Sounds a lot like Code Mistake by Corpse and Bring Me The Horizon. Like, to an uncanny degree, same voice technique by corpse in the beginning and they have a similar progression near the end. Maybe they were inspired by it. You should check it out it's a cool song!

the game is mostly hated by the DMC community because the combat system has been oversimplified since initial versions where it actually played like a DMC
it is also FLOODED with p2w,gacha,microtransactions and has generic mobile game systems like special energy systems and such
i was willing to give it a chance but after playing it the most simple way to put it is it is not a bad game by mobile game standards but in no way a good game by DMC standards and earlier versions have been way better especially the combat system

I consider this to be Dante's theme for DMC5 now. It fits way better and I like it a lot more than Subhuman.
If you pay attention to the lyrics, you’ll notice that it’s for both Dante and Vergil.
@@matthewjoslyn2692 Oh I know. But most of the lyrics could apply to Dante. And besides, Vergil is one of the most important aspects of his story. So it'd make sense for lyrics about him to be there.
@@kin4386 I think that "subhuman" is underestimated, it's great music that reveals Dante's character from a tragic side, and it's one of the few DMC songs that recalls that Dante also had a hard time going through psychological trauma due to the death of his mother and the loss of his brother.
@@user-xz8hf3sk8m I wholeheartedly disagree. Compared to Bury the Light, Devil Trigger, Devils Never Cry and Fire Inside, the entire song just feels woefully unfitting. It's instrumentals and vocals are flat without much variety and no sense of bounce, fun or melodrama like Dante is known for, the lyrics themselves are super generic and don't go over anything specific from Dante's character or history (Which makes sense considering it was written for the wrong version of Dante) and in general instead of being a song that revels in it's own corniness and edginess in a way that doesn't take itself super seriously like the others, it just screams "PLEASE TAKE ME SERIOUSLY" energy. The other songs were written by fans, for fans. Subhuman was written by someone who doesn't even know anything about Dante.
