The thing which grabbed my attention was the number of m/c and/or scooters. In the video they vastly outnumber autos of course but even bicycles. And I wonder if this is a correct impression. I really like it if it is.
Cambodians are rich in family and community spirit. The friendliest most honest people I have lived among. Filming on the plastic recycling street in any city will look a bit messy.

I’ve noticed all your titles are leading toward negative side & I know that people like to see and hear everything that is bad of Cambodia rather than the good side. So maybe this is your way of clickbait. The video & the title are misleading man. This is just a normal alley of one Phnom Penh street & I can guarantee you that these people are not “too” poor as u say they are. It’s a normal household & they are comfortable with that. We are not a modern first world developed country where the government will give regulations to your house appearance. These are normal living quarters. Some of these people might actually own more businesses & have income more than you know. Add to that, they probably own more than 1 house. Yes, we do not live in condos and fancy European looking house but these are what our houses look like. They are fine living inside. These are NOT slums. If you want to share a real one, film at the slums area like Landfill.

I feel for Khmers people the invaders still happen since histories,and destroyed mostly Khmers natural Resources . Khmers local and others part of the Province as Sihanoukville are forces to be moving out from their origine habitat then fall into homelessness replacing by the Chinese investors that bring Casinos gambling activities and others criminal activities into the country. I’ll miss the golden era before the Genocide (1975-1979) 11:09 Genocides has 😢 killed Millions Khmers people.

They are not poor, mostly unkempt, everyone has cell phone, lots of motorbikes, food, clothing, shelter. They are doing better than Canada.
