    This obsession with the KO is completely overplayed. Why? Why is it a given? Franklin has never been down in his life. Whyte and AJ both caught him with heavy shots and he proved that he has a solid chin. Sometimes it just doesn't happen. Deontay Wilder who is the heavyweight division's KO artist, went 12 rounds with Bernane Stiverne and couldn't KO him. Fury went 12 rounds with Francesco Pianetta 3 months before Wilder. Where was the outrage then? KO's just doesn't always come. Why force it and jeopardise the W when you're comfortably winning the fight?

    • @x12-y8v
      @x12-y8v Год назад +5

      None of them 2 looked scared out their skin of what was coming back and looked that way for a number of fights. Relax.

    • @PST101
      @PST101 Год назад +18

      @@x12-y8v really? No one said this after Usyk 2. AJ went for it in the later rounds and was getting tagged constantly. Didn't look scared to me. But I appreciate people ignore that that as it doesn't fit the 'scared' narrative. Let me guess, 'he hasn't been the same since Ruiz 2'. But we'll ignore the Pulev KO... all while he was 'scared of getting hit' of course. He has been defensive agreed, but against fighters who have hands as quick as his. The opportunity to KO Franklin simply wasn't there. You don't just go and have a shootout with someone and hope you're on the right side of the 50/50. Maybe a possibility in the last round, but again, why jeopardise the W at that stage of the fight when your way ahead on the cards.

    • @ursigns

      I agree he caught him with some solid shots his chin is very good ,
      For me tho Aj should have stopped him through the volume of shots I thought he was OK but was negative especially down the stretch,
      For me uysk of fury the towel would have gone in from Franklin's corner , AJ i feel has peaked,
