Amna's analysis is always on point
The female journalist in ZPKB is an old friend of Nofil and they were pretty close we saw her in initial episode as well. Nofil is also friends with her husband(Salman). I liked their interaction it was very real just how school college buddies meet after really long.
Totally enjoyed Nofils friends entry. Was a fresh breath of air. That's pretty much how good friends are in the city. Also the main purpose for her entry is Rani's case. Because the girls mom visited nofil informing him that there is no progress in the police case.
Beautiful drama. Each scene is amazing..
ZPKB - I loved the scene where Nofil tells Meenu that they should talk to avoid misunderstandings and he asks her to meet in the khet. That entire scene had so much chemistry. Amazing performance by Sajal and especially Hamza he was very charming in this episode.
The reporter in zpkb is for rani's case and this shows how important it is for Nofil. In one of the previous episodes Nofil told Meenu that he isnt a hero but this time he is actually fighting for Rani's justice against all odds.
I found Noufil and Fatima’s equation completely alright. That’s how friends behave.

ZPKB: You guys forgot to mention how attached Noufil has gotten to Qesarkalan now. He was once trying to run away from the village but now he’s calling it as his own. May be it’s the Meenu effect 😁
I felt that the journalist friend’s coming to the village was more important for highlighting the fact that the FIR has not been registered!! And that the media knows about it and it will now get harder for the police to completely ignore this issue! And Malik Nadir is also caught between this act.
Menu getting jealous is very normal as she is still disgruntled and not over for Nofil denying his side of love in front of that landlady.

i think hassan thinks like any kaiser kala resident wld while the rest of us think it was just a normal friendship from sheher. Notice how Nofil had gotten used to or attached to the village and the reporter could somehow tell that. She also noticed Meenu, and we are definitely seeing this reporter again later. She is a good character
Gentleman: As huge of a Yumna Zaidi fan as I am, I think she should be held accountable for choosing such senseless scripts recently - Bakhtaawar (drag-fest), Tere Bin (the lesser said about it, the better) and now Gentleman. Talking about the latter, I am speechless at the limitless drivel churned out in this so-called ground-breaking story. NOTHING MAKES SENSE! The plot is so messed up and the characters look as if they are under the influence of some drugs, especially Zarnab. This woman is supposed to be a no-nonsense, principled journalist who believes in culprits facing the music. Now just because her oh-so-glorious lover boy has indulged in a crime, she goes all starry-eyed and wears that annoyingly coy expression, says 'yes' and even goes to the extent of saying that her father wouldn't have any problems with the marriage and BINGO! The father doesn't disappoint his daughter, spews out some ludicrous philosophy (seems to be justifying Munna's crime) and gives his blessings to his murderer 'hona wala damaad). Matlab are we supposed to go gaga over the harmony of perspective between father and daughter or are we supposed to drool over the 'love' between the 'lovebirds'? And then we have Mifra who has, for some reason, assumed the role of Munna's staunchest advocate or should I say 'guardian angel'? Doesn't she have anything better to do than to vilify Faris, glorify Munna and hang out with her equally brainless bestie Zarnab? The ONLY character who doesn't get on my nerves in this torture saga is Faris - yes I was disgusted by the vulgarity of his expression in some previous episode but HEY our dear KRQ deserves to pour out his heart sometime somewhere and this time it was Faris who served as his cover. But still Faris has been consistent and believable, unlike Munna who is although consistent but is downright ridiculous in his life philosophy and actions. What makes him more irritating is the way everyone around him is so blindly in awe of him, in love with him. This unnecessary and redundant veneration reminds me of those crappy Ekta Kapoor serials where the protagonist was worshipped by all despite any wrong that he/ she had done. And the worst part in this whole arduous excursion is the fact that Haissam Hussain is associated with this - a director whom I have revered over the years for his beautiful contributions. This moronic story (if you can call it that) seems more like a Siraj ul Haq or Ahmed Bhatti direction instead. Itnaa ghussa mujhe inhee cartoons ke dramon par ata tha. How did Haissam get trapped into this mess? HOW? WHY?

Haissam can easily say no to to direct gentleman, and he's direction is also very average at best in gentlemen, I wonder that had haissam and humayun even read the whole script or not, I agree the only character that is still making sense is faris and also he is performing it perfectly. Yumna said no to the script after reading five episodes because she didn't felt that this role was fit for her but Humayun convinced her that Zarnab will be a perfect character for her, and till 14 episodes there was no question about it and dear Yumna Zaidi is not a writer herself, she is an actress, it's not her fault that majority of the scripts are not well written, she can't stay at home because she is not getting the best script everytime. And I feel there is a lot of jealousy and hate for her is forming in her colleagues because she was getting praised for every project, tb became a blockbuster, she beacame the only actor to win 5 lux awards, they are sidelining Yumna, how on earth she is not getting to work with directors like Saife Hassan, Nadeem Baig, Ehtashamuddin . While medicore actors are getting it.

My question here is when there are wonderful scripts out there like Mann Jogi, ZPKB, Kabuli Pulao, Standup Girl etc, why does Yumna have to choose scripts like Gentleman? Also isn't she taking the advice of her male co-stars a little too much? For Tere Bin, she listened to Wahaj Ali and now for Gentleman, she listened to Humayun Saeed. Time and again, I have left no stones unturned to praise Yumna when she deserved praise but when I see her making mistakes, as a viewer I have the right to question her choices.

Hassan, meenu isn't that open minded and she shouldn't be. I live in a city, Peshawar. I have studied in girls college all my life when i started my bachelors i first time saw how a girl and guy friends behave ( i went to co-ed university for seminar) i felt weird. I felt as if they all are in relationship😂. Then slowly i got used to it by more exposure.
If meenu thinks there is something going on that perfectly fine and the scene was there to show how different thier worlds are. Amna is right. We audience also needed to see the contrast, how nofil left that world of his and came here and how menu will fit in his life? There were the questions raised when i saw that scene.
Why does no one mention Anum in a good light? She does not make fuss about anything. Wajeeha, Dania and Ayaz treatly her badly but she still defends herself, but did not throw dirt on them (referring to Wajeeha and Dania's bathroom fiasco). She does not take Pangay with anyone. Does her work diligently and does not talk shit about anyone. I was expecting Amna and Hasan to discuss how badly everyone in the house treats...From Mahi to Humna, to Ayaz, Wajeeha and Dania.
And surprisingly Hassan and Amina both think Arsalan is good....He is not ....he is mesna

Dr. Nofil and his friend's interaction was completely natural and the episode was really intriguing , the progression was absolutely beautiful.

Yesterday when Mahi was fighting with Aqeel, Anam was sitting by the kitchen, when she got up and walked towards where a group of them were sitting, Arsalan whispered, “isko footage na doh, isko footage na doh”. It looked like Humna was about to talk to Anam, but Arsalan stopped her by making that “footage” comment. Why is he so threatened by her? And why is some 30-40 year old guy so desperate to be on camera? Nasty.

As a critic you have more responsibility to discuss small gestures & the messages conveyed

Where they are talking about meenu that she is mature and all grew up and she can take decisions all alone ... And one of the brothers says that you should keep an eye on meenu while the other says no we dont need to.... Gentlemen is kinda silly. Still watching it for the cast. Every time Zarnab is referred to as the Domestic Goddess, I chuckle because I am thinking the exact same thing. Very old Bollywood where the working woman became domesticated after meeting the guy. Don't know what happened with Bee Gul's Hum Dono n now KRQ' s Gentlemen.. Directors messed up the scripts? Or is it a case of ghost writing?
I can relate to how Hassan feels regarding the journalist and her creating an environment of doubt and confusion in this situationship between Meenu and Nofil because as someone who is sitting at the edge of her seat waiting for the sparks to become fireworks between the two lovers, it’s just an unnecessary and bothersome distraction. However, I do see how this will bring clarity to Meenu’s very little understanding of Nofil’s life and him being more than what meets the eye (quite literally for her). He’s lived a life before coming to this town and has expediences that have made him who he is - and I don’t believe Meenu has had any exposure to that world so this is going to throw quite a curveball in their direction. Just like him, she too has her own experiences that make her who she is, so we cannot assume that this won’t be a problem for her and won’t be a challenge and a half for him. Brilliant episode - I loved every bit of it!!!

Amna the real misunderstanding that you are having is that the talaq doesn't happen, if it is given once(in your case once three time), it does happen, but the husband wife can get together again, if they don't the marriage ends, but they can do Nikah again, it is also true for the second time, that they have a period in which they can get together, after which they have to do Nikah again, after the third talaq they can't do Nikah again, then the woman has to marry someone and that person then leaves her on his own accord or dies and then the first husband again wants to marry her, they can. The problem occurs when people plan the halalaa with the intention of getting divorce and that is not lawful in islam and they will have to pay for it in the hereafter.

Mifra has become Zarnab's only friend because it seems her colleagues were not her type.
Zarnab - the doey-eyed naive pretty girl who once waged war against gundas is now awed by Munna's beautiful revenge and still wants to marry; because Gentleman gunda's qatal is virtuous than a gunda gentleman. Her knowledge was put to the test by teacher Munna.

He basically committed that murder because of her. His Enmity with rehmati and Faris started because of her. So it wouldn't make sense if she left him at this point.

No doubt Yumna is a great Artist but something was off in the scenes between her and Humayun. Her look was not appealing ,I mean the way a heroine should look . It happened in tere bin as well . A lot of scenes lost their impact just because the makeup artist didn't do justice to her.

Tamasha episode was 40 mins because of Rabi ul Awwal special transmission at 11 p.m.
The episode was smaller bcz of bari raat. There was supposed to be 12th Rabi ul Awwal night programme of Waseem Badami which usually starts till 10 but due to Tamasha it was delayed by 1 hr
ZPKB: I think you shouldn’t say unnecessary, just look forward to next episodes there must be the answer why they included this.

This isn't the review for Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum but my God, there are hundreds of directional flaws. Heels, clothes, Dupattas, Mustafa's shoes, they change every second! Emmad is wearing two watches in one scene for no reason. Aunty says Abba is sleeping but then there's no one in the room when Bari Bahu enters (can't recall the name). And many many many more that you can't even imagine. The drama is good but the directional flaws are way too much
