Scotty, what happens to the battery is the lead flakes off the plates and drops to the bottom. When enough of the lead builds up, it will short out. Sometimes, you can clean the battery and dry it out. Blow it out and refill it. If the lead flakes that are causing the short come out, you will have a good battery for awhile longer.

You need a mini solar generator like I got to keep everything charged up..cell phones, laptops and everything else..it's a must have item for you Mr Scott.
Takes forever to charge a battery.
@GiancarloBenzina you only use the solar generator to charge smart phones, laptops and to have lights in and outside of the tent, Scott is using his motorcycle battery's to charge his smartphones and ect. the mini solar generator takes that problem away.
I tried one of those. 11 hours just to charge a cell phone and you gotta keep moving the panel into the sun to do it.
Best thing about living on a bike. All the million $ views to wake up to. If u come up to the P.N.W. I'll share some of the best views on earth with u. As always, good to see you bro. Safety is for suckers.
I guessing you actually own condos in various countries.
Then why would i live in a tent?
@scootertrampscotty Because if people found out that you are a real estate mogul, then you couldn't be Scooter Tramp Scotty. 😉 ✌️

Oh, of course. Well, when you come to my mansion in Beverly Hills and James comes back to the pool and under the tree to my tent and tells me there's this guy wants to talk to you, says he knows you from youtube, I'll have to decide whether to tell him to let you in or set the dogs loose.
The last battery i bought from wally world cost me $100 and lasted 3 months.. i took it back and they told me it only had a 30 day warranty! Thinking about going lithium idk. I have a lot of compression but no relief valves so its hard on batteries and starters
I have a 98 electra glide. 210 psi in both holes with ev27 cam. I've been runthat way for 9 years. Out a Duracell battery in when I did the motor 9 years ago. I just replaced it 2 years ago. I went with another Duracell. I've never had any starter trouble either ( knock on wood ). I just don't gold the start button down when it comes up on compression right after hitting the button. When it does that I let go of the button for a couple seconds. Then hit it again and it rolls through TDC and fires right up without cooking the starter
That's why I gave up on high performance long ago. In touring there are aspects far more important than power. Like heat and reliability for starters.
Hi Scotty,
You are a funny guy !
You carry two batteries on your bike, to be on the safe side, and now both are dead.
I thought shit like that could only happen to me. 😆
im learned up 0n bernays.

Its an eye opener
