Here's a shortcut for anyone who doesn't want to listen but wants to know the gear:
Darkest Sword
Darkest Dagger
Darkest Longbow
(Any legendary armor) Threshing preferred
Darkest Cloak
(Any ring) Dark ring preferred

Drake does not suck man, I am on hardest difficulty and nothing can get me off my Drake. You can use your drake to swoop down and eat anything except captains and you can keep doing it and you won't die.
The Drake is also really good at farming gems
I think this is the first set up that I've actually had a high hype towards getting, the choas sounds exciting. I also like the aragorn set but this one? its chaotic !!!
The dark ring makes it last around 90-100% LONGER poison damage (Haven't leveled it up yet), means captains just melt (if they take poison damage). they rarely get away from me with this build, also good for making epic/legendary followers ,as they are more likely to come back after poison, curse, fire etc. as I'm sure you know. I never thought of adding the machine armour, that's a rather nasty combination :) Good idea!
So, I’m rocking this pretty much, but I think I have an upgrade. If you use the dark ring instead of the sword, and use the machine sword, you get explosions from glaive attacks and if you use summon followers instead of a bodyguard you get sappers from the 2 machine pieces adding to the explosive chaos.
Poison is my favorite tactic in this game. I was instantly drawn to utilizing as much poison as possible because it's just so damn effective. Even the poison-proof captains usually had some sort of easy weakness to exploit and make them dazed. I have actually since toned down my poison use by a lot because the game became way too easy, even on Nemesis difficulty. There was no sense of urgency or excitement anymore - I'd just shoot someone in the head and wait for the poison to wear them down or kill them.

Drake is almost invincible provided you keep diving to heal it. This is coming from me, someone who plays on gravewalker and has to check, multiple times to make sure I’m not playing on a lower difficulty. I even handicap myself sometimes by not summoning my bodyguard so let me tell you, drake doesnt suck
man a lot of grunts explode and i don t even use the machine armor, i do use the warmonger armor for fire defense. this build is amazing. after changing the items bonuses with gems now i see the true potential of this build

I use the darkest sword dagger and bow and rune and the bright Lord armor and cloak the darkroom doesn't actually increase poison damage it increases the duration of the poison so it's amazing probably the best piece I also use bright Lord's wrath instead of dominate in addition to Lord of Wrath

I got the game not to long ago and I made a build kinda close to this
I use 2 pieces of Machine armor and 2 of War armor because I can heal myself every time I launch an explosion since enemies ignite and are put on fire (I also like to use the drake mount and the explosions used to drop my health really fast so the war set helps a lot)

Personally I feel like mighty swing is better then deadly striker(the glaive skills) and I'll explain why.
1: it charges faster
2:it can't be stopped by savages(I've had a lot of savages stop my deadly striker attacks)
3:if you time it right it releases a small burst of energy the pushes enemies back(release it right as you fall into the stance)
4:it also gives decent might

Potates, the darkest ring at level 60 increases the duration of poison by 82%, not increase poison damage by 33%!
I have to ask. You've done several build videos, and I LOVE THEM. I hope you do more, no one else is doing anything near this specific, and it's fantastic.
But.
HOW THE #*@# are you getting the armors? "Grind" isn't even the right word for how RNG bs picking up legendary equipment is, yet you seem to be swimming in the stuff. Have you got some methods for farming legendaries you could share?
If you have a LOT of miriam you can spend it on lootboxes to get a chance to get legendary and then kill them off.
Yeah, like the other person said - buy silver war chest with your Mirian. Plus, you get a chance to obtain a legendary training order when you buy a silver war chest. These orders allow you to make any captain in your army legendary. So for example - if you wanted the ring from the Dark set, all you would need to do is find a dark commander in your army screen and make him legendary. Then just kill him(easiest way is to send him to your garrison and destroy him using training orders).
I wouldn't call it "grind" because that implies something tedious and not fun, but I have piles of legendaries just from running around killing Captains in each region. I love seeing the different names, titles, and combinations, and I'm constantly scouting for the next addition to my army, so most of my play sessions consist of hunting down Orcs or pitting my Orcs against others. Through that I end up finding a fair number of legendaries. You can also start doing things to earn Spoils of War points (vendettas, online sieges, etc.) in order to get a Spoils of War Chest, which guarantees one legendary Orc. You can then just destroy him for his equipment.
Then I'm glad you've had such good luck. I have not. For me, it's been a grind.
Probs to late but if u go to the tab wich shows all ur legendary gear u can see wich kind of enemy u have to kill to get the gear for exaple the dark sword u need to kill either a legendary dark slayer or destroyer

Something I don't like about this build is that it's super hard to not take massive poison damage while you're killing large numbers of enemies. I wouldn't recommend it for a fortress siege but it's cool for smaller groups and captains.

I don't know if you still play this, but I'm putting together a similar build. Did you ever find a Dark Ring? It increases the duration of your poison on targets. Also, did you know about the big update coming out mid-July?
I think having the dark ring which makes u gain HP from poison is better because poison brings down might which for this build u'll need
I use 4 pieces of Dark Set and 2 pieces of Outlaw and is so OP. Sometimes i can combine fire + poison and kill someone by "Hell Flame"
The exploding grunts from the 4 piece bonus also apply poison to YOU, so probably the best thing is to get an epic chest piece which makes you immune to poison (if there is one, I have only seen one which makes you immune to fire).
Yep! Swapping in and out gear based on how you want to play is recommended.
What's the best way to farm for legendaries? Without using MT's.

There is one every time you defend a fort so when the update comes that might the best way. I don't know any other way to reliably farm legendaries. They spawn quite rarely and I have never gotten one from a non-legendary (even epic) captain.
Try dying to grunts if none are spawning they seem to have a high chance of being epic or legendary try dying on nemesis because that may effect it
I've died on purpose a bunch of time it usually gives them normal enemies. The first times I died they were legendary though.
Epics spawn a lot but I haven't had a legendary in forever. It probably doesn't help that I have a whole bunch of limbo captains (who occupy the board permanently, though dead).
Yet most, if not all builds are circumstantial. You will need to set different upgrades to combat different uruks, there is no doubt about that.
am i just crazy where did all your other builds go, am i getting mixed up with another channel, i thought you had like 15 other builds, like the gandalf one, or for example, balrog i think it was, you use a bunch of fire damage and explosions and stuff i can only find the boromir build besideds this one
Hey I don’t have the sword yet so I’m using venomseeker it has 51% increased damage on poisoned enemy and critical hits has 44% to poison enemies
any advice on finding the gear set? I've tried getting killed to create new captains and got lucky once by creating a machine legendary
All poison attacks work for the poison upgrades
I plan on doing this now but there are rings were if you brand something or drain you get 100% health back which means full health it godly oh wow I'm almost dead sees a rat or a dumb orc 3 seconds later back to full health and during the crazy poison explosions you can brand someone or drain
use the machine cloak, you regenerate health while on fire or on balefire
The warmonger ring does the same thing
@potates does the green gem give any health to legendary set bonus.

I liked having the boxes, made getting orcs easier.
Danvil now monolith guarantee's one legendary during a siege it makes the game more grinding

Hey potates, I finished the game over a week ago and now have every region under full control. There are no more enemy captains or anything and as a result the game has become utterly boring. Is there a way I can let uruks retake the fortress or allow enemy captains to come into the region???
Kill your followers with the first dominate captain upgrade then advance time.
Kristian rodeigues as potates said, kill (or shun) some of your captains and advance time. As for fort aassaults/defence its been rumored that monolith will be implementing infinite shadow wars in the future.
Or pit fights to clear the board of your low lvl ureks while getting stronger ureks in the process
Do ranked online conquests man they're so fun
Now that the update is here you got rebellion and infinite shadow war do it never gets boring
Ground drain over Fury? Fury is the fastest way to get might in combat. If you need health use Shadow Drain + Bright Lord's Wrath.
Bright Lords Wrath unfortunately doesnt proc when using Shadow Dominate 😭

just play wraithgiver. Element builds are completely useless in late game i mean if you play against people actualy putting a bit work into the fortress

How do you get all this gear? I have been through the game twice and I might get a piece or two but not whole sets.
+Whitt Greer kill all legendaries you see. When you need spesific sets you can use legendary training orders you get from silver and online pitfighting chests. Or you can now get a orc you need to fight online until 5 wins to get promoted. If he is about to die just quickly close the game and he doesn't hehe

@@justfloppers8434 yeah you can only: slash, shoot, block, counter, sneak attack, execute, elemental smash, elemental exploiting arrow, dominate, wraith chain execute/dominate/stealth attack/teleport, shoot barrel to create explosion, poison barrel, ride caragor, ride graug, ride DRAGON, ride troll, summon spiders, summon orcs, summon gulls, swipe with glaive, throw knife, teleport smash, reverse teleport, roll, roll over enemy, ice roll over enemy, roll over enemy and then jump of enemy then chain teleport dominate attack, teleport dash, stealth teleport attack, turn into wraith and become invisible, resurrect enemies to fight by your side, last chance kill, make your attacks say BOOM, use your orcs to attack, ice chain super teror slam combo attack, trow hammer, stun hit attack and combo punch execution
And probably many other things I have forgotten.
And that's just with Talion, there are 4 playable characters.
So yeah basically just 3 things,
