It has been incredibly ignorant of me, but I've never given much thought to regions in Asia, save for the big guys like Japan, Korea, China, and India. It's rather humbling seeing people like anywhere else doing amazing things in parts of the world that I just shrugged away as developing nations with religious and cultural stereotypes.
It makes it so much sadder when the two realities clash and you get stories like from Mika - a person just like you - about nearly getting grounded from school for taking her private health seriously...
As amazing as Kobo’s singing is, I misunderstood the title and was sorely disappointed when she didn’t start singing “Gimme Gimme Gimme” by ABBA
