There’s a reason the History Channel has produced hundreds of documentaries about Hitler but only a few about Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bad guys (and gals) are eternally fascinating. Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives. Listeners will learn about the young adult novels that helped Hitler form his monstrous ideology, the founder of Blackwater’s insane quest to build his own Air Force, the bizarre lives of the sons and daughters of dictators and Saddam Hussein’s side career as a trashy romance novelist.
New episodes twice a week on iHeartRadio.

Robert dancing pretty close to the sun with this "16 year olds go out and find oil executives" line lmfao
As someone who isn't a podcast host I tend to agree with his idea.
What's the crime? Huh, narc? Got a warrent?
we should all go out and find the oil executives in our lives
His wings aren’t made of wax
@@AnthonyChinaski wings made out of the finest weave of asbestos and kevlar.
Jamie Loftus, Hammer Murders, Michigan, CIA, Bill Clinton, comma
Jamie Loftus is the most dangerous person with a hammer.
She's the elusive Hammer Sister.
When Lorena Bobbitt emasculated and divorced her husband, one man dared to ask: so she's single? Because some women are worth risking everything for. He woo'd her and won her, and the former Lorena Bobbitt and her beau are still together, and the couple has a child so you know this man knows how to keep her happy. So when you tell me that Jamie Loftus is the main suspect in a heinous multiple homicide, the first question I have to ask is: so she's single?
Google; Jaime Loftus Grand Rapids hammer murder “single” for information
Can someone please make a Reddit post asking the adult children from this cult how their lives turned out?
Robert, quoting the Finders: "'... we're taking these children to Mexico'"
My brain, unprompted: "... they're taking the children to Isengard"
A good DM/GM/ref is great at branding, screws with the players, keeps the girls in the group, and finds scapegoats. Petty hits that check list straight down the line.
He didn't quite keep the women though
The missing price is Jamie loftus in grand rapids. That explains the entire cult
'why would someone say that?' - probably to avoid feeling like they wasted years of their life
Honestly if you think about all cult leader are kinda just really good dms. I think difference tho is similar to a con artist telling you a story and a fiction writer telling you a story which is one you are willingly suspending your disbelief and the other you don't realize you're suspending your disbelief
I visited the Finders house in DC in the 90s, with a journalist. After the discussion, the head guy, maybe it was Terrell, asked us if we cared to write down our names, a contact, and what we wanted…out of life, and what we could offer, if anything. That was their schtick. They acted as a clearinghouse for a network of folks looking for a kind of job, a spouse, or something else bigger than just property you can buy. They helped people find what they wanted.
There was a computer database of these wants and needs they used to connect people. I’m not sure that was the original vision, or the reason for the name. It’s one reason why they were of interest to the intel. community. They attracted a lot of foreigners, including Russians, looking for connections in US.
This has to be the most fascinating 4 part podcast I have ever bingelistened to in my life
As someone born and raised in MA, I’m so glad to have Jamie Loftus rep us!
A little off on some facts in this series on the Finders, but this is overall a pretty thorough review. Thanks for bringing more attention to this.. Would love to see a deeper dive.
Any particular facts in particular? I can't help but read everything I can on this. Most information displays some sort of bias (of omission at least) or questioned credibility and everything I find for facts just raises doubts or questions but doesn't give you any certainty or confidence for answers.

Here i go Culting again
Another reference to MKUltra and it's still not up on RUclips. hope it shows up soon.
In an example of the Baadar-Meinhoff Phenomenon, Mr. Bagel and their intense marquee showed up independently on my Twitter feed today
Archer introduced me to a tontine.
our hate of improv will heal us!!
This was a phenomenally interesting series.
As an aspiring GM (I'm preparing a 40k Wrath & Glory campaign for friends) I kinda like this guy. It does help that I choose to believe the most "blue pilled" interpretation of the story because if it's all play-pretend that makes the weird sus parts way funnier...
"The Washington City Paper" sounds so made up - I mean, it belongs in a cartoon series.
I cant believe jaime was that of a depraved criminal mastermind as kid :O
STOP! It's Jamie time. 8)
So, Wayne County?
Or, Oakland County?😮😅
Kinda suspicious that I can't find the MK ULTRA episode on RUclips.
Wow this was a hell of a story. I had heard of the finders but I see now that a lot of what I had "learned" was misinformation.
His ideas were communal living, pooling of resources, and radically change your life periodically. They learned things by going and trying to set up businesses in other countries, by researching government agencies, by having contact with strange parts of life that teach you and answer questions the group might have.
They bullied him into starting the episode.
Cool Stories
Where's the MKULTRA episode? I don't see it
It exists on iHeartRadio, but not on RUclips yet.
I want to learn more about this without listening to 4+ hours of podcasts or taking the same amount of time to read the FBI report. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

You think this cult just pranked everyone. Like it’s one big inside joke
What do you think about Jeff Martin being on Deepak Chopra's show/cast still spreading the word?
Good listen to another viewers point. ? have you read /or what you think of Nick Bryant Book about this case
Have the uploads caught up with the backlog?
grandpa simpson was in a tontine
Just say “No, but”
What if, say, due to the high-tech wizardry of the floating timeline, you've been _exactly_ 16 every year since 1988, and will be until at least 2084 when my copyright runs out? Do I still get my "free" kill?
Someone please help me, this sounds like the opening for part 3. 🫣
