Also, Having her compete in Miss Charm would make more sense because then she wouldn't have to wait a year and this organization wouldn't be crowning a delegate a year in advance. Let's be real: Kayla's appointment was a JG move. She's one of his girls, of course he'd give her the opportunity to compete. If we're talking about preparedness, Kayla may have the visa, but she's not competition ready. Just look at her performance in MUPh. I mean, why not Anita? Why not Raven? Why not Kymberlee? Any of those girls are much better choices. Papers couldn't be the only reason why Kayla gets to compete in Miss Charm instead. We shouldn't be so willing and eager to accept whatever bullcrap excuse JG hands out.
Cyrille competed internationally in Malaysia, which doesn't need a VISA for Filipinos. Getting a US visa isn't that easy. They need time to prepare documents coz once visa is denied coz of poor paperwork, you'd need to wait 6 months to re-apply. Also, Charm organizer announced the venue too late. Looking at the top 20, only these girls (I think) have an existing US visa - Christi McGarry, Chelsea Manalo, Alexie Brooks, Bianca Tapia and Kayla Carter. Christi's age may not qualify her for Charm, Chelsea, Alexie have crowns already. Bianca went to MWPH. The rest of the Top 20 I assume doesn't have an existing US VISA. Other girls that could have been options would be Kymberlee Street of Australia and Christina Chalk of UK. USA with Aus and UK share the same database, so they can fly to the US anytime and may not have issues with US homeland security. However, they may not want to compete in Charm. Or they weren't asked by the org to compete in Charm. Getting Kayla is the most logical and makes the most sense. Appointing her doesn't mean she's the most prepared in anything. The org is probably obligated to send a rep, and they did. Nothing sinister about it. IT IS TOTALLY FAIR.

All I can say is that Titas are always fair in their assessments. Quick to offer praise if deserved but never ingratiates themselves to the powers that be by refusing to sugarcoat. Thats why they are one of the more credible vloggers around....no biases just constructive criticism plain and simple. I pray more Filipinos can appreciate their brand of critique in the future.
