Very nice instruction. I have gone through more swing changes than I can count, but recently 'discovered' that keeping my legs stable like this leads to more consistent strikes. Came to youtube to validate what I was noticing, and was glad to see your video as confirmation. Now if I can just do it consistently on the golf course...

That is a great tip. I can get a little long in my back swing, which leads me to have to much movement in my lower body. Your drill you have posted will absolutely be in my practice routine. Thank You so much :)

One of the best tips I ever got was that during your whole backswing you should be able to “JUMP” straight up and down until you hit the ball. That though helped me to get rid of my hip slide and overactive legs.

So essentially the golf backswing is destabilizing the lead leg and stabilizing the trail leg. The downswing is destabilizing the trail leg and stabilizing the lead leg. Weight shift from one side to the other is not as great as one would think. Correct??

Nice video. Change the title on the video as the misspelling doesn’t do you justice

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Glad you liked it. Sorry, I still don't see a error in the title spelling. Which word are you referring to?

If you were in England, it would be spelled “stabilise”. No problem!
