Just voted for you Chris and crew. Well said Ricky re Ange. I'm a Liverpool supporter but I love the way Spurs play. Beautiful to watch. Ange will win you trophies if you all stick with him. Needs to be fully backed by the board though and he needs to get the players he wants to play his system if you are to be successful in the future. 🏆
@@spurs6661 your objections to Ange are based on your feelings too you sausage. What a silly comment. Great video thanks! Nice to hear some common sense from a Spurs fan. There are some highly strung Spurs fans out there that seem so unintelligent and unbalanced so its good to see this smart point of view :)
If one of the greatest managers ever in football, Pep, can’t turn Man City around with its roster, how would he go with Spurs full roster, let alone Spurs depleted roster? People who want Ange out are clueless. He is not the problem. He is holding this depleted Spurs side together.
This is the most toxic, clueless fanbase I have ever seen in decades of watching sport. They want instant results, even though a proper rebuild in any sport usually takes 4-5 years. Combine that with the kind of nonsense like we saw last season, with fans hoping Spurs would lose to Man City just to deny Arsenal the title, and you can see why Ange is so disgusted at times. It is embarrassing. I am confident Ange is going to turn things around, and I hope Levy gives him the time needed to do so. However, with the constant injuries we are experiencing, I'm wondering if it's time for a full review of our training and medical staff and procedures.
"procedures" ? I think you have to look to Ange's "project" for all the players getting injured. It's the most injuries I have seen at Spurs and let's call a spade a spade. It's Ange.
@@larondeb782 you musta been one of the City supporters last year and Ange calling you out as not a proppa supporter...guess beating City 4-0 this year really upset you
It's interesting that when we were doing well in first halves and then sat back to try and manage the game, we lost a few matches, then people were saying why do Spurs sit back, change and invite pressure. Now when we keep pressing and leave ourselves open, same critics are asking why we don't sit back and manage the game
Not one word on how having just 1 option of playing is a big part of the problem. I could not agree more with ricky's rational & we all know just a few tweaks in certain areas would have huge benefits. Bringing in absolute rubbish like Werner on 160k is where we have huge defects in the procurement of players which ultimately hurts us. We build Harrods but shop in Poundland & yes I fully understand you cut your cloth accordingly & the stadium needs paying off daily market fluctuations etc but when the club pulls in over half a billion for the 1st time from all the other options on the entertainment menu you have to ask why isn't that same attention to detail applied to the team to make them successful instead of ridiculed on a weekly basis. I like Ange I just don't like his 1 only option of playing that needs to change, we are currently the 3rd worst team in the league defending set pieces & we waste most of ours & in his 2nd season nothing has changed, if this doesn't & quick mediocrity will be with us until the next Messiah turns up with more regurgitated promises on a budget!
Short sighted childish view on the situation. Sacking Ange will not do a damn thing, the core problems will remain at this club. I can't even blame Ange for the terrible performances recently, his squad depth is piss poor. Our ownership seems to have a desire to see our first team ground into dust. This is purely on ENIC and Levy.
I hope he can turn it around but lets be honest for a long time now its 2/3 passes and we are cut wide open! This season romero has got worse same for vdv porror udogie maddison son yea they have had abfew good games but more bad! Even with our starting players now we should not be struggling against fulham Bournemouth ipswich palace. Now look at marco silva what he does have is the ability to adapt because he has tactical awareness and also the ability to get the best out of hes players ! For me marco silva would do much better for the above reasons
19 wins 6 draws 19 losses in Ange's last 44 games. 5 wins away and 9 home losses for the calander year. We are very inconsistent under Ange. I would say Thomas Frank Is more adaptable tactically. Also has done wonders with a small budget. I think he suits us better.
@@danielturner7213 lol he wouldn’t change anything with this team. People like you are the problem with this club. Give Ange a break ffs. Ask Pep what he thinks is wrong with his teams current bad run? You’ll be amazed what he says

Whose to say if he came to spurs a year sooner to oversee a huge rebuild on our budget he could achieve anywhere near what Ange has done in the time. We lost Kane and finished mid table under Conte. You need to give the manager the tools to do the job otherwise you’re just going around in circles. Sacking another manager = insanity. 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. '
What is unbearable about these optimist's as much as I want to believe in what they are saying is that even if ange does well he won't be given the wage budget to sustain it. We have already seen pochettino build what should have been a dynasty. Only to be starved of transfer funds. I don't expect anything different this time around. Even if a few players come through the ranks and make it to elite level they will be sold to bigger clubs leaving us back at square one, because we won't have the wage budget to show them ambition by bringing more players like them in. Time to wake up rather than just be the eternal optimist going round in circles for another decade or two.
We’re sitting 10th five points off 14th and face Liverpool next. We’re very open to counterattack and struggle to put two wins together. Injuries mounting from the intense style. Face Liverpool next. Fans have a right to be sceptical about this system. Great wins against Southampton and City we’re five points off 4th. Both views are valid next few games we could be in Cup semis and climb the league or we could drop lower. It’s not clear if this project is worth sticking with or not.
We were great against a team that has 5 pts on the standing table! I'm wondering whether there can be. a win against a team that is not at the lowest rung on the table. Ange's "project" does not indicate this. I expect the losses against the better teams that we have seen so far. I could be wrong. I agree this project is not clear cut.
Show me any world sports team that has gone on a full rebuild, that is changing the coach, all the players, and completely the style from defensive and attacking in less than 2 years. Anyone thinking we should be near the top after 1.5 years needs a brain transplant. Most statistics say we have improved in year 2. We need to give it time and also for levy to back Ange
Ange did an amazing rebuild at Celtic but is unproven at PL level against elite managers and players. The rebuild has to be evaluated you can’t wait 5 years and end up in the Championship. There are some areas to be worried about at this stage. Sitting mid table, risky open defence style, loose defensive shape, poor marking, high injuries (training and intense style?) only plan A, little in game management if Plan A not working, no elite coaches (defence, set piece, general), not attracting elite players especially if sitting mid table, generally poor recruitment, players not motivated every game, manager not showing adaptability and learning. His philosophy was we play our football and don’t worry about what the other team are doing. I don’t think that would work at this level if he’s still doing that.
@@rocket8796I’m not sure where you are getting your info from but it sounds like from someone’s arse. If you look at some of your drivel it makes no sense as our defense is the 3rd best in the league. He has tweaked and adapted the attacking in various games like Man City. The stats show progress and improvement across the board except points as inconsistency is the current problem. Sometimes it takes time to get consistency especially when you are trying to instill a whole new philosophy. So the facts pretty much contradict most things in your post. Even the players Ange recruited are improving bar one or two. It’s never going to be a hit but Maddison, VdV, Solanke, Johnson, youngsters Gray, Bergvall are all showing sonething and improving. Injuries have put a big spanner in the works no doubt but overall it’s progress on a complete from top to bottom rebuild in year 2 and we have only had 1.5 years
I couldn't disagree more with Ricky, Ange needs to go! If things keep going wrong with our managers, yes, it goes back through out the past 20 years. And that comes down to Levy. Nonetheless, the issues wrong with Spurs now are mostly down to Ange.
I don't think Ange is good enough but Levy is the biggest problem at the club. He never properly backs a manager with what they need. Lowering the wages as much as possible isn't rebuilding. Also it's not backing a manager yet again.
Im sorry ricky but because other managers have rejected us, this means no matter what and how bad it gets, and we continue doing badly we have to just stick with it?? Also this myth about free flowing football game after game is just that a myth. Over the last 40 something games we have more then we have lost . And you know full well we have 1 of those games every 5/6 maybe more . Had most if not all fit second part of last season same pattern of results. I hope ange turns it around but lets be honest most games most pundits can see the problem and its tactical. So if he wont adapt and we get the odd good game every 5/6 we should just accept it?? Ive never heard so much madness in my life . Like i said hope he turns it around but the truth is marco silva and irola are doing better then us with far less players quality wise, but what they do have is tactical awareness and the ability to get the best out of what they have. Im not seeing progression this season its regression! So basically we stick with him no matter what ive never heard so madness in my life im sorry
Have just listened to your view on our manager Ange This is absolutely the biggest lot of rubbish I’ve ever read on this forum , I hope you are man enough apologize to Chris for this crap when we finish 8 at best and don’t win F-k all Will remind you at the end of the season.
so it will be business as usual then. so why blame Ange? your problem is that you think that Spurs are better than they are. you've had winning PL managers and what happened. look in the mirror. the problem is the losing and short-term mentality of the supporter base.
It doesnt matter who we have as manager the club wont succeed until the tyrant levy backs the manager by getting top players and paying higher wages.25 year its all on levy but Ange needs to sort the squad out by having 2 quality players for each position.
@spurs6661 I'm not sure. 2 points from 6th in a very competitive league. Squad hit with many injuries. What you call happy clappers I would call level headed and patient.
Injuries are down to way Ange plays. Last season Spurs had most number of individual players injured -22. This season back line is full of muscle injuries asking CB to defend 2v2 at half line…. Backing him inspite of this is ok but please do not offer excuses on injury front
Van de ven had hamstring injuries at Wolfsburg. It's not always to do with Ange, it's poor recruitment research and laziness on your part for not googling it lol.
@ This is 4th hamstring injury of VDV at Spurs. If someone is injury prone, it’s all the more reason you don’t put them under pressure asking him to do super human sprints every few minutes… just because your tactics means fullback & DM will be out of position
Seriously, Spurs have had injury problems for many years now, Poch had problems, Conte & Jose pointed it out & mentioned the medical stuff but some didn't listen.
@@denniszenearl4691Why don't they? Training is the same intensity as the games. We are not even half way thru the season and the players looked knackered out there.
I disagree. I have been through decades of Spurs managers and Ange is by far one of the worst this club has ever had, since Gross. In both leagues we sit 10th/11th when before we have been a top 6 side. He has run players into the ground who are so tired they get injured so easily. Hamstrings a big clue. No team will ever win set up with an open defence, period. Any successful team has a core defence to build from, ours has 15-20 shots against on average! You can't play like there is 10 mins to go every single match all match. Ridiculous. He plays players out of position, his team management during matches is appalling most of the time. We have one of the best squads and this is where we are at after 18 months of Angeball. Its a big NO from me and can't wait for him to go.
@@spurs6661 Actually I'm not wrong when the numbers show that I'm right. Looking at the table as of 18/12/24, the only 4 bottom teams have lost more games (not 3 so you are wrong) & only the top 5 have won more games. Chelsea is the only team that has scored more goals and only by 1. How you are being a sour puss is up to you.
If you have a manager that plays a system that gives you 10+ chances a game is it the gaffers fault ? Is Ange supposed to score them from the sidelines as a coach lol Ange can only do so much in the end if damnn players miss sitters game after game then don’t know why he’s copping it .

@ sadly I do. You’re better off supporting Woolwich FC….
Back Ange, kick out Levy
Yeah that will solve everything..you hope.
You want to be Spursy; you want to be Spursy at its most Spursy......get rid of Ange and start again.
Have just listened to your view on our manager Ange
This is absolutely the biggest lot of rubbish I’ve ever read on this forum , I hope you are man enough apologize to Chris for this
crap when we finish 8 at best and don’t win F-k all
Will remind you at the end of the season.
so it will be business as usual then. so why blame Ange?
your problem is that you think that Spurs are better than they are. you've had winning PL managers and what happened.
look in the mirror. the problem is the losing and short-term mentality of the supporter base.
Levy out. Unless he gives us the weapons we need.
It doesnt matter who we have as manager the club wont succeed until the tyrant levy backs the manager by getting top players and paying higher wages.25 year its all on levy but Ange needs to sort the squad out by having 2 quality players for each position.
Ange has made our fanbase the most ambition less fans ever! The happy clappers clearly have no standards. We are 10th ffs.
I think it could be called a rebuild. They usually take a few years. Hope that helps
@ Is this our first rebuild? I don’t remember being 10th before. Do you?
@spurs6661 I'm not sure. 2 points from 6th in a very competitive league. Squad hit with many injuries.
What you call happy clappers I would call level headed and patient.
@@danegazzard137 2pts from 6th. We’re aiming for 6th now are we…? Levy and Ange have drained all the ambition out of this fan base
@@spurs6661 Middle of the season 10th. Should we just stay 4th all season to make you happy?
Injuries have NOTHING to do with Ange!!!!!
Its a big NO from me and can't wait for him to go.
look at our GD and that's even with the injuries.
ps: and how much success have you had in those decades?
Only 3 prem teams have lost more games in 2024 than Tottenham. Ange is making us a laughing stock.
Actually 4 teams and 5 teams who have won more games - but there is only one team who has scored more goals. Are you not entertained?
@ No, you’re wrong and no I’m not entertained by kamikaze football
@@spurs6661 Actually I'm not wrong when the numbers show that I'm right. Looking at the table as of 18/12/24, the only 4 bottom teams have lost more games (not 3 so you are wrong) & only the top 5 have won more games. Chelsea is the only team that has scored more goals and only by 1. How you are being a sour puss is up to you.
Your points delve to long. Get to the point. Some of you might like your voice. We need good discussions.
this is, what, the 8th bang average manager who's achieving nothing we've been asked to back now?
The West Ham game was 3-3 Lanzini equaliser but everything else spot on
If you have a manager that plays a system that gives you 10+ chances a game is it the gaffers fault ?
Is Ange supposed to score them from the sidelines as a coach lol
Ange can only do so much in the end if damnn players miss sitters game after game then don’t know why he’s copping it .
Well said Ricky
Ricky, the West Ham game finished 3-3! Jesus, now we’re making up lies to make Ange look good
