have great reputations to protect yet have to tell their story. In this other video that I saw, Scott tells his story in a way that makes him seem almost embarrassed to be talking about it. Reluctant, yet it's something he has to say, simply because it's true.

They don’t all sound exactly alike. They vary in sound from something, whether it be type, size, age, geographical location, etc. I can’t explain WHY they don’t sound exactly the same. The sounds and vocalizations I have heard in south Mississippi differ in many ways from that of the Sierra Sounds... And so throughout the entire world I would assume there is even more of a variance., they don’t all sound exactly like the ones that Ron Morehead recorded. Listen to a group of Asians speaking amongst one another from several yards away, and do the same thing with a group of Vikings, you are going to hear a difference. I’ can only assume that there are similar differences with Sasquatch...

I've experienced something of the same phenomena in the white mountains of NH occasionally over the last 40 years that was similar but different (I swear one of the Sierra clips has the male saying WTF) I was wondering if you thought of the possibility that different groups would be using a different set of words ( isolated communities in the Appalachian and Smoky mountains actually have dialects that are practically indecipherable to outsiders)

Not at the speed and duration of these creatures. Especially while using pant/exhale. Sorry. I firmly believe I heard a BF in late Dec 1979 in a very remote area of eastern Oklahoma - a place, I heard directly from Harvey Pratt at a conference in 2018 "has been a hotbed of Bigfoot sightings and vocalizations for over a hundred years. It was 18 degrees. My friend and I had seen no traffic except one car in the last hour or so of driving. The ground was covered in snow and some ice. At 2AM, my friend (a woman) heard the first (of two). With great dexterity and quietness, and being SO scared, she rolled next to me, put her left hand on my chest ("Don't move message"), PLACED her lips on MY left ear AND THEN whispered in a tiny whisper of great dread: "DID YOU HEAR THAT?" I shook my head "no". Two minutes later we both heard the 2nd one. I almost levitated. Every molecule in my body wanted to get out of the tent and run for the car. But smartly we remained motionless. I was awake holding my big Bowie knife - a lethal weapon - pointed up, holding with 2 hands for nearly 3 hours until sunlight came up. I knew nothing about Bigfoot/sasquatch at the time. Didn't know the words even. So I regret not looking for footprints in the snow/ice/frozen leaves/grass. That creature was less than 100 feet away from us and did a vocalization that wasn't a howl or scream but somewhat human but of a duration and range that only a female opera singer would have any change of duplicating. But not in 18 degree weather.

Saw and photographed a footprint off the side of snow packed road at Bagby Hot springs. The gap from the road, a turn out off the main, was about 5-6 feet. I could only guess the length of the foot was more than 12 inches, and ~4-5 inches wide. No arch. Depth of snow was about seven or eight inches. The little gully alongside the road was three feet deep and wide, typical runoff depth and width. We couldn't see the follow up foot print because of uneven ground ... It was an awesome sight

In some winess or experiencers experience, these creatures can also communicate telepathically and there are references in many encounter accounts of awareness of being watched and tis oher where the normal sounds from other creatures is not present, during an awareness of their presence; how can that be explained? Finally, if the understanding and expert interpretation expressed here by Scott, is not scientifically significant evidence, what is?

I want an only Bigfoot encounter in Willow Creek California at the east Fork, Campground and winter when they were closed I knew it was a Bigfoot because it sounded like it had huge lungs.

Respectfully, I would like to see proof of this man's background. I was a part of the military community of which he speaks and there are parts of the narrative regarding background that are confusing.

Does anyone else think it's strange this guy does a deep analysis and that's it no one has followed up and there is no mention of this anymore. You'd think someone would pick up where he left off. Cover up? Conspiracy?

There has not been a true study because these beings live in the wild are very hard to find. From listening to interviews they by their sheer size are very frightening, they try to hide themselves because they know people would try to kill them with a rifle or harm their family. You would need someone that has befriended a few Sasquatch. Their DNA points to modern female and an unknown more ape like creature. I am sure that our Government knows much more but just like UFO’s you will never know exactly what they know. I also read that you cannot get too close to them because of infrastructure sounds. Their voices can paralyze a person and just being in the vicinity of them some people get very ill.
