As luck would have it I woke up to a flat tire today. (Nail) Thankfully leak was slow so I was able to just add air to the tire & throw this pump into the trunk. I’ll hit the tire shop at lunch for a proper fix. This guy just saved me a ton of time & hassle of needing to change a tire on a Monday morning when I needed to be somewhere. 👍
Mine is the same but didn't come with a dc charger. Or ac. For the price I think it should come with both really. Did yours come the same way? Mine is exactly like yours I think it's cause it's the canadian version idk lol
if it had a female plug it's be a proper backup power station! not just a emergency car pack! I've been happy with this I've had to use the tire pump in it multiple times and it gets me rolling again until I can get my tire plugged at the shop
I just bought a used one and I have mine charging with a extension cord, it has been charging about 12 hrs. and it shows to have 13.8v but it's still scrolling on the battery charge icon. How many volts does it top out to? I guess as long as the icon keeps scrolling just continue until it says fully charged?
Would like more information about length of time unit hold sufficient charge if unused sitting in the car trunk. Also length of time to use lights. How long does ghe battery last if u Nused
I haven't done duration testing, but I do charge the Battery every 3-4 months just to make sure, it seems to hold a charge fine. I just take it out when changing the oil on the car to top it off. As far as the lights, I have bumped the lights button before and come back the next day to see they were still on. not sure how long they'd run if I left it on.
Why do you think DeWalt would sell this unit without a way to charge it? At least they could say, “charging cable not included, make sure you buy one if you want to charge this battery pack.”
The air compressor on mine worked 5 times, 4 lawn tractor tires and one boating inner tube. I just tried to inflate my lawn tractor tires again and the compressor died on the first tire and no longer works.
I don't think so, this unit has a safety feature that shuts the pump off if it doesn't detect any back pressure. also a pump won't move the same type of air that a compressor mounted to a tank will for blowing systems out.
ive had mine for almost a year and it is junk , tested it on a load tester and it failed , I always kept it charged and it wont even jump start my pickup
@@gearsNtools No. they are same size so not working. I tested with 2 cars. They are not compatible. The air pump hose ens must be a little wider but it is not.

Thanks for a thorough review. Professional and concise. I appreciated the tip about the 3 foot cable and will be getting one asap.
My pleasure thanks for watching!
An excellent concise review of this product - thank you.

So this thing makes its own power ?!!! 😮
You covered it bro, thanks!
I have this and it works great, and the USB ports are nice. I wish it could be an outlet too. There is only a male pug to charge it.

What gauge cable should I use? Great video thank you.
Cables come included
@@gearsNtools I bought mines at a yard sale with no cable included.

I’m not sure, I guess they figured everyone has an extension cord.
I thought it was kind of odd which is why I pointed it out
It's not Great , has some flaws. but definitely has always done the job and I have yet to find any other combo units with jumper and air compressor.
Classic example of good enough. It gts the job done. My biggest complaint is it’s a bit bulky
When charging the unit it shows 14.1 V. Is that good enough to jump the battery?
Does this unit slow charge vehicle batteries?

how long did you charge the battery to full?
Can I use this unit to blow out my drip watering emitters and is there an adapter for doing that?

@@gearsNtools Thank you so much for your help.
How much should the DeWalt charger be charged? 12.5, 13.5, 14.5?

This hose cannot get connected to tire? Where can I find suitable nozzle to purchase and fill out my car tire?
The hose has a threaded end for connecting to a car tire.
No additional parts needed

How long dose it take to charge
I didn’t time it but after a couple hours it was reading around 13V. For a full charge I'd recomend plugging in overnight
It is garbage. Mine lasted about 7 months only. The compressor got broken.
Total waste of money. Used it twice. Already effed up!!
