Wow .....1956 these both......Teresa Żylis-Gara made her international career and Kazimierz Pustelak was denied to make it.....Mrs Żylis-Gara , I know her from German TV, long time ago and I will recommend her talk with August Everding for Dacapo ....Pilar Lorengar, Lucia Popp, Teresa Żylis-Gara : a favourite trio of sopranos for my ears. Ande here Mrs Žylis-Gara joined with her great colleague Kazimierz Pustelak....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, they sung , as very young singers together in Cracow Operetta and Opera (Les Contes d;Hoffmann, etc). It's a long story with my Father to whom polish communist authorities denied many, many times to give a passport to permit to sing in Italy, Vienna, and other countries. Long, not sympathic story. My Dad was choosen as a main tenor to grand opening of Sydney Opera - and.. the same story. Both passed away the same year...

Yes, but it was because my Fahter could not obtain a passport. It was planned, that we go as all our family - my mother, me and, of course, my Dad as a main person of our three. Life...
@@kazimierzpustelakpolishout5854 by the way, there are a lot of other singers not native german I remember from German TV resp german opera houses in my "career" as a passionate listener of the opera ....f ex Anna Moffo , Caballe, Sylvia Geszty, Teresa Stratas for the sopranos and for the tenors Ion Piso, Ion Buzea, Ludovic Spiess ( all romanian) and not forget Wiesław Ochmann( born in the same year as René Kollo )...know them all from German TV , many memories and long time ago, because I am connected with this field quite 50 years now( may I repeat it )
