Made of steel and measuring 39 mm in diameter, the cushion-shaped case of the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel model is still water-resistant to 120 m (393 ft) and inspired by the curves and roundness of the first high-speed trains of the 20s and 30s, from which it takes its name. However, its proportions have been reworked to give it more elongated lines, made possible by the smaller dimensions of the new calibre HMC 500. Integrated into the case, the steel bracelet is elegantly arced to extend the curves of the case. Highly complex in construction, it has extremely fluid lines, based on organic forms. The links, all unique and articulated, are the height of subtle sophistication, and supple flexibility.
To accentuate the steel of the case and bracelet, H. Moser & Cie. has chosen a Grand Feu enamel dial. Named "Aqua Blue", it reinterprets the brand's renowned signature fumé finish with the artistic flourish of a master craftsman. Starting with a pattern engrained onto a gold base, as if hammered, three different colour pigments are washed, finely crushed, then applied to create an ombré effect. Careful work and limitless patience are required for the master enameller to painstakingly apply the pigments, adding them one by one so that the colours oxidise and meld together when heated in the furnace, without any pixellation. A translucent "Grand Feu" enamel dial must be fired twelve times in total to create the fumé effect, where the lighter shades in the centre gradually deepen. Each dial is unique. Steel applique indices punctuate the edge of the dial, which features no logo. To display the hours and minutes, the three-dimensional hands made from two sections feature inserts with Globolight®, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super- LumiNova®. The offset small seconds is displayed at 6 o'clock on a lacquered sub-dial with a circular pattern, offering a beautiful contrast with the base dial.
Driving the Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel model, the new automatic calibre HMC 500 is 100% Moser, 100% Manufacture-made. It is the smallest movement H. Moser & Cie. has developed in the 21st century. Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., reflects on the development of this movement: "Our starting objective was to have a movement that was slim yet high performance. We then spent a great deal of time working to optimise the dimensions, which is why we decided to integrate a micro-rotor for the first time in our history. Made from solid platinum, this micro-rotor is mounted on a ball bearing, equipped with a bi-directional pawl winding system, and offers sufficient barrel torque to provide a power reserve of 74 hours. We have had to develop new smaller, slimmer components and mechanisms which could then be integrated into the available volume. The escapement was also miniaturised, whilst ensuring its performance remained unchanged, a technical feat made possible thanks to the expertise of our sister company, Precision Engineering AG. Because of the volume, the torque and the winding system, this was no easy task, but the result is a movement which will serve as a base for our small cases, and will enable us to introduce new complications, by combining it with modules developed in-house or in collaboration with our partner Agenhor".
The calibre HMC 500 features open bridges with a highly contemporary finish, decorated with the traditional Moser stripes and an anthracite grey coating. The company hallmark is proudly showcased on the micro-rotor.

LOVE this brand. Massive respect for not having excessive text on the dial. I wish other brands would do this. Rolex, I’m looking at you!
Love your comment, thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing! …. “I’m looking at you!” … 😜
Moser is awesome, wish I had more money.
Thanks for sharing your passion with us, I keep my fingers crossed....
The blue is incredible. Texture too.
Unfortunately we couldn’t film it in sunlight… it was raining cats and dogs that day…
The best release from H Moser so far!
Thanks for sharing! May I ask you to name the second and third place for us too?
@@WatchAdvisor has got to be the cylindrical tourbillon with MBNF and the Vanta black tourbillon
Good choices! 🙏🏻
🤩🤩🤩 What a beautiful timepiece!
Thanks for sharing your passion with us.
Crazy good! ❤
We love your comment, thanks for sharing!
Sehr interessantes Video. Danke Alexander!
Vielen Dank für dein nettes Feedback!
stunning piece …
Wears good too…
Gorgeous love what Moser and the brothers are doing. One of the best independents, a true watch nerds watch. I agree with the branding. If the product is recognisable, you don’t need an essay on the dial
Thanks for sharing! Less is always more…
The small subtle changes to the Streamliner case create an incredibly sublime, elegant and beautiful watch. Other watch brands should be taking notice; Moser is killing it!!
Did you hear what Edouard said at the end of the video?
@@WatchAdvisor it was vague. It could be anything from announcing new production capacity to a strategic deal similar to the one they did with Agehnor that helped them create the micro rotor movement I fondly recall when that deal with agehnor was announced and expecting big things; but didn’t realize it would happen this fast. All thought as I type I am now thinking this movement was probably already in development and wanting to ensure Agehnors mindshare, they did the deal.
Edouard said you always have to be ahead of your competitors...
@@WatchAdvisor yes, I got that! That’s a given. And they are doing exactly that. I did find it interesting to hear they are now up to about 3,000 units a year. And that to me suggests they do want to go more mainstream. I hope as they build critical mass they do not lose the ability to be nimble and ahead of the market. It is so easy for a company to get complacent either mentally or by nature of the vast infrastructure that is required. Going from a small speed boat to a large cruise ship is a delicate balance.
@@michaelkalb2896 As Edouard says... Moser watches are still rare compared to other brands and quantities manufactured...
Would definitely will be looking forward for smaller model especially for smaller wrist people like me. 36-38mm with thinner profile will be perfection !!!
I hear you… Thanks for sharing!
In assoluto uno dei miei orologi preferiti 🤩 ..
Grazie! It is difficult not to like/appreciate this incredible watch...
Amazing watch, i really like it a lot!
39 mm ... that's what some Moser customers wanted
That's beautiful! Probably my favorite Moser so far.
It wears “big” although it is a 39 mm watch…
@@WatchAdvisor I have a small wrist, so I'm sure it would work for me. I'm happy to volunteer as a brand ambassador just to be certain!
This brand is really growing on me! I love that Tiger's Eye Tourbillion you flashed on the video.
Each of the Moser watches is particular and beautiful...
This has the potential to be the next Royal oak or nautilus! I'm calling it!
Please do not compare the watch just enjoy the Streamliner… IMHO it is anyhow the coolest one…
Oh sweet Jesus
I’d like to see it in green too
It is tempting to make one … Yes!
this is a super watch and I like the micro-rotor.
Makes a calibre thinner… and nota bene The micro rotor winds in both directions… that’s a technical masterpiece
The H.Moser streamliner is a beautiful watch , I have the streamliner matrix green dial , would love to purchase the blue enamel dial streamliner watch .
Thanks for sharing your passion with us! May your Streamliner continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours... Please keep us posted!
What a great channel ❤. Big thanks for diving into haute horlogerie in your reviews! Your passion and insights make your videos a solid guide for understanding the craftsmanship behind these timepieces.
Looking forward to more of your captivating content in the future.
So nice to see brands like H Moser, Parmigiani Fleurier,… taking the centre stage. So many more gems to explore…
We love your comment! Thanks 🙏🏻 We work hard to deliver the best possible content to the best audience in the world…
Stunning and unique!
Thanks for sharing!
The Streamliner is definitely my dream watch. What Moser is doing sounds so right ! They think out of the box and it’s really refreshing !
Fully agreed, thanks for sharing! I love the fact that this is a design that we hadn’t seen before… in the industry there is a lack of creativity…
@@WatchAdvisor 100% aligned. I hear all the time « yes but it’s difficult to not look like because everything has been done already ». Moser it’s the perfect example that it is not a fatality ! Thanks for your videos which participate to support alternate watch brands. You’re almost one of the only to « think different ».
I have the salmon dial and this will be my next for sure 😍 Love Moser
Thanks for sharing your passion with us! May your H. Moser & Cie. continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours... Please keep us posted!
not a fan, but always happy with your videos, it is a pleasure no matter the watch (to watch)
Love your comment! Thank you for sharing our passion!!
Absolutely love moser....this watch is simply wowwww ❤
In many aspects a real luxury item compared to others…
A watchmaker who doesn't put his company name on the dial truly understands quality, craftsmanship and design. Respect.
I wish there were more out there… if you know how some of these dials look like…
This is my favourite wearable Moser & Cie timepiece! If I had the finance's, I would get this as my sporty alternative to my current dressy-sporty Omega Constellation Globemaster SS blue dial! 💙
Bravo Edouard, and fantastic video as always @watchadvisor! 👏🏽🔥
Thanks for sharing your passion with us and your kind feedback ... Never say never... we keep our fingers crossed...
Very nice vid, thank you!
Our pleasure! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely beautiful
We fully agree 👍🏼😜
Superb! What else can be said.
What about H. Moser & Cie. 😜
@WatchAdvisor yes, H. Moser are outstanding!
That is a huge case back. Glorious Watch. I just kept getting closer and closer to the screen when I watched this lol
Love your comment thanks for sharing!
The best integrated bracelet sport watch in the market, design is so cohesive, for myself wish it had a date function as I never wear a watch without a date except very dressy watches which are worn in special occasions so you don't need a date.
I hear you! Thanks for sharing… Later a Moser perpetual calendar might follow… you will then get your date…
This watch is almost perfect. Was thinking acquiring a Parmigianni Tonda PF (or maybe a Czapek}. But this Moser bring doubts. Alexander, help me ;).
Love your passion! The best way to find out is to try them 1:1:1 on the wrist in different light conditions… and then let your heart decide… believe me it won’t lie…
For me it would be the Moser. Czapek does nothing for me. The PF Tonda is almost perfect, but it's missing one vital thing for me and that's a seconds hand - my personal taste, of course, but no seconds hand is a deal breaker for me.
My thought exactly 😇
@@chriss2122Moser also more funky. And bracelet is for sure the more beautiful of the three. It is a real piece of art. Price quite higher however
Looks beautiful. Great craftsmanship
When great craftsmanship meets good design…
Omfg that is STUNNING. 🚨 New grail alert!!! 🚨
Love your passion!
Lovely looking watch. On the small sub dial it looks like there are small marks/artefacts/stamping marks on the circular rings. Shame as it distracts from the beautiful enamel dial. This is why I admire Grand Seiko dials so much as their finishing is exquisite.
Most likely your remarks are due to the sapphire crystal + camera optics + reflections + dust particles … caused and not by what you thought. It is very much daring to compare a Seiko with an H. Moser & Cie. . IMHO these Japanese watches are completely overestimated…
They've created another magnificent watch. But dangerous for my wallet.
Next time we shall integrate an "Horological Advisory" stating "Explicit Beautiful" ...
@@WatchAdvisor eh eh eh
AMAZING video and another AMAZING release from Moser! Alexander, I wanted to ask you how did it wear on your wrist? Do you personally get a better fit from this 39mm? or from 40 / 42mm?
Thanks 🙏🏻 for your super kind words! The new Streamliner literally melts with your wrist and since the dial aperture is huge it wears “big” although it is only a 39 mm watch…
That is stunning - that would be epic in white gold and probably yellow gold cases - please add a purple dial variant
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us! Edouard frequently reads here… so you never know…
What a gorgeous watch. Im on the waitlist for one. Unfortunately the online boutique closed their books for this year so ill have to try mu luck in 2025.
Thanks for sharing your passion with us! We keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Streamliner is such a beauty. Such a shame it is sooooo expensive :(
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
The Vanta black and gold is the best watch ever made
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
Amazing and unique design. Love the streamliner. However a few scratches on the bezel and I wonder if it all falls apart
Why should all fall apart? Can you specify?
It's always fun with Moser and Cie, also those laser gun sounds are fun too.
It is... but I had to laugh too... "laser gun sounds" OMG 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you so much for the wonderful interview and introducing this watch. Moser is so impressive. This is one of the most beautiful watches I have seen. Can you comment on the bracelet? It seems comfortable. What was your experience wearing it? Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us! The bracelet IMHO ranks among the most comfortable to wear I know…
Wow! That is high praise. I will let you know when I try one on
Please keep us posted! Can’t wait to read your thoughts…
Love it. How about a concept, with no markers at all?
Why not - yes! Moser has done that before
Meine Traumuhr nun😂❤
Thanks for sharing!
Yes, smaller! I like this one, not so keen on the sub seconds. 36-37mm please. My wrists are only 7.5 inches, so I prefer more classic sizes. xx
thanks for sharing!
I really like this watch and would sell my Omega silver Snoopy and others to get it... but I just don't want another blue dial. I like the green dials on the stream liner. Or the wine colored on the dual time... but anything else but a blue. But that's probably what most normal customers want, a blue or black dial.
Due to the success I am sure Edouard will introduce other colors in the future…
My issue is the watches are amazing but I'm poor.
Thanks for sharing your passion with us! Never say never... we keep our fingers crossed...
Die ist ja mal ein Knaller!
Ja, so ist es!
Great watch and brand. The price though is too high for a steel watch without complications.
It is maybe... the 150 pieces manufactured every year will easily be sold for that price though...
This model is stunning, but why oh why will I pay the expense for this watch, and NOT BE able to tell the minutes. Give me minute markers please.
This is a clear design decision not to have anything “distracting” on the dial… by the way with a little bit of practice you can easily also read the time correctly from such a dial..
Is there a blue enamel dial on the Endeavour line instead of the Streamliner? that would be amazing to own!
Blue is a favorite dial color of Moser... so you never know...
I still don't get the overall bulbous look of this watch, but maybe I just don't have "good" taste 🤷🏻♂️
tastes are simply different... that's all... so don't worry...
Incredible watch! How many of this model will there be produced? If they produce 3,000 watches per year then I am curious how high my chances are of buying this piece....
11:35 I have received my answer haha.
Well done!
Can you tell me H-Moser's bracelet name? it's beautiful, I've never seen a bracelet like this. does any other watch come with such a bracelet?
As far as I know the bracelet has no name... Why do you want to know that?
@@WatchAdvisorThis is probably inspired by watches from the 1960s or 1970s that have what is known as "Lobster" style bracelets.
Such a beautiful dial but seems like small sub dial finishing is not that good. I've seen another videos of this watch and every time it seems off.
... " I've seen another videos of this watch and every time it seems off.".... What does this mean? Can you specify?
@@WatchAdvisor that small seconds sub dial finishing is not good. Seems like there are dust particles or something like that.
Not finished well I mean ..
Beautifully crafted watch…just not my style.
Do you know the other Moser designs? What about them?
Why platinium for the microrotor?
It is heavy… for better winding performance
Kind of unfair to have this and the green lime in the same price :(
?? Can you specify please?
They’re already sold out through 2025 no need to shill it anymore.
Maybe they are… still no argument to not show the Streamliner
The „me too“ was like super cringe
??????????
Mechanical watches are still a thing?
They even are a BIG thing….
If I could only get over my intolerance for a missing minute track, i'd be all over this brand.
A little detail… tastes are different…. I prefer the more clean dial in this case…
@@WatchAdvisor Thanks. Could you please elaborate a bit more on what exactly it is about a clean dial that makes this particular configuration work? It would help support your point and I may even end up accepting it :)
Just my two cents … the huge small seconds indication and the indices that are on the dial are enough … as it is it is a perfect proportion … IMHO nothing else should be there … to read the time you don’t need a a more detailed minuterie …
