In today's lesson I'll teach you how to play Wichita Lineman, the all-time classic written by Jimmy Webb & recorded by Glen Campbell.
This song is originally recorded in the Key of F - but I teach a capo 5th fret version that uses the Key of C chord family. This makes things quite a bit easier to play, while still capturing the nuance of Campbell's original recording. Plus - you can play over his album version using my capo 5 version, which makes for great practice.

Great lesson for probably one of the greatest songs ever written . Thank You So Much .
You aren't the only one who thinks so👍. Bob Dylan also described it as the greatest song ever written. The recording was by Glen and the legendary Wrecking Crew. Tim Pierce has a vid where he described that the songwriter Jimmy Webb told Glen it wasn't finished but, with urging from G.C. and his management, he gave it to them anyway. In the studio Glen borrowed a 6 string bass and added the famous understated solo in order to stretch out the song. That's the masterpiece that ended up on record.
Brilliant arrangement of an achingly beautiful song David …. Love it! 😻

In the past I was able to buy a downloadable PDF to go with a given lesson. Didn’t see that option available for this song. Did I miss it? Or do you not offer that anymore?
